If you've played RPGs for a long time, did you also use to have a favorite class you always defaulted to at one point in your life, and now it's a completely different one?

When I was a teen I stuck to the magic types, especially the darker ones like warlock/necromancer, and now around 30 I strongly prefer fast-paced melee classes with little to no focus on magic like rogue/warrior/ranger

I think the change might have something to do with me falling in love with cardio fitness in adulthood.... I don't have time to study I need SPEED GOGOGO

I hope this ask won't seem offtopic but, as a well-known wow artists, where do you think WoW art community is more active and alive? Tumblr or Twitter? Bc i really want to engage with english speaking wow art community more, but i sometimes feel like there is just few alive art blogs left :(

Tbh I don't browse either that much and can't give you a clear answer, but my guess is that Tumblr and BlueSky are the places to be when it comes to fandom and art

and Twitter still works if you don't mind being around some of the less than savory types of WoW players, I see the most rude comments there out of the 3, and many of us moved to Bsky after their recent policy changes regarding gen-AI

I know why for gameplay reasons, but it bugs me that the undead nightelves aren't Horde. Frankly instead of making them skin tones/eye colors for their base races they should have made them alternate body types for the Undead since they did away with the male/female designation.

Same, when I play mine I constantly fly into Horde territory on accident and get kicked out, cause they don't register as Alliance to me as I write them as Horde-leaning lolll

Also blue faction having more Darkfallen options than red faction feels wrong, could we pls get undead Nightborne in that case to even it out

People liking your personal OCs is still such a crazy feeling, I've been doing this for years and ppl asking about them still fills my entire heart with warmth and idk how to handle it

You enjoy this fictional guy I made up for fun?? Whose only content is random artwork or writing made by me and a handful of other artists at most? They have no show/book/game with a large fandom, it's just one person with an art blog?? I love u

I never play through RPGs with romance arc options because all the characters are too damn conventionally attractive (yes including that one space series with aliens) even if the writing might be really good they don't catch my eye when they all look like a facetuned Instagram influencer

Why can't I wine and dine some pathetic shriveled skeleton creature with a good personality. I can fix them ok
