Some sketches of my own interpretations of fusions for @orange-artist 's fusion au !

I just grabbed some of my favorite characters and smashed them together.

On the left, Yuan-ti Pureblood. The least snakelike of the snake people. They usually only have one or two snake features, like forked tongues or scale patches, but are able to cast Suggestion! Otherwise they're basically just a human. At least it's not to hard to set up the scenario, as they're hiding everywhere, spying for information. The book also feels the need to mention they're traders...

On the right is the Bone Devil! Remember, top 8 of losers bracket got into tournament, this is one of them. 9 ft (2.7 m) tall and probably has enough handholds between the spikes to avoid being stabbed! The stinger is poisonous, and they can see in the dark. They're driven by hate, lust, and envy, and they're the law enforcement of hell. But they actually fanatically follow the law, will immediately turn on their fellows if one doesn't follow the law, and are at least open about being evil. So in some ways, actually less corrupt than actual law enforcement.

They’re mostly Bloodmoon fusions because, uhhh, *gestures around vaguely*

Yeah, here’s some brief information:

Furnace, the local coffee addict; Bloody and Harvest Buck and Styx - Solar

Blazing Shadow, the godly sun; Umbra - Clipsy

Fall Lantern, the straw doll; Original - Jack

Betelgeuse, the starry archer; Hunter - Lunar

Carinae, the starry explosion; Harvest - Lunar

Chainsaw, the killing harmony; Sickle - Buzzsaw

Introducing... An aasimar cleric of light and twilight, Duke Thomas!!!

Now, let me give y'all the deets lol back at the beginning of October, a bunch of us in the Batpham server started sharing and plotting for a bunch of month long drawing prompt challenges. I can't remember the one that inspired this beautiful work of art, but the prompt was essentially "draw your/a character in a fantasy setting" (though I did later realize that there was another prompt further down on that list that actually fit my idea even better, something along the lines of "draw your/a character in a video/table top game"). What spawned was the idea of Stephanie Brown deciding to turn the batboys into DND characters based on their vigilante/antihero personas.

I have plans for Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian that I haven't started yet, but I started with Duke because I honestly couldn't get over the idea of Duke being an aasimar, nor could I get over the idea of him being a cleric of both light and twilight. Each of the batboys will be different races and classes based on my personal understanding of their characters as well as the races and classes in question. If you don't agree with my choices, please! Create your own version of them as DND characters! I'm not saying I'm RIGHT, I'm just saying that these are what I think they'd be based on the knowledge I have lol

Hopefully, I'll actually finish this art series (^-^;)
