WIP Wednesday means I finally start going at something I’ve been stewing on for a while: characters from The Bad Batch as characters from The Blackfyre Rebellion, a conflict that takes place between House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones.

It all started because, upon watching the first episode of TBB, I realized that Daddy Warcrimes Crosshair was a PERFECT Brynden Rivers/Bloodraven. Longer hair, medieval clothes, and boom. That's him. Pack it up, we're done. HBO, I'm waiting for my contract as a showrunner, thanks.

And Hunter? Let's give him the same wardrobe, drop the bandanna, color his hair silver-gold and his eyes purple and....there. There's the beautiful Targaryen bastard prince Daemon Blackfyre in all of his glory.

Oh and these guys are half-brothers, as is Daeron II, who will be played by Tech, and Aegor Rivers/Bittersteel, who is Wrecker, for sure.

The ladies? Their sisters, Daenerys (not the one from GOT) and Shiera Seastar are absolutely Omega and Emerie Karr. With Targaryen coloring. Errrybody getting a silver wig here.

I'm coloring them all in and will post as soon as I can. I needed something out of my Expanse/multiverse world and this was perfect.

the way they naturally fall into eachother's roles when the other isn't there.

the instinctual head-tilt when Crosshair stabilized his rifle on Tech's shoulder, as if they'd done it a thousand times before.

It's the fact that Tech clearly told Phee all about his brother.

It's the sad, fond smile on Crosshair's face when Omega said Tech made her memorize all the plans ("of course he did").

It's the way Tech knew exactly where to look for that mirror.

Ever notice why Crosshair never pilots the Marauder?

It's because he's taken it out a few times. By himself.

To go to battle? To explore? To just really upset Tech? NO.

He'd gently buckle in his Firepuncher rifle, who is named Christina/Cassandra/Xuxa/OP's mom, and proceed to drive that ship all over with just him and the rifle riding shotgun.

Why, everyone asks?

"Because my baby girl wanted to go for a ride with her daddy and see the sunset," purrs Crosshair as he strokes the rifle's stock with a little too much enthusiasm, "Baby loves long, romantic rides with daddy, right, sweetie?"

::cue Tech having a screaming meltdown behind everyone's backs, scrubbing the Marauder's interior down and then hiding the keys from Crosshair FOREVER::
