This February is the closest I have come to a full, grand recovery from a lot of tiny wounds to my psyche.

I've found a mature group of female friends, my only sorrow is that they are much farther away than I'd have liked. I find so much time to think of my writing, I'm staying off doom scrolling, I'm much harder to box into a marketing demographic.

I understand the importance of protecting my energy from corporations, I see how they are far more dangerous than a bad friend.

I've made new wallpapers every month since July 2023. They serve as a moodboard for the season, inspiring me, reminding me - but I'm always doing my best to keep them raw, hard to categorise and genuine.

A volte capita di svegliarsi e non avere voglia di iniziare le giornate. Questa è una di quelle mattine in cui sarei voluta rimanere a letto, rilassata, al buio e immersa totalmente nel silenzio.

Capitano quei giorni in cui si trova il senso dell'esistenza soltanto nella natura che circonda l'essere umano, nelle cose date per scontate, ma che sono tutto quello su cui si può contare nei momenti difficili: gli alberi, il mare, il proprio animale domestico, la colazione, le passeggiate, i libri. Quelle cose che restano lì anche nei periodi in cui si è tornadi e non le si considera affatto, ma quando la dinamicità rallenta un tantino e si torna vuoti di quegli impegni opprimenti, ci si rende conto di quanto siano tutto.
