Great poll. It took me some time to decide on the bunger, even though it should've been easy in retrospect. Honestly I would prefer a Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 foodimal to be here instead of it, but I'll take what I can get.

This is such a great summary. I've always specifically hated this style of movement, but I've always appreciated the fact that it's development.

Imo, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a much better use of the movement and still enjoyable (released in 2009, whereas HT1 was released in 2012), but CwaCoM2 (released in 2013) was even more fluid and exaggerated than the first one. Animation is just getting better and better, and every time they have an idea and something must be developed for that idea (huge and detailed hair, lighting through water, 3D rubber hose animation, etc), eventually the results will be incredible.

One of the things that sucks about being an animation nerd is having to live with the fact that, from a technical standpoint, the Hotel Transylvania movies are absolutely ground-breakingly staggeringly incredible.

No but that’s literally what my dumb ass thought.

For some reason, my first thought in regards to Bugsnax was that it couldn’t be based on Cloud With a Chance of Meatballs 2, so therefore CWaCoM2 must be based on Bugsnax. Logic.

Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 is just Bugsnax and I don't know how to handle this information.
