Over a year later, I have finally finished part 2 of this art! Originally I had wanted to give him forked ears and a lightning eldercross, but he has a crown that changes shape of his ears if he wants it to, and I felt adding in an eldercross would make the piece too busy.

Gael's Umbermount formal dress~

Following up from this post with Soliana, Gael and the gang got ready for a big gala thrown by Lord Azuron Harcourt, where they all met the rest of Harcourt's family, as well.

Gael was not terribly sure of how to carry herself; she hadn't worn a dress at all since she was a kid, and never one this nice for this upscale a party. At least it fit perfectly and was well-made, she had to admit.

...Still made her uncomfortable to be complimented by vampires though, gentleman of class though he may be...

Artfight 2024 - revenge attack for lilystyx, Emily The Wicked!

I don't think I've ever drawn an actual landsknecht drip before! :D I don't know much about polearm fighting, so the pose is referenced from the video about poleaxe fighting basics. I've tried to do the linework in a way that would emulate a little the graphics in Joachim Meyer's books (it's more visible in a B&W version which is under the cut!). I'm really content with how it came out, especially since I was a little tight on time!

Back in highschool I wrote an adventure-comedy that, in hindsight, seems very DnD (before I knew what DnD was): a party of dumbasses go on a few small quests before they get onto The Plot against BBEG, who turned out to be a former employer in one of those quests. Where they handed him an object he needed for his evil plan. So they set out to fix their mistake, run into a mansion where the BBEG is not, run into the correct castle/tower, find themselves too low level for the threats, get help from high-level characters who only show up and help them for that specific encounter, and then fail to stop the BBEG. The BBEG opens up a doorway to free their god, only for that god to go "nah I don't wanna get up" and close the door. If I was the DM in this instance, I was terrible. My friends thought it was funny though.
