A spirited round of spottle, a game using dice rolled in fly dust to tempt the spottle toad.  (Michael Wright from “At the Spottle Parlor” by Rick Swan, Dungeon magazine No 12, July/August 1988)
Guests for tonight's game include Shkad the AWOL lizard man who drank too much leech wine and was separated from his patrol. He hopes to make enough money to bribe his superiors when he returns. Also playing is Gergy d'Ambreville, "a distantly related member of the famed d'Ambreville family of the House of Sylaire in New Averoigne (described in D&D module X2 Castle Amber). Like many members of that family, Gergy is afflicted with lycanthropy. His disease causes him to periodically transform into a wereboar."

Lizardfolk! Strong, tough, pragmatic reptiles standing around 6-7 ft (1.8-2.1 m) tall. They can hold their breath for 15 minutes too! They don't really understand empathy, emotions, or lasting connections without years of scholarly study...but for short term fun that doesn't really matter! Watch out, they bite!

DinoFolk Character Tokens, Part 2 (pt 1 is here)
Another 10 Dinosaur-Folk tokens I made for the D&D game I’m playing in, to fill out the world that Albert Sauros, Noted Spiritualist, comes from. In this case a world of Victorian Dinosaurs. This set of character tokens was made with Midjourney v4.
In your game/head, they can be any fancy reptile-humanoids you like!  Use them for character portraits, game tokens, inspiration for a new PC (or OC) or tag yourself, as you like.
While these are all modified with cleanup and compositing, these are all free to use for anyone who wants to, thus I have not signed these pieces to make things easier.
Prompt format:
a <either dinosaur or specific species>-anthro <profession>, 18th century clothing (or other descriptor), character design, white background, fantasy character art, colored line art, in the style of 1st edition D&D, <artist/style references>
For style references I wound up mostly with a Tony Diterlizzi/Norman Rockwell mashup.

Helloo I'm back from the dead, I gotta remember to post art !
Recently I had the immense honour of being commissioned to make an epic campaign poster by @tallwife and the rest of her D&D party! I'm a huge fan of all of these characters and giving them the spotlight they deserve was SO fun omg.

My lizardfolk pirate, Dirtjaw! 🦎🏴‍☠️ This is the first time I've drawn Dirtjaw with full colour and shading! I'm pretty happy with this, and Dirtjaw seems pretty happy with himself too! 💪 I'm not planning on keeping him shirtless forever though. I do want to design him some clothes, maybe something that actually suggests he's a pirate?

So I’m reading a Coalecroux fic, and it mentioned a shirtless Gideon with his manacles on, and it made me genuinely consider. How the FUCK does Gideon take his shirt off/put it on with the manacles on? Because I imagine he can’t take the manacles off, and those things are BIG. They’re like the size of his biceps, if not bigger. So how the FUCK

And one last fan favorite match today, because apparently I made the pictures but not the poll -_- Sorry for the spam!
On the left, Lizardfolk! These pragmatic reptiles are 6-7 ft (1.8-2.1 m) tall, can hold their breath for 15 minutes, and when they do learn magic it's things like entangle. They don't really understand empathy, emotions, or lasting connections without years of scholarly study...but for short term fun that doesn't really matter! Watch out, they bite!
On the right, the werebear! They have a normal (usually thick and hairy) person form, a larger bear person form, and a full bear form. They're also usually really nice. Most refuse to bite unless the target is a willing companion or apprentice, and will stick with them for a while to help them gain control of the curse. They just love enjoying and protecting nature, doing good out where they can't accidentally hurt anybody.
