Much like Dream's Fanbase, Viz does not set any clear boundaries nor diminish the behavior of her Fans that will do ANYTHING to remain in the right.
At this current rate I am planning to make a Google Doc dedicated to Documenting all of Viz + Co's complete and utter BS that transcribed over the years. If you have any proof please do send them over on Asks.

a brief timeline of fucking events regarding myself and the studio album "kill the whale" by daniel emond because I'm losing my mind
>get recommended this album by an anon on tumblr
>listen to said album and have an Extremely goodbad time (fedallah and gay people i LOVE YOU, quishmael and the erasure of indigeneity and the Lots of other racist things happening in there i hate you i hate you i hate you
>begin a project to transcribe the album because dear god what are they saying
>find that daniel emond himself has posted the lyrics to reddit
>make a 30k google doc comparing the lyrics of the studio album, the reddit lyrics, and the recorded live performance lyrics (because they are all very different!) with commentary (WHICH I FORGOT TO POST AND WILL BE SHARING IMMEDIATELY)
>get mad, decide to leave a comment on emond's reddit lyrics noting some of my critiques, most notably, why queequeg has been raceswapped and also had much of his story/relationships/plot entirely removed
>get a FIVE PAGE RESPONSE from emond arguing that he did not in fact erase anyone's indigenous/pasifika identity and that he was 'casting for talent, not accuracy bc the characters are "more" than their cultural backgrounds and ethnicities' which is a load of horseshit in my opinion
>notably also in that comment he reveals that the studio album is in progress to be adapted into a full broadway musical performance
>respond again, admittedly meaner this time
>get ANOTHER response from emond, that starts like this
Tumblr media
[ID: A screenshot of a reddit notifications email of a comment from u/Danielhenriemond that reads: "Very busy these days, so much to respond to here. Thanks again for critical insight and questions which have continued to live with me as I develop the project, in particular your inquiry into my vers..." End ID.]
>open the comment to find that it has been completely deleted 🧍so I guess I'll never fucking know
>weeks later emond SHOWS UP ON MY INSTAGRAM (which has no ties to my reddit, he def doesn't know I'm the same person) and comments on my art of his musical
>go to his instagram page to see that the musical is currently in a week-long workshop
>scream
>something has tied me to this musical and i have no knife to cut the line (threat)

hi tem!! 72, 77, 78!!
Ask me fanfic writer questions!
Omg hello!!! Eidnwjdjdj i shouldve guessed i'd get 77 immediately 😂😂😂😂
72.) what do you do if a scene gets too serious?
Generally im almost always aiming for serious on some level, tbh-- thats my favorite thing to write about!! Even while writing comedy, i tend to go for more serious undertones; in the case that im going intentionally for pure humor, though, and the scene comes out a little more serious than intended, i try to dial it back by focusing on banter, adding a bit of humor to the narration itself, and essentially laying the scene out in a way that's intentionally meant to draw your attention to whats supposed to be funny.
On the whole, though, serious scenes are my JAM and i adore writing them, so its not often i run into this problem!!
77.) how do you write kissing scenes?
OH BOY. OKAY. this is the point, i suppose, where i mention the Kissing Seminar.
The Kissing Seminar is a very informal discussion i held in one of my discord servers and later transcribed to a google doc when the topic of how to write kisses came up. Full disclosure: i kiss a lot. I love kissing. Ive kissed a ton of people in my life and i kiss my partner constantly. So when im writing kisses, i am pulling DIRECTLY from my own experiences on how it feels and how i do it (and sometimes i do need refreshers; last time i wrote a kiss i had to pause, kiss my partner for a minute, and then go back to writing. Partner reported being INCREDIBLY confused by the abruptness but was pleased to receive smooches until the next day when i informed them of why, and then they hit me with a pillow SJDNEJDJEJJS 😂😂😂😂)
Anyway, the Kissing Seminar is something ive been meaning to pretty up and post for public consumption time and time again, but havent yet because its just so currently low on the priority list. But it details HOW to kiss, and what to expect, and some options for how to write it if you want to go for something more detailed rather than just saying "they smooched". As a tl;dr, its generally all about body placement, rhythm, and emotions-- and the intermingling between them. If you want to write good kisses, focus on all three of these things, and it'll help you out a lot
78.) how do you choose where to end a chapter?
I go off of instinct, mostly!!! Usually i try to keep my chapters all to a similar length (so for hunger au, im aiming for 4-5k each time), and because i know how long most of my scenes take (about 1-2k depending) im able to round off where things should stop after a certain amount of scenes have been written. Sometimes its not precise, though-- last chapter of litd was meant to have the Pearl conversation fully in it, but Tango ended up being the primary focus, and i couldnt really edit that out without sacrificing a lot. So as soon as i found a good stopping place, i went ahead and finished the chapter.
Good stopping places for me are where a scene naturally ends and begins to transition into a new one-- think like movie clips, or scenes in a play. To continue using hunger au chap 4 as an example, the final "clip" so to speak started with Tango and Grian on the couch, and ended with Tango leaving the set while Pearl took his place. I found this to be a really good natural stopping point for the chapter, because Pearl and Grian's convo is very different from the way Tango and Grian's went, so it requires a different tone and new atmosphere to fully delve into that. I find that when the tone of a scene changes, or something new is happening, or time is shown to have passed in some way, these are naturally good places to stop a chapter.
I think this is often why people will choose to end their chapters with their characters falling asleep-- its a natural transition that people instinctively recognize as moving things forward, so it acts as a way to separate one scene from the next. The problem with relying on that alone though is that it can become very repetitive, so its important to be able to start pinpointing all your transition sentences or paragraphs so you can find other places and ways to end chapters and add in some variety
As with all things, though, this isnt a hard and fast rule; i can think of several ways one might want to lean on that for thematic purposes, or using it as a motif, or just a particular expression of style. Really what it comes down to is what you want from your story, and the best ways to achieve that; a good editor in particular will help you find a way to do that. Wkdnwke sorry this became sort of a very extended ramble, but as a professional editor and a longtime writer i find the subject fascinating and feel like mechanics like this arent really talked about often enough. Anyway thank you for listening to my little soapbox if you read all the way through, and thank you so much for the questions!!!!! :DD

What can a journal be?
this is two things, one is me saying an answer and hopefully the second is some other folks saying other answers.
I want to start with I have been writing in a physical journal again. I am often no at my computer and I really do hate writing on my phone. I would much rather carry around a little notebook and a pen. So, that is what I am doing. I tried doing a google doc table situation, but I found it hard to stay motivated to fill in all the boxes, sometimes I didn't have anything to say, or any energy to say what I wanted. I think handwriting some notes throughout the day is a lot less daunting than writing a summary at the end. But, for those interested this is the setup I was using.
Tumblr media
It was an attempt at simple checking in on when, what concrete things happened, what my body was feeling and how I cared for it, my feelings that popped up throughout the day, and some final thoughts on it all. But, as you might have picked up in that description, not so simple. Also, yes, I did make the google doc page purple.
So, I am back to pen and paper. My pen of choice is currently a blue Pilot G-2 07. This is my mom's favorite pen to use and I have definitely inherited that opinion.
While prepping for therapy on Tuesday, I took some notes to bring in. I made a list of questions for myself and her, I condensed that list into general points: body, vampires, Names of People, serial dumper, over sharing, fear, french accent, shame, etc. I then took those a drew out a mind map, tying together the ways these events/ideas/people were connected to my feelings. It was really helpful to have already mapped out where I wanted to go before going into the 50mins.
I also transcribed some of my work that I had previously typed up. So, while working on my ptsd and trauma this year, I am also writing a novel about vampires. I wrote a head to toe about the vampire's body according to the lore I decided would appear in my book. I then wrote next to it a head to toe of my body. I looked at how I wrote about monsters and myself, and I didn't love the comparison.
While in the session proper, we talked about a lot of things that I won't go into detail about here. But, my therapist brought up a really important point about abuse and grief. She asked me if I was ever mad at my abuser. She noticed that every time I told her details of the abuse I framed it with my own shortcomings. Now, I have been in therapy for almost eight years, and four of those were during and after my abuse, so I knew it wasn't my fault. I had been a variety of feelings about it in the past four years, but in all my notes and all my metaphors, I never was mad at my abuser in isolation, it always came with anger at myself.
So, I took another approach, an epistolary approach! I wrote a letter to never be sent. Pen to paper, I wrote my "sorry's" and my "I don't forgive you's" and I wrote just a page, nothing too detailed or long winded, just a page of the things I would say if it wasn't an absolutely terrible idea to open communication again.
So, a journal can be a google doc table, a page of scribbled questions, a mind map, a list of metaphors, a blazon of a vampire, a letter to never be sent, and it can be a tumblr post.
I won't share photos of my journal here because their are a lot of details I don't need to share with a bunch of strangers, but despite having all these grand ideas about journaling, I have terrible, messy, big, uneven, ever changing, and smeared handwriting. And no matter what people say, or what I think in the back of my head about it. I am very proud to write down my experiences, because I am important. I am a person and even if I have bad handwriting I deserve to tell my story and to use writing to heal. If I ever write a page that isn't too personal I will definitely share it so we can all look at some journaling that isn't perfect and enjoy it together.
But, until then, thank you for reading and I hope to hear about what else a journal can be.

3, 7, and 29 for the fic writer ask? 💕
<3 Thank you for sending this in!!!
3. How do you feel about your current WIP?
Hahahaha so many things I feel like. It's definitely the longest thing I've ever written. It's exhausting but so rewarding. Nell is the most developed character I've ever created, and it's so weird how I feel a sense of duty to her??? Like I feel like I owe it to tell hers and Draco's story.
The latest installments are like superrrr long too, which can be a bit daunting. Like the fourth installment so far isn't even half over yet it's already practically longer than any of the other installments.
I also feel like a bit of stress sometimes wanting to make sure I keep everything together in my head? Like that I don't miss certain components, etc.
7. your preferred writing font
Oh wow this one is funny lmao. I don't have one hahaha I just use whatever auto populates I guess?
The one exception is when I've written scripts (and this is only as of late) where I use the courier stereotypical writing font. (mostly this is to just remind myself it's a script and not to write it like I write other stuff)
But I really am a bit of a heathen when it comes to stuff like this hahaha. I write in my notes app sometimes. I used to handwrite a lot of it, before editing through transcribing it. I probably wouldn't even notice if someone went through my google docs and changed all the fonts tbh.
29. how easy it for you to come up with titles
oh god. tbh I love coming up with titles (almost as much as I hate writing summaries lmao)
I love referencing things and brainstorming for titles. The problem is that I usually can come up with a lot all at once so it can be hard for me to differentiate between bad ones and good ones lmao. but yeah, definitely not so bad.
and when all else fails I usually just steal a song lyric lmao.
thank you so much for your ask!!!!! :) <3

Why You Should Transcribe Your Podcast
You’ve launched your new podcast – congratulations! You’re likely on the lookout for more listeners. Or perhaps you’ve been running your podcast for a while now and want to know how to make it more engaging. Either way, the answer is simple: transcribe your podcast.
Creating a podcast transcription will:
Make Your Podcast Searchable
Make Your Podcast Shareable
Make Your Podcast Quotable
Make Your Podcast Accessible
Make Your Podcast Flexible
Tumblr media
5 Reasons Why You Should Transcribe Your Podcast
Here are five great reasons why you should transcribe your podcast:
1. Make Your Podcast Searchable
This is the top reason. Whether your podcast is new or established, you’re always looking for more listeners. Transcribing your podcast will boost your search engine optimization (SEO) – that magic formula that helps you get found by Google. Audio files cannot be indexed, but the text can be indexed very easily! Providing a full podcast transcription will increase your search hits – and your number of listeners.
Bonus: the actual content in your podcast is more searchable when you transcribe your podcast. If you (or your listeners) want to go back to a particular spot in an interview from three months or two years ago, you don’t have to loop through hours of audio to find the spot. Just search on a few keywords, and you’ll instantly see the info you’re looking for. You don’t even have to remember what episode it was!
2. Make Your Podcast Shareable
You have some great content – and people want to share it. But your listeners, including other content creators, want to send their audiences to places with substance. So your podcast, as great as it is, might look a little barebone as just a link on your website. Encourage sharing by creating an “Episode Page” complete with a podcast transcription, excerpt, or synopsis.
3. Make Your Podcast Quotable
Podcasts that are easier to quote will attract more listeners, too. Often, it is a phrase or a prompt that hooks people into wanting to share your podcast link with others in their circle. However, not all will go through the trouble of typing out that quote. When you transcribe your podcast, you provide those people with ready-made quotes they can copy and paste into their own social media feeds, emails, websites, or wherever. Pro tip: create your own “pull-out quotes” and sprinkle them through the transcript to highlight quotes you think are particularly important.
4. Make Your Podcast Accessible
Millions of people are either deaf or hard of hearing. Why not make sure they can enjoy your content too? Transcribing your podcast opens it up to those who cannot listen. Not only that, many people out there would prefer to read than listen anyway, so you can also capture that audience.
5. Make Your Podcast Flexible
Remember that recording a “podcast” isn’t necessarily the end goal. Your end goal, ultimately, is to share information and (perhaps) entertain. Podcasting is the vehicle you’ve chosen to reach that goal – but it’s not the only way to convey your message. And, best of all, nothing stops you from using more than one. When you transcribe your podcast, you build yourself a new vehicle for a new audience. That flexibility will bring new listeners, allow you to cast a wider net, and ultimately be more things to more people.
How to Use Your Podcast Transcription
Transcribing your podcast is easy. Just contact Preferred Transcription, and we’ll get you set up. Then, you simply upload your audio or video files to our secure servers, and then we send back your podcast transcription in a Word doc or your preferred format – usually within 24 hours. From there, you can copy and paste to your website, create excerpts and synopses, and use pull-out quotes as you wish. It’s flexible, easy, and will bring you new listeners.
Call Preferred Transcription right now at 610-539-9208 or use our email form. You’ll find that when you transcribe your podcast, you’ll open up new worlds for your current listeners while attracting many new ones, too.

last song: bang the doldrums. ive been having several consecutive pete wentz moments as of late last movie: hm I guess lotms? Ive been busy lately havent had time to watch many movies unfortunately but I did a rewatch a couple weeks ago and it was agonizing per usual last show: I finished the bear recently, it was really good! currently watching: I’m not really watching a new show rn cause I haven’t had time but ive been rewatching some of shameless when i do have a minute currently reading: I just started re-reading a little life. Im also reading that long ass doc about Pete wentz and Ryan ross (which is deeply fascinating btw) and ive been slowly making my way through the ft willz pdf. oh and i finally finished we’ve all seen helena which was bonkers insane currently working on: my main project rn is transcribing all the ft willz poems i can find into a google doc to hopefully have printed into a bound book at some point. Its gonna take me forever but I’m pretty excited about it lol. i’m also in the early stages of making some sort of like mcr master slideshow both to show my friends who want to get into them and just to get it out of my system lmao favorite color: choosing favorites is so hard for me but probably green savory/sweet/spicy: i like all of them but if I had to choose probably savory coffee/tea/cocoa: same thing, I like all of them but if i had to choose then tea craving: fresh bread
i tag anyone who wants to do it <3

This is a weird question but how do you plan out your comics ?
It's not a weird question, I think I've been asked this in the past. I'm currently working on a recording of my complete process that I'll put on my Patreon when I finish. I think I can summarize it as follows:
1. I have an idea that I usually put into my notebook, before I can forget it.
2. I transcribe that note into a google doc. Usually, I then edit the dialogue/panel planning, so it's more streamlined.
3. I doodle some thumbnails in my sketchbook.
4. If there's a background with a 3d model, I'll go into Blender and make that, or I'll visit TurboSquid or CGtrader and look for free models.
5. I import that into Clip Studio Paint (OBS and FBX files are best to import), and set up some human-shaped 3d models as guidelines. I don't always use the pre-generated models, but they save a lot of time.
6. After the 3d models are placed, I import the comic's dialogue into Clip Studio Pant.
7. Sketching all the panels.
8. Doing line art over the sketches.
9. Blocking in color.
10. Shading.
11. Double-checking for errors, adjusting shading/colors, adding texture.
