Ace felt like someone poured cold water all over him, his heart skipping a beat as his head whipped down to look at you. A relaxed look on your face while your eyes were closed. The shock of you so casually saying something so… so important was throwing him into a fit of despair.

What do you MEAN you love him? Him? Portgas D Ace? Someone who doesn’t even love himself? What was wrong with you? Maybe you had hit your head one too many times on the headboard when you guys were fooling around. Maybe he misheard you? Yeah that’s what it was! He misheard you.

“Huh?” Ace tilted his head to the side and glanced down at you, your head currently resting in his lap as he played on his PlayStation. “What’d you say sugar?”

You peeked open an eye and gave him a slight grin “I said I love you. You’ve shown me how precious love can be and I’m sorry it took me so long to realize it. Your love is so pure and unfiltered, you’re everything I’ve ever wanted.”

the rage he felt towards his father, the love he feels for Luffy and Sabo, the undying devotion he feels towards Pops… none of that compares to the feelings Ace has for you. You’re the reason he tries to be a better man. Kinder, softer, attentive and gentle were never words that he’d want to use to describe himself, but ever since you came into his life he’s starting to think it wouldn’t be so bad to be all of those things if it means you’ll stand by his side and continue to love him.

“I… love you too Angel.”

thinking about how Eloise took what Cressida said to heart - about how she "rejected" her suit previously and then proceeded to very specifically make the effort to say "and I should like to call on Ms. Cowper" like that's just such a fine detail that drives me absolutely insane and makes me think about how attentive Eloise has become like please!!! please free me!!!

Young Big Bitty comes to Megatron's berth in the middle of the night carrying Chaos Gremlin like a teddy bear with big teary optics. They had a nightmare and woke up Little Sibling for comfort, but it seemed neither of them were recharging peacefully. They wanna come sleep with Megatron like Optimus lets them when they're scared. Every bolt in Megatron's frame wants him to snap at them with his scary warlord voice to toughen up, quit crying, and go back to bed, but one look at them and... frag he can't do it.

His sparklings aren't the heirs he wanted. Big B is a sweetheart to their core, no decepticon teachings could make them unlearn it, autobots couldn't teach goodness like they have, they were a natural born soft spark. Gremlin is rascally and uncontrollable, they may be very young still but Megatron can tell, that thing is going to be a Starscream level terror completely unfit to rule even a fleet of vehicons. He should be harder on them, whip them into shape and break their spirits like proper soldiers, but every time he looks at them and sees their sweet little smiles, the fire in their sparks, the unconditional love and trust they have in their creator, he just can't bring himself to it. They're his bitties, his precious little creations who need their creator to hold them when they were vulnerable and protect them through the night. Primus, he must have been getting weak with age.

He scoops them up and lets them get comfortable in the big berth. The big one damn nearly pushes him out of his spot in the berth, something he's snapped at Optimus for doing before but doesn't find any issue in it when it's their sparkling. The little one lays on him and nestles in like a tick, damn thing burying itself so close to his spark. Wildcard could just be going in to take out its carrier, but of course it's not. It's scared and upset and wants to be as close to the spark they only recently emerged from as it can be. Megatron, already pushed so far by his beloved manipulators, snuggles up to them and holds them even closer. They would be protected by his big frame, his bitties would have no reason to be afraid. He's no sappy autobot, he's been grizzled by thousands of years of destruction and death, but in his own way of showing it, he loves his creations so very much. He didn't feel the need to say it with words when his devotion to them should speak much louder.

But once the little ones were asleep, he could say quietly how much he loved them -🌱

How romantic is that scene? I mean every scene with Johnny and Ponyboy in that church is really gay, but THAT! That was like really high-key gay, but not like, slap you in the face aggressively 'Hey we're cuddling in an abandoned church because we're wanted for murder' gay

More so, 'I've been in love with for a while, and until you came along my life was grey and dull, you brought color into my life' gay

It's such a true and honest moment, so comfortable, it makes me sick just thinking about it-

God I love the outsiders so much, it makes me want to hurl.

not usually a fan of dead wife tropes but severance executed it SO WELL. It wasn't just about building the male character's personality, instead it showed us how raw grief is and how hard mark tried to process it all. The severance procedure was his last resort to feel some sense of normalcy or relief. Even after getting the procedure it's clear his outie isn't capable of accepting it.

We also saw how loved gemma was by everyone in their friend circle and family - which I don't think we see in a lot of other stories with this trope.

AND SHE'S NOT EVEN DEAD!!! SHES ALIVE!!! SHES ALIVE AND HE FOUND OUT IN THE END! it's a terrifying mess but she's alive! Even without their memories they cared for each other because at their core they are good people. LOVE TRANSCENDS SEVERANCE!!!
