I can just imagine Tsumugi monitoring the pregame contestants for ideas for V3 like omg this would be such a hilarious concept.

Shuichi sitting alone in his apartment eating 2 minute ramen at 2am bsking in the blue glow of his television, which is the only light coming from his dimly lit apartment.

He's watching an old replay of the SDR2 season of Danganronpa. With a sigh he turns the volume up on the chapter 2 trial. After getting up to the section of "Please Peko... don't go! I need you!" (Fuyuhiko says this to Peko) Shuichi has tears in his eyes at the sentiment.

Tsumugi gets an idea, and crafts Kaede to be his closest ally in the Killing Game. (aside from Kaito and Maki, but that only happens after Kaede dies) So she gives them a similar fate, bringing extra despair to Shuichi who has this intense feeling of Deja Vu as he watches Kaede get executed. It's like he's seen it before somewhere... but he just can't place where...

Also I love the idea that danganronpa merch exists too. Idc how fictional it is, it's the biggest show in the world! Vending machines have been replaced with monomono machines, there are drinks dedicated to characters at starbucks, there are novelty snacks and limited edition soda cans.

I mean c'mon I'd want a red soft drink called "blood lust fever" with a scissor icon on the front. That'd be hella awesome! Or what about "Junko Enoshima's Junk Food Dash!" with gummy lollies representing differet ultimate talents (Monokuma for despair, green clover for luck, magnifying glass for detective).

I'd love to imagine that there are also protests when a loved character dies.

"danganronpa season 2 airing soon!!" and then as soon as Byakuya Togami dies the ultimate byakuya fan literally riots at the unfairness of it.

Or even the Sayaka Shrine being a real thing in-universe. Komaru Naegi escapes Towa city and goes somewhere else and as she walks into the house noticed that his brother's dead crush has photos plastered all over the wall. The house has been long abandoned but the photos somehow still stand. Toko, completely freaked out by this quickly rushes Komaru out before questions can be asked about "who's that girl" and "what happened to her?" and "is she an ultimate student like you, Toko?"

Like I don't care how bad the apocalypse was that Junko caused, there has to be a coping mechanism for these people like this.
