“Have you seen my boyfriend?”

TTG!Robin x Superboy!reader

Robin pouted, looking at the side of his bed to not see you. You had came over in his room to sleep with him cause he felt “lonely”. He had a nightmare, so he whispered your name and you were beside him in an instant. But now since he woke up alone, he felt the clingy urge to find his boyfriend. Robin immediately got up, exiting his room and going to the living room. There he sees Raven watching her pony show, “Raven?” He asked as he sits by her. “Have you seen Y/N?” Raven kept her attention on the screen. “No I haven’t seen your boyfriend.” Robin pouted but got up anyways.

Going to the kitchen he sees beast boy and cyborg acting like pigs and mixing up bad food combos. “Guys, have you seen superboy?” The duo could only muffle the words no with the junk food spitting out their mouths. Robin sighs sadly and leaves the kitchen. Starfire seemed to float past the sad boy before Robin immediately grabbed her.

Eagerly, he grabs tightly to the Tamaranean’s shoulders. “Have you seen my boyfriend?!!” He exclaims, eyes widening. He was starting to tweak out without the presence of his boyfriend here. “Ah!” Starfire smiled pointing to the city. “Y/N is getting you the romantic things! He said he felt bad for you last night.” Starfire giggled as Robin lets go of her. Robin’s eyes widened with a flustered look and point his grappling hook towards the window view of the city. “Thanks Star! Bye!” Immediately he grapple hooks away through a now broke window.

Now cut to you, you held flowers and chocolate for your boyfriend who you think is still at the tower. As you go to float to fly high more, you immediately get hit on your back by a body. “Y/N!!!!” You know that yell anywhere when you fell arms wrapped around your chest. “Damnit star..” you mutter under your breath, turning around to see robin have his head nuzzled into your neck. “Robin.” You say softly, you look shock to see a snot face boy with tears running down his cheeks.

You immediately fly off to a secret place where no one can see the crying sidekick. You land on a rooftop, placing the things down and having Robin in front of you. He’s crying with his hands to his face, your hands on his hips. “What’s wrong baby, tell me?” You peel off the hands of the boy, kissing his head softly. He sniffles, “I…I never had someone care for me like you!” He cries again. You smile softly and wipe his tears away, you even got a napkin you had kept for these emergencies.

“Of course I care for you, you’re my boyfriend!” Robin cried even harder which made you sweatdrop. “I love my boyfriend!” He yells out hugging you.

Still not over how well characterized and balanced every character is portrayed in the Teen Titans 2003 series: every single Titan can be funny, dejected, serious, determined, silly, angry, optimistic, vulnerable and tough without major inconsistencies in their overall portrayals.

Huge props to the writers of that show who knew exactly how to give each Titan a realistic range of emotions without deviating away from their basic personalities--it's an extremely difficult feat to accomplish, depicting characters through many different phases and arcs while keeping them consistent, and they did it flawlessly.
