I have a lot of Prinxiety head canons, but here is a few: ❤️💜

Since Virgil is canonically a poet (he mentions writing an "angsty sonnet" in My Negative Thinking), I like to believe that he has a notebook where he writes. And if most of the poems include something about red and gold and acceptance and confusing feelings and doing something reckless just to see someone smile... Well luckily these poems are kept in a secret book that nobody will ever see!

Roman loves painting! He has painted the sunrise, the sunset, Logan's face in contemplation, Patton showing off something he baked, flowers, pretty much everything! But recently, especially after Virgil pushed Thomas to talk to Nico, (I mean how cool was he! So brave!) A LOT of his paintings include purple and sometimes his landscapes have storm clouds and he has tried so so so many times to get his art of Virgil to look right, but it never does! So yeah, a very small amount of Roman's paintings of Virgil are actually completed (but it's hard to match perfection).

One of Roman & Virgil's favorite activities to do together is playing video games. They are both extremely competitive and will spend entire nights engaged in rematches until they just fall asleep. If Virgil has woken up with Roman's head on his shoulder or Roman with Virgil's head on his, they don't mention it. However, Patton has walked in on them asleep a couple times while attempting to invite either Roman or Virgil to breakfast. He tries very hard not to make a sound when exiting the room, but they are just too cute!

After the "What Makes the Perfect Gift?" video, Roman excitedly rambled to Virgil about the $20 he received from Logan, brainstorming what he would do with it. While the event was pretty chaotic, Virgil couldn't think of a better way to spend the aftermath.

STOP this is so CUTE!

In my head prinxiety is very much a "Deer in headlights" kind of crush situation. They have a LOT of feelings but Gosh dang it, they can't help but freeze up. So by having them express their feelings through something so personal like creating, writing poetry and painting, is just so beautiful.

Patton 100 percent thinks they are secretly dating but will never ask. Seeing a sudden influx of rainstorm paintings in romans room was all the confirmation he needed <3 (tho I do think Virgil/Roman will go to him and complain about how flustered they get about their feelings, and v e r y slowly will Patton start to realize they are not, in fact, dating.)

"Patton, I think I'm in love with Roman and--"

"Well I would hope so! He's just so smitten with you!"

"What?"

"Why wouldn't he be? Arent you two dating?"

"WHAT?"

"... What?"

very loosely interpreting the prompt for today but i've had this idea for a while and... secret identities, Superheroes, that works. anyone who knows me well probably could have seen something like this coming LMAO

also trying to draw Robin & Superboy costumes that look thrown together and home-made when i have spent so much time drawing their actual designs was a challenge

its so hard to watch time pass when things like careers and assignments exist. what do you mean im supposed to take that seriously

#I have an assignment that was due a week ago and I really really dont want to do it. I have to but i dont want to #im probably making it worse because my brain has built a wall around it so now i can’t do literally anything else until thats done. but #because I don’t want to do it I’m just kinda stuck. turns out this is what they meant when they said emotional regulation is part of #exec dysfunction.. I’ll have a thought like if I get a little bit of it done now i can get it over with. I can just submit something #and then not even 5 minutes later itll be like ugh but I have to draw all the assets out. I have to write things and make spreads ugh #and its just flopping between those two things. i hate it when ppl are like well how much time do you need to work on one thing #because BOY id love to know too. I’d love to know exactly when my brain wants to cooperate with me and work around that but I cant #even my period can’t decide when it wants to punch me in the stomach. which is kinda funny in the grand scheme of things but still #its so weird im just lying on my bed thinking abt all this like damn.. the time will pass anyways no matter what I decide to do.. damn….#if I submit that assignment now and take the L I literally won’t die. it’ll just be a deduction on an assignment nobody will ask me about #I know this but I’m still stressing myself about it so my thoughts aren’t really connecting to my body. weird #maybe its because Im having a hard time looking forward to things. theres definitely a lot I should be living for but I don’t really feel #a strong attachment to it I guess? it’s been like this for a while with holidays and meeting with friends so I just don’t #I kinda figured its because im pretty passionless and its more like passing interest. but it’s not very fun when it feels like I’m going to #be living distraction to distraction for the next 70 years or so lol #idk it kind of feels like slowly bleeding out. which is funny because I actually did experience blood loss this week #had a 30 minute nosebleed and literally could not stand. also it felt like someone was pinching the back of my brain which was interesting #yapping #does this count as vent #vent #Ive just been making an oc carrd and contemplate changing my blog header for the past 3 days honestly

a great way to combat genAI in the future would be educating kids (and teens and college students and all ppl) on art way more.

#i had art classes growing up but i know a lot of ppl didn't and even less kids get art classes nowadays #we need all kinds of art classes too! music and history and painting and woodshop and drawing and life drawing #i think art history is especially important bc it connects us to our past and shows why art is so important #and all kinds of art classes help kids develop different important skills #like fine motor skills and critical thinking and making choices and noticing details and how to really SEE things rather than just looking #and a lot of art skills like woodworking and ceramics and sewing are all very practical basic adult skills that we should all get to learn #there's reasons arts and crafts and other skill based electives are the first to go and its not just bc they're undervalued #its cause a population that feels capable and confident and skilled and knows how to think critically #is harder to make work shitty jobs for shitty pay #harder to control!#same reason they're banning so many books and trying to make education worse #damn maybe i should learn how to teach better #im already planning to at least try doing a workshop for adults but maybe if i end up liking that #i could work towards being able to teach kids #i feel like teaching kids would be harder cause idk what concepts they do or dont know at whatever age they are #id have to do research and maybe talk to someone who has experience teaching art to kids #but even a simple art class would be beneficial i think #like going outside to draw things in nature maybe #or portrait drawing #or a class on how to make comics or animate on paper to impress their friends lol #i would've loved that!#id have to do that with the help of another teacher maybe #idk #vague future plans #anyway the reason education would help combat ai is cause ppl would learn abt what goes onto making art #all the choices and skills and thought #and they'd be able to more easily see the difference btwn real art and ai images and understand why making art is important

#rambling #surprisingly this is not about jakob.. im just really consistent about my favorite character archetypes 😭😭#WARNING THE NOTES ON THIS ARE REALLY LONG I STARTED RAMBLING #“ouhh i have a headache i'll just lie down and rotate my blorbos in no general direction for a while until it goes away” and then boom.#serious plot considerations. 2 questions answered 24million new questions raised. this is specifically Not what i asked for.#so now im sitting here STILL dizzy running mental calculations on how i can get this bitch out of peril without reworking everything #but they literally keep dying in every timeline 😭😭 every single plausible road leads to them running off and screwing themself over #“character who doesn't realize they want to live until it's way too late to look back” VS #“character who is forced to live and handle the things they never though they'd survive long enough to deal with” FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.#fucking hell i have never had this much trouble writing a character as i have with them #they genuinely do just run off and do shit without my permission and then i have to pace for an hour or two wondering #“ok they wOULD do that. but should they. do i feel like i can confidently write that.”#im like constantly in this tug of war trying to get them to CHILL #but also they are absolutely my favorite character from the entire project. but like.
