It's kinda funny how all the racists try to blame Tobirama in their own racism.
Uchihas aren't another race, they just the same as Senju. They all have one ancestor, and Kaguya obviously wasn't thousands and thousands years ago for evolution split up Senju and Uchiha enough.
But it so easy to make Uchiha another to blame Tobirama. So easy to change their race so Tobirama's haters can be racist as hell. (Because changing the race of character is already racist enough, ask Hollywood)
But well, my dear Tobirama's haters, I have a really bad news for you. Your the most precious Madara is racist and sexist as hell... because if you make Uchiha another race, these words are totally unforgivable.
Tumblr media
What? No one asked him or made him, he said it by his own will. Unless Uchiha just another clan as Senju, he is racist.
Oh, what you are saying?
What Madara was the victim of Senju? So did Tobirama, his little brother Itama was killed by five Uchiha (and one of them looks Tajima-like so...)
What, Tobirama did a lot racist comments? But he didn't.
First of all, please, take a dictionary and look in it. Yes, Tobirama kinda disrespectful and discriminatory but ISN'T racist. Uchiha aren't another race as blue-eyed or raven-haired aren't another race, and not any discrimination is racism.
Secondly, he didn't said anything too much. He commented on Sasuke? Well, you all would be so happy to see the bastard that make you kill your precious student some minutes ago and now talking that this Uchiha has a question for you. You'll be furious, won't you? And Tobirama just offended them.
Actually, Sasuke did ask about his opinion and "what do you mean evil" and Tobirama calmly answered. And he is a bit respectful for their power of love!
Tumblr media
Some haters says that he started the discrimination. Well, if they learnt the history, they would know that police&army have so important role that sometimes it's them deciding the ruler of country and government.
Did you get it? Tobirama gave Uchiha the force to stop him. He gave them a power and put them above all the Konoha's clans. He literally gave them a chance to silence Madara-2 by themselves... Because Madara-2 would be fatal for the clan's reputation like Obito did. And now it's him who started the discrimination?! Maybe it were lazy bastard Hiruzen and radical trash Danzou that twisted Tobirama's ideals, weren't they?
But that about evil part? Yeah, Tobirama is quite harsh person...
Like really harsh.
He roasts Minato for technique's name.
Tumblr media
And he calls Minato and Naruto idiots. Poor Minato is roasted to shame and excuses.
Tumblr media
His brother isn't exception.
Tumblr media
What? Is it gokage meeting? Nope, it's time to roast elder brother again.
Tumblr media
Who are you? The shinobi's ancestor? Well, it won't save you from roasting because you gave so nice advice and sooo in time! You were so helpful!
Tumblr media
I mean I'm so in love with his harsh manners but yeah, he really talks a lot of shit because he could and who'll stop him?
So, then we know that his manners shouldn't be trusted, that we'll see in his action?
Idea of peace (and of course he is roasting his father, yeah, typical japanese respect for parents)
Tumblr media
His respects for Madara. Yeah, he is kinda respects him and take him as example to rule as much as brother... And Hashirama is best hokage for Tobirama.
Tumblr media
Moreover, he is glad for Hashirama's and Madara's peace, even after Madara's attack on the most precious Konoha and all 4the Shinobi's War. He smiled!
Tumblr media
And last but not the least he wanted to save Sasuke from the death. He easily agreed with idea Uchiha inherits Hashirama's idea of Hokage and gave another example of Uchiha.
I can see why he can be hated. Yeah, he talks a lot of shit in harsh manner. He kinda provoked Madara with his talks with Hashirama (but I have more questions to spying Madara). He created the Edo Tensei that takes sacrifices, so his mind is twisted. He is definitely hipocrite with his "i created and prohibited" and "make your reputation to another kage... SHUT FUCKING UP!"
And yeah, Tobirama is kinda prejudiced to Uchiha, it's hard to deny.
But it's not him the racist in but his haters that labeled him as one. (And stop hypocrisy. It's both of them are racists in your definition or no one of them)

how would you classify Oro's moral alignment?
// I don't think his moral alignment can be pinned down so easily. At times, he seems totally chaotic and at others he seems more relaxed, even somewhat tolerant. I think his moral alignment depends on the situation at hand, who he's around, and how he's feeling at any given moment. Overall, though, I see him as a Neutral Evil figure that drifts between Lawful and Chaotic. He enjoys toying with people and sees no problem ruining the lives of others simply for his own amusement, but he does seem to value rules and hierarchy to some extent; he worked well with Danzou and Akatsuki for a time, and he rules over Sound with a tight fist. As far as Sound goes, Orochimaru seems to operate around a "Rules for thee, but not for me," mindset. It's very well for him to do as he wants--he's the boss, after all-- but if an underling steps out of line it's over for them, unless they happen to be lucky enough to be included within the inner circle, where Orochimaru seems to give a bit more leniency to those he considers more valuable. Even so, no one is entirely safe; he's perfectly capable of snapping and killing someone if he's in a bad enough mood. However, he's stated that he doesn't care about wars started by others, and he's content to sit back and let Naruto & Co. take out Akatsuki members for him, because it means fewer enemies to worry about in the long run. So even Orochimaru has moments where he's not interested in what's going on in the world at large, so long as nothing interrupts his own work. And really, that's all it boils down to. Orochimaru is, above anyone and anything else, concerned only for himself and his own ambitions. He's an opportunist; if working with a partner or as a subordinate gets him what he wants, he's fine with it, but he's just as fine with exerting his own authority over others and manipulating them into helping him. The ends justify the means and his means are often dirty, underhanded, and cruel. People and organizations are just there to be used and then discarded whenever he's done with them.

i just had a 1000 iq brainfart right now.... Konan is Tsunade's secret daughter conceived by experimentation.
just hearme out here, Konan, by the time she died was 35 (accourding to google) and at the time, Tsunade was 54 (again, accourding to google), which means Tsunade could have had Konan when she was in her twenties however, i believe Tsunade would know is she had a kid, so my heory is that somene (either Orochimaro or Danzo or both) managed to somehow steal one or a few of TSunade's eggs and get them artificially insemanted into a surrogate womb, which somehow managed to end up in Ame where Konan was born.
what really ties my theory is Konan's paper power, because paper is made of wood, Hashirama had wood release, Konan was really powerful, Hashirama was really powerful, Konan had really good chakra control, Tsunade also has great chakra control and in the world of Naruto where you blood lineage palys a huge part in how powerfull you either are or can be, those things add too much for Knona to not be related to Hashirama.
that or Hasirama was a man whore before he married Mito, and had a dozen or so bastards and one of them ended up in Ame, a centuru down the line later and we have Konan.
I know what you mean, anon. I once made a shitpost myself pointing out that Konan must have a milder form of the mokuton. It really doesn't make sense otherwise, right? Konan only fights with paper, she even creates paper out of thin air, but paper isn't an element, so that shouldn't be possible - unless, it's either an own kekkei genkai (in which case it would be a little weird that it's never mentioned as such) or a milder form of the mokuton. It doesn't add up otherwise.
That being said, I don't like the thought of Konan being a secret child Tsunade's born from experiments neither know of. That theory makes me uncomfortable, to be honest. If anything I imagine Danzou/Orochimaru using the Hashirama cells to experiment with, although that doesn't quite add up either, since 1. Orochimaru didn't work with Danzou back then yet, and 2. Danzou would've naturally kept the child in root and not let her roam free in Ame.
The closest possibility, if anything, is Madara being the one to do such an experiment, since he 1. had Hashirama cells and 2. was already in Ame to put his Rinnegan eyes into infant Nagato for safekeeping (I'm still not over this, literally what the fuck, Madara), so he may as well have added some Hashirama cells to another child just for shits and giggles...
Any of these theories is super far-fetched either way, but Kishimoto is the one who gave Konan a power that literally defies the rules he set in his own fucking universe. At least he could've attempted to explain Konan's paper no jutsu, but nooo, he really went into this "head empty, cool powers go brrr" and ignored the rules of ninjutsu he himself created.
Actually, the closest possibility is that Konan is a descendant of the Senju, and that's why she has a milder form of the mokuton. That makes far more sense than the other theories lol

Good morning! I see you're a fan of Danzou. Though he isn't one of my personal favorites, it's quite rare to see genuine fans of his and I get excited when I do. Lately, I find myself gaining an appreciation for him (however begrudging, and based on what he offers to the story).
If you please, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the character! What makes him one of the best characters in your eyes?
I mean, he's...hm he's definitely not a good guy lol. Did he do a lot of bad things? Hell yeah, he did. But I think a lot of people either ignore or forget the time he grew up in, the values that were instilled in him and others of the time. Is that an excuse for his actions? No, but Danzo is also a victim of the same cycle he participates in, doing things the only way he knows how.
In the end, he was simply doing what he thought was right for the village, no matter the sacrifice. Was he wrong for it? Oh, absolutely. But he's just as broken and damaged as everyone else. He was just left completely unchecked, and Hiruzen even enabled him. Like how do you just shrug off one of your former teammates trying to kill you?? Like HELLO! That should've been a wake up call that this man, your friend, was deeply unwell.
Something something, Danzo being the product of a failed system that ultimately failed him too. He is by no means a "good guy" but he also isn't the root of all evil here either.
He did what he thought was right no matter how twisted, he did things the only way he knew how and God damn he didn't have any kind of support system because in the world of Naruto what even is mental health.
Tldr: I love this horrible old man, who isn't the cause of everything bad ever (looking at you, Tobirama)
But that's just me lol.

I loved reading that Naruto fic you wrote at the start of 2023 "Bit part", with the SI protag a sweary cut-snake-mean chunin. Honestly the best bit interactions with bby!Kakashi, and his resulting unprofessional language acquisition :) The second best was the way you captured the frustrated pauses and half sentences, as you worked through her perspective. It really captured a heck of a lot of tone that's often missing from fic
One question: you said in some comments that she was a potential anbu/root candidate, but I could never work out why? She referred to herself as a mediocre med nin, so I thought it couldn't be that, other times she might have been hard to notice? Like when she was in the pub with Tabata. Did I miss something horribly obvious or was it lost under the general "unreliable narrator + short story" vibe?
Thank you for writing it!
oh haha yeah, yamada is actually an assassination & infiltration specialist— or at least, her talents naturally incline her to be very good at it, and there’s only so much of herself she’s capable of hiding when her life is on the line. she’s got an iron-tight amount of control over her chakra, partially because in some ways it still reads to her as foreign so she’s intimately aware of what she puts out to a sensor’s radar. she’s been scouted for anbu before, her lack of clan connections especially make her an appealing candidate for the kinds of missions konoha doesn’t want to admit they do (& especially for danzo’s sub division). she just doesn’t want too (lol) and devoted an uncharacteristic amount of effort to being a halfway competent med-nin, which sort of gets her left alone but objectively just makes her an even more appealing candidate for these kinds of things…
it’s all probably a bit toooooo “implied” but i wrote that story to have fun and work through writers block. so lol.
unfortunately for poor yamada all roads lead to doing jobs she doesn’t want to do. to me and the vague future i envision for her she’ll wind up being jiraiya’s (and minato’s) agent upon being very unwillingly dragged into a political conspiracy— jiraiya doesn’t want to be doing this either but sakumo is his friend and danzou crossed a line to him by trying to take out this specific political enemy. yamada is already involved and good at what she does so she was a bit doomed the moment minato pegged her for being competent.

Hello are you going to make another Naurto fanfic. I love all the ones you done so far
Hello,
I'm glad you like them. Thank you for letting me know. ♥
I'm currently low on writing juice, but I started a new project some time ago. It's about a disabled OC!Senju potentially paired with Minato and Shikaku.
I might as well share an excerpt here to see if it interests people and in turn motivates me to write more, otherwise, it will just stay in my drafts uselessly...
Follow the Minato by clicking on the "keep reading", and don't forget to leave feedback if you want more!
Tumblr media
Inoichi threw himself on the free chair more than he sat, the wooden legs squeaking on the pavement.
“Did you hear?” he asked his friends with an excited face which meant he had a juicy piece of gossip to share.
The three jounin looked at him with amusement for his antics.
“Some of us barely woke up yet,” Shikaku drawled from his place against the wall, his chin propped up in his palm. To his credit, he had come back from a mission in the middle of the night and it was just noon.
“Do share, Inoichi, it looks like good news,” Minato added, smiling.
“And we certainly do need more of those,” Chouza agreed while serving himself generously among the dishes spread on the table.
“The Senju are organizing a courting trial!”
Shikaku deigned to look up from his food to stare at Inoichi in disbelief. “That old tradition? People still do that?”
Inoichi glanced surreptitiously around them to make sure that no one was paying too much attention to them, but the restaurant was depressingly empty (an ongoing war would do that to businesses).
“I heard from a reliable source that it’s done to, let’s say, deter a few unsavory characters from the courted party.”
“Damn it, Inoichi, just drop the names already,” Shikaku muttered.
“Fine! You really have no taste for mystery, Shikaku. I’m saying that Senju Airin claimed she wanted a courting trial when Danzou tried to arrange her marriage with his nephew.”
“Ew,” Chouza said. “Shimura Daiki? What a nasty piece. I wouldn’t wish him on any of my clanswomen… nor the sweet Airin. Well played if she dodged that bullet.”
“He could still complete the trial,” Minato pointed out.
Chouza sniffed in disdain. “I don’t pretend to know Airin-san very well, but she’s smart enough to find some trials too difficult for him to complete. Probably something that requires more than two neurons rubbed together.”
“Wow, tell us what you think of the guy, Chouza, would you?” Inoichi laughed. “As a matter of fact, the first trial is a game of go against the lady herself.” He wiggled his eyebrows toward Shikaku, to the others’ amusement and Shikaku’s exasperation.
“No, I’m not entering a courting trial just because it involves go,” Shikaku groused, throwing a wooden pick at his friend. “But back up would you? Why does Danzou want his nephew to marry that girl?”
“She’s two years older than us,” Chouza provided helpfully in between two bites.
“Alright, fine. Woman. What makes her so special?”
“Apart from being the only Senju woman of childbearing age left in Konoha, you mean?” Inoichi asked, finally realizing he was hungry and grabbing a plate of skewers.
“Yes, apart from that.”
“The Senju clan has been declared endangered,” Minato piped up while Inoichi was busy finally eating. “It means that any new member of the clan, spouse or children, receives financial aid.”
“And…” Inoichi adds with a shit-eating grin. “There are rumors…”
“Of course, there are,” Shikaku muttered.
“... that Senju Airin has got Mokuton abilities!”
“Bullshit,” Shikaku immediately denied, throwing his hands up. “Rumors? If she had Mokuton abilities, she would have been heralded as the Shodai’s reincarnation or something. Everyone would know about it.”
“The decision to keep it secret could have been made to protect her,” Minato suggested, always ready to play the devil’s advocate.
“She wasn’t the best fighter, even before being injured in combat,” Chouza admitted. “You don’t put a target on the back of someone who can't handle it.”
“How injured?”
“Her ankle was smashed by an Iwa nin. The articulation was so badly injured that not even Tsunade-hime could completely heal it. I saw her recently in the streets, she walks with a terrible limp. She uses a cane, most often.”
Shikaku hummed. “Well, I never heard of her. What does she even look like? Compared to Tsunade-hime, how—”
Minato kicked him under the table so sharply that Shikaku hissed in pain, scowling at his friend before following his eyes to the door. A young woman was stepping in, walking with a limp and a cane.
“Are you kidding—” Shikaku whispered under his breath before quieting when it became clear the woman was walking toward their table.
She had the same doe eyes as Tsunade-hime, but that’s where the likeness stopped. Her long wavy hair was light brown. Her skin was tanned, far from the blond’s fair skin. Where Tsunade was slim and relatively short, this one was plump and tall. Their chest size might compare, but with the modest layers she wore, it was hard to tell. Also, she wore pink, and she had freckles. He would have never imagined they were related.
“For the record, the window is open, and you have the discretion of Jiraiya-san near an onsen.”
To all his friends’ relief and bafflement, Chouza burst into laughter and stood up to greet the newcomer, breaking the awkwardness that had descended upon them.
“Airin-san! It has been too long!” He opened his arms, and Airin accepted the bear hug more gracefully than any other non-Akimichi.
Shikaku sighed as he caught up. Between Airin's coloring and body shape, and Chouza’s familiarity with her, they had to be related.
“Chouza-kun. How are you?”
“I’m fine, all fine! Let me introduce you to my friends. This is Namikaze Minato, a dear friend, and brilliant jounin.”
Minato stood up to bow. Airin greeted him with a “Pleased to meet you.”
“And these here, are my teammates, Yamanaka Inoichi and Nara Shikaku.”
Both nodded in greeting, foregoing the standing that Minato insisted on as a non-clan member. It was old school, but some idiot classists insisted on the practice.
“Let me guess, Chouza; she’s a cousin?” Inoichi asked, voicing Shikaku’s thoughts.
“That’s right! Her mom was my dad's cousin,” Chouza confirmed, laughing. He knew his family tree by heart.
“I take after her, obviously. I hope you aren’t too disappointed by the dissimilarity with Tsunade.” She said while gesturing from her chest to her toes. “She took after great-uncle Tobirama, I’m told.”
Shikaku rubbed his brow. This was on him, he knew. “How much did you hear?”
She shrugged. “Enough.”
“I apologize if I was rude.”
“It’s nothing I haven’t heard before.”

Had to see the fucking. Limbo was genuinely helping Danzou by restoring her memory rancid take again (helped me add to my block list I guess) and ughh, yes he DID mean what he said when he’s doing it to hurt her, I mean how else do you hurt an unfeeling machine? She doesn’t even feel physical pain! It wasn’t even her full memory he recovered, and she doesn’t even so much as have conflicted thoughts about them for doing so because it’s fully malicious!! I don’t get how anyone can go through that interlude and see that sort of overt cruelty and think otherwise!!
ALSO SHIMOUSA WE LITERALLY HAVE PROOF IN SHIMOUSA…. The part where he makes her fight against the companions she’s come to care about to the point she was willing to turn against him, and she was even beginning to remember her son (and I do think he was involved there because he mentions messing with her mind). And not in a mind control way but having her be conscious of her own body moving against her will AND THEN MAKES HER SELF DESTRUCT, KILLING HER… her interlude isn’t even the first time he’s done something like this!!

Hi. I read your answer to the ask if Sasuke awakened a new power for Karin and I have a question. The chapter in which Sasuke protects Karin is titled "New Power" and it may refer to amaterasu or the ability to extinguish it. Sasuke learned from Tobi that Itachi had given him some power of his eyes (I don't remember if Tobi said it was specifically amaterasu) and when Sasuke was able to put out the flames, he was surprised that he succeeded. But Itachi could put out amaterasu and Sasuke didn't see Itachi doing it. So could Itachi transfer the ability to use amaterasu with the ability to put it out? Was it even the awakening of a new power if Sasuke already had it?
Hi. Yes, Sasuke does realize while trying to rescue Karin that he has awakened a new power which is to be able to extinguish Amaterasu.
Tumblr media
He also didn't see it when Itachi extinguished it while he was battling him.
Tumblr media
Tobi actually told Sasuke that Itachi had transferred all his eye techniques to Sasuke with the forehead flick.
Tumblr media
However, the Amaterasu that Itachi implanted in Sasuke's eyes, that Tobito got attacked with, was put there to kill him. It was a failsafe mechanism that would get triggered when Sasuke saw Tobi, who helped Itachi murder his clan. And Itachi never wanted Sasuke to know the truth about the massacre.
Tumblr media
It got triggered without Sasuke's knowledge. For it to happen, Sasuke's eyes (which hadn't awakened MS at this point of time) turned into MS temporarily and released Amaterasu. Since it was Itachi's power, Sasuke's eyes turned into Itachi's MS wheel.
Tumblr media
Soon after this though, he awakens his own MS. When Sasuke fights and attempts to capture Killer Bee (when he needs to rescue Karin), he is using his own MS.
Tumblr media
Amaterasu is a MS power. You can't use it unless you have MS. So what 'New Power' means is that it is Sasuke's own MS that not only has the power of Amaterasu, but extinguishing it too, which he only finds out then.
However he loses his own sight after fighting Danzou. After he has fought Naruto and others at the bridge, his sight is almost gone.
Tumblr media
So he finally gets Itachi's eyes transplanted. But the MS is his own, not Itachi's.

tobirama you're doing great sweetie wait what is this tournament about again? looks like i can't read suddenly
uh i'm surprised people dislike madara, i mean, not that he's the most pleasant person but he's one of the most badass antagonists i can think of. his only big crime to me is being OP to the point it salvaged the narrative. but god did he live up to the hype.
also, you disqualified the konoha elders in your first poll, what changed your mind?
Changed my mind because people asked, and also they don’t actively do as much as Danzou and people often forget about them. So since people wanted them in I figured they might be okay to add since they’re not as severe as Danzou.

4, 5 and 19 for don't trust them brother if that's alright?
Of course it is, dear anon! (for the recent fic writer ask game)
Ah, don't trust them, brother (oh, but look at me now), my Uchiha Izuna In Canon Forwards Timetravel fic. Beloved longfic monster of my heart ❤️ NOT abandoned—NEVER—my adhd brain is just very prone to wandering off for longer amounts of time...
4. What detail in [insert fic] are you really proud of?
The Crow summons. I love them so much. They were so much fun to come up with and I spend a LOT of time on their names and abilities, and I'm utterly in love with the boss summon Miu and also their home tree.
I'm also really proud of the details on how Izuna actually ended up in the future the way he did—it makes so much sense in itself and is SO NEAT and ties various themes together—but that is a major spoiler for future chapters soooooo I can't tell you ;) I'm still very proud of it though.
5. What do you wish someone would ask you about [insert fic]? Answer it now!
Huh, this one's hard! Hmm. Don't ask me about my writing process or updates 🙃 Not but for real this one is a bit open for me, I'm sorry, my mind is drawing a blank here. Feel free to ask something else??
19. If you wrote a spin-off of [insert fic], what would it involve?
...Okay, this is slightly cheating, but I do have a spin-off for dttb already: what a curse (to not have these eyes), which is set in the dttb!verse but with backwards time travel, meaning that dttb!Izuna (more specifically, an Izuna slightly into the future of where the main fic is at currently) wakes up back in the past with his memories of the future. It's looking a bit bleak at the moment, but I do actually have a follow-up/second chapter for that nearly ready to go! Yay!
A potential spin-off I might let my bff ghostwrite for me is actual explicit Izuna/Kakashi smut... ;D
Another is dttb!Izuna from POVs that aren't Izuna because that would straight up be hilarious. Fun POVs for this would be Itachi, Hiruzen, Orochimaru, and of course Danzou.
Further spin-off ideas I might or might not have toyed around with at some point... well, these aren't so much spin-offs as AU versions, but I think I considered Izuna waking up in Suna at some point? Which would have featured a Gaara Adoption Arc, probably. Another option for Izuna in canon time would've been via Orochimaru experiments (probably trying to revive Madara and got Izuna instead), and that would've also had a resurrected Kushina according to my notes. Fun times.

What do you think of Danzou? I think he's someone possessed by evil.
I believe he symbolizes what the shinobi culture had to offer to all its members. In a society where you are validated by the amount of power you possess and by how much you can sacrifice in the name of the greater good, the truth is that there are only benefits to becoming more powerful (even through inhumane means). He and Hiruzen are two sides of the same coin, both surviving and sustaining the same ideology, just with different motivations.
The corruption in Konoha didn’t start with Danzo; he merely took advantage of it.
It really frustrates me how all of this is reinforced by Orochimaru’s pardon at the end of the series as well.

Which dynamics did you pick for the other rookie 9? For the sfw BDSM au
Yes! Questions! Okay, here's what I have:
Reminder on terms, switches need both domming and subbing in their lives, versatiles can do either, but only need one. Neutrals need none, but some still like it for fun. Like real people I guess.
Team 7:
Kakashi - Versatile - He's a versatile with a preference for subbing, who has never subbed. lol. He will dom just often enough to keep himself mentally stable enough to avoid a domdrop or subdrop. His nature is to enjoy either subbing or domming, but his nurture has made him more inclined to sub.
Sakura - Dom - She was very insecure about her presentation. Ino presented first (sub) and she wanted to be like her, not to mention, her parents started treating her differently from that point and it messed with her head a bit. It isn't until she's older that she comes into her own and accepts herself.
Naruto - Switch - Vibes. He doesn't care. He barely knows what this means. He thinks both Sakura and Sasuke are very dramatic, because it's not like dynamics impact their shinobi work, so who the hell cares!
Sasuke - Sub - Hates it. Despises this part of himself with every fibre of his being. Rejects it. He becomes more antagonistic to fight against his urges on principle. Kakashi is very tried of dealing with it.
Yamato - Artificial neutral - As all Root and ex-Root agents, Yamato is a neutral. It is unclear whether he is naturally that or not. No one knows how Orochimaru figured out how to change dynamics, but Danzou used his methods with great success. Sasuke was probably tempted away from Konoha partly for that. (Yamato would have actually presented as a sub, but no one knows that.)
Sai - Artificial neutral - Same as above except Sai was actually a neutral all along. He also doesn't know that. He finds the whole thing much easier to accept than Yamato though, which might hint that he'd been a neutral all along, while Yamato was mourning a part of himself instinctively and tends to pine over what could have been. He probably tries both subbing and domming to see what it's like at least once though.
Team 10:
Asuma - Dom - He loves being a dom and is lowkey a bit cocky about it.
Shikamaru - Dom - He says that he wishes he were a neutral so he didn't have to deal with any of this, but he doesn't really mind being a dom really. It makes his work feel quite fulfilling and the way he doms is low effort so 🤷🏻‍♀️
Ino - Sub - She is also incredibly proud of being a sub. She recognises and truly believes that the sub role is the most powerful, and loves having such an easy way to relax. Like, she can relax completely by doing chores as long as someone tells her to, doms wish they could get chores and relaxation done at once!
Chouji - Sub - He's pretty relaxed about his dynamic. He's glad he's not a dom, he finds that role intimidating, so I guess he's happy to be a sub. He does sometimes let Shikamaru dom him with a platonic scene.
Team 8:
Kurenai - Versatile - She's a versatile who's currently an acting sub with Asuma. Being a versatile always felt like the best dynamic for her. She wasn't ever limited on partners, platonically or otherwise, and versatiles are inherently less likely to drop. She's just quietly happy with her presentation. It also helps her relate to all her students (bar Shino) and help them properly through the confusing mix of presenting and puberty.
Hinata - Sub - She wishes she weren't a sub because she thinks that maybe her father would love her more is she weren't. :(
Shino - Neutral - His entire clan is neutral. It's one of their clan quirks. He finds the whole dom sub thing very confusing and mildly disconcerting. He is a neutral who doesn't like the idea of participating at all, even just to try.
Kiba - Switch - He's a little insecure as a child because he really wanted to be a dom, but when he's older he embraces it. Adult Kiba's favourite way to engage in scenes is sexually, so being a switch opens the most doors for him, and he's very smug about that.

Alright, I’m an SNS shipper through and through, but I have problems with the fanbase just like you.
For example, the other day, I saw a post that was describing SNS really….weirdly, I guess is the word if I want to be generous. They said it was toxic, extremely codependent, self destructive, fight often and get off on fighting, saying Sasuke was a sadist, both were toxically jealous, and that nothing was healthy about their relationship. And before you ask, yes, this was a pro SNS post despite how anti it sounds.
Okay, yeah, Sasuke was possessive, and they both were obsessed, but that was balanced out by their unrelenting care for each other. But this post seemed to flat out ignore that, saying they were “legendary” for having “nothing healthy” about their relationship. Even comparing them to Megan Fox and MGK. I have no idea who they are, but I can imagine they aren’t anything good. A lot of people were agreeing with the post, too, even a Tumblr account I follow. Maybe I’m just being sensitive, but that isn’t how I interpreted SNS at all.
But that’s just my take. What do you think?
Okay, I came across that post after I wrote a complete answer... And in that post, they mentioned that it’s their headcanon. So, It’s literally wrong of me to write a dedicated post to crush someone’s headcanon... (Hence Scratching part of my original answer)
As long as anyone realize what they are doing, that’s awesome. But the moment they claim that their Headcanon as the One True Canon and get catty with others for not agreeing with them... then that’s when I go full on offensive.
However, there’s only one thing... I want to say
Sasuke is not a Sadist.
[[The reason for people coming to this conclusion is mostly because of his rabid stans... Those Cringe people]]
According to Collins Dictionary...
Tumblr media
Obtaining pleasure from hurting other people...
Hidan, Deidara, Madara, Obito, Zabuza, Orochimaru were all Sadists... [[Nagato wasn't]]. They took immense pleasure in hurting other people.
I agree that Under the Bridge Sasuke said, he got an High from killing Danzou... And then he also said he wanted to destroy Konoha... And yet... Sasuke was verifying his resolve to destroy the Village over and over again in many places...
Tumblr media
By this time, he knew the Truth... What is the need to ask this question though??? Especially to that Danzo....
Tumblr media
Again, One more verification.... “Are those news true??? Were my decisions are valids????”
Tumblr media
One is Good... Two is Okayyyish... But three is a Overkill.....
He made up his mind to destroy the Village in order to get his Revenge... If that's the case Then why didn't he go ahead??? Why is he asking the same question to 3 different people again and again and again????
Which means, he wanted to know the Truth before going ahead with his Revenge... Didn't he? If this were Madara, he would've released Kyuubi and wouldn't even hesitate to destroy it... But Sasuke is not like that.
Tumblr media
He still has doubts and want to clear those doubts... He couldn't even kill 1000 Soldiers when Orochimaru asked him to.
These are not the behaviour of a Sadist.
Also, under the context of SNS, When did Sasuke display Sadism?? Yes, he was smirking when he rammed that Chidori into Naruto...
Tumblr media
But he ended up regretting it towards the end of the Battle, didn't he???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which means, the pain he inflicted on Naruto didn't give him any pleasure...
Sasuke is an inherently good character but he was forcibly trying to become a Bad, Dark and a Sinister person... Sasuke's journey was all about finding that Goodness inside him.
But What I get from SNS is....
In a world where 2 little Orphan Boys who possess Greater powers were left Abandoned and Ignored...
One was positively Isolated... that is, he was kept in a Highest of the High Mountain filled with praises citing his Prestigious Belonging. “You are an Uchiha, You can do everything... You are a Genius and You are the Strongest”. And yet, Nobody was ready to climb that Mountain and reach him out like a Normal person.
Another one was negatively Isolated... that is, he was kept in the Lowest of the Lowly Pit filled with Scorn, Hatred and Anger. “You are a Jinchurikki, You could go out of control at any time and You could destroy us all too, Just ignore him”... As Expected, Nobody was ready to give a Hand, lift him up and reach him out like a Normal Person.
But there was this one fine day, when the World abandoned them...
Tumblr media
A Boy who used to be in a Rock Bottom Pit came to notice this boy sitting further down near the Lake Pier.... (A Visual cue about, “I was already pushed to the bottom... What is the possibility of someone living further lower than me?”... Like there was no reason for this guy to look down and yet he was surprised to find one.)
Tumblr media
A Boy who used to be in the Top of the Lonely Mountain was looking up to the Boy who was walking away... (An complete opposite Visual Cue from the Above one, “I was already kept on the top... What is the possibility of someone over there above me?”  Like there was no reason for this guy to look up and yet he was surprised to find one.)
Tumblr media
And they acknowledge each other... they get this faintest feeling that I am not Alone. And There is atleast one more person who is just like me has noticed my presence and appreciated for who I am. There are not an Uchiha or Jinchurikki barrier at this moment....
There are no words, exchange of material things or anything... It’s just this Mutual Observation and this Faintest Feeling of not being Alone had became the Solid Steel Foundation of their Bond.
How many of us can say that, Yes... Just this faintest feeling is enough to maintain a life-long bond with our partners and that We don’t require Physical presence, Dates and all that????
It’s this Faintest and yet Powerful Feeling was what Sasuke wanted to severe himself so badly but he really couldn’t. It’s this Faintest feeling was what Naruto wanted to cling himself so tightly.
And whenever this 2 boys had the chance to come to an Understanding and spend their time around each other.... Just for little longer.... Somehow or Something will come between them and split them apart. But their Desire to be next to each other was always burning inside them, no matter what...
How that boy from the Highest Mountain and that boy from the Lowest pit reached each other out, came to an Understanding, saved each other by expecting nothing but providing Unconditional Love
is What I get from SNS.

One of the things that make me absolutely despise the boruto shit is how cruel it is to Yamato , what do you mean that Kakashi who knew the shit Yamato went through, made him live hell again and spy on oroshitmaru, and why is god's name dodnhe send him to begin with if he is just gonna let the snake bastrard create children in labs and do nothing, I never understood the spy shit, itachi wa sa spy in the Akatsuki yet failed to report shit, Jiraya was a spy wand he failed to report a whole ass invasion against konha , like do spies just spy for the same of spying ?
for all that, in practice, at this point in his life, orochimaru’s apparently an “okay” parent, (which is pretty funny to be honest) there should have been absolutely 0 realities where anyone let child abuse and murder man anywhere near one child, let alone two and some change. and it shouldn’t be tenzou’s problem unless he actually gets to kill orochimaru! and further, since it WAS forced to be tenzou’s problem, realistically he would have stolen log and mitsuki i think. jesus. it’s just bizarre. there are no second chances for orochimaru!
itachi got strong armed into the akatsuki in exchange for obito murdering half the clan so he didn’t have too iirc so i imagine the situation with itachis true loyalties are somewhat muddled except that he ultimately will do what he thinks is best for konoha whatever that is (and whatever is “””best””” for sasuke). BUT if he was reporting to anyone it was danzou and danzou literally was perfectly willing to let pain blow up konoha if it meant scooping hokageship from the ashes so even if he was reporting regularly i don’t think it’s odd nobody did anything with his information. lol.

I swear I’ll write my whole Limbo analysis post one day cause I disagree with a lot of some popular ones but anyway I feel like he’s treated like an innocent monster or wanting to help people too much when he really doesn’t…?
Like Limbo is already just the evils of Douman but he already was very much not a great person…? Look at the oneshot or Shikibu’s words (“you have not changed at all. Absolutely, no changes at all…”) and reading Abe no Seimei monogatari is confirming the same to me.
I don’t think anyone is born evil but he’s a petty, arrogant man who is very quick to go off the deep end, we are talking about the guy that hears about Seimei and immediately goes oh someone who is possibly better than me??? I don’t like that, I’m heading to the capital RIGHT NOW to challenge him, emperor as my witness and prove myself better than him. And when he loses and becomes Seimei’s pupil (as he promised) he next gets together with his wife (yes really lol) while Seimei’s off in China to learn his secrets and ends up killing him
I don’t know why people want to try and deny his very obvious enjoyment of others’ suffering (acting like him restoring Danzou’s memory was for anything other than that especially irritates the hell out of me, please reread Onriedo middle chapter of Shimousa) the way I see it he’s humiliated by Seimei, and fails to ever surpass him, to be the one standing above and humiliating him, so he takes to doing it to others, to mock them endlessly and he does find a sick pleasure in it. Da Vinci’s comment about people who will give up everything if it means causing as much destruction as possible combined with his tendency to form fixations on certain individuals is a good way of describing what he’s like. And it’s not something he’s faking or just “playing the villain” he legitimately does find enjoyment in it. His obsession with Seimei consumed and warped him to such a point.
