If we get our Luigi's Mansion movie, I'm very interested in seeing how King Boo's abilities would translate into a film format.

Bowser's abilities are pretty straightforward: strong, sturdy, has claws, breathes fire. Simple stuff. But King Boo? With that gem in his crown, his powers are kind of nebulous if not extremely OP:

Hyperrealistic Illusions

Telekinesis

Magical portrification

Materializing objects

Disappearing existing objects

Altering environmental physics

Self-duplication

Portal magic

Lightning

Altering the morality of surrounding ghosts(?)

I wonder if a movie would lay down some ground rules about the extent of what King Boo can do, or do something else to nerf him in one way or another.

Maybe I do need Le Mans to be over because if I have to see one more person being like "we need more F1 drivers in the 24h" and "imagine a team with [name 3 F1 drivers]" and "more F1 drivers in this race is how you grow motorsports", I will actually pass away.

F1 drivers are not the most important drivers out there! They would not immediately excel just because they know how to drive an F1 car! Endurance has its own specificities and difficulties! F1 drivers are not worth more than the endurance stars, some of them who have won the 24h of Le Mans more than once!

Okay first of all, process, as always:

I drew this in one day hahaha....Actually really fun! I haven't finished anything in almost a month, and haven't painted for even longer, so I'm kinda dying at the fact that 18th century George Russell got me motivated 😭 Sometimes when painting, I realize I have free will and can actually just start painting over the lineart, and that's the best moment of every drawing process 🙏

Also I'm very proud of his face!!! I've said before, but art progression is such a weird thing. You'll keep repeating to your self "I'm no good at [insert art thing.]" And then randomly realized you can in fact do it. That's me with drawing real people's faces 😭 I'm just so shocked I got his face pretty good in one try!!!

Okay about the pose and quote. God its so fun to misappropriate quotes for my own evil deeds. Both of these are from this one officer from the Revolution: Banastre Tarleton. Idk, I randomly saw his painting in a history video, and it's stuck in my mind ever since. And then yesterday, bcs I spent a lot of time looking at George, I'm like "hey you know what he kinda reminds me of-" and thus we have this.

I just found that quote about him from some historian to be funny, so I put it as a caption, as I would with Napoleon. This won't be an AU by any means but. I think if George was in the Revolution, he'd be the most stereotypical, evil British villain in American media type guy ever. And Tarleton is kinda that guy tbh, to the point where him and others like Arnold Benedict are the poster boys of evil Revolution guys. He even has a mocking nickname! "Bloody Tarleton/Ban", very "Osama bin Russell," no? 😭

Some notable moments from Tarleton's campaign that I think fit George: Apparently killed a bunch of American soldiers after they surrendered, making sure everyone was dead(😭😭), threatened to burn an American general's house down to make him surrender and then took him hostage, went toe to toe with George Washington himself and Washington even taunted him and Tarleton got a shot in, has a helmet named after him(very slayful.)

'A Day At The Races Tour'

🔸Queen's "Crown" lighting rig was used for the last two concerts of the A Day At The Races tour June 6-7 1977 at Earl's Court. The total cost was GBP 50000 and it was the very first mobile lighting rig. It weighed 2 tons.

The lights are the exact same as before but they were hung off the Crown and aligned straight across like the Sheer Heart Attack / A Night At The Opera rigs. The side and ceiling lights were run along the bottom of the Crown as shown in the pictures.

There was a very large screen or fabric material that shaped the top resembling a Crown lined with lights. The rig ascends at the start of the show revealing the stage, and descends at the end of the show covering the stage.

In an ideal domestic Vettonso au, they have a closet that's just for their combined 228 Pirelli(+ Michelin/Bridgestone) hats. Each one has a tag on the inner part denoting who's hat it is and what year it's from(ex. [SV - 2017])

Fernando is extremely jealous of Seb's 2015 Sochi Pirelli ushanka. At least they have matching COTA Pirelli cowboy hats :)

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?  Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.  They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
