Vex opened Percy's bedroom door.

"Percy, we need to get ready. Scanlan agreed to something on behalf of Vox Machina again." Vex leaned against the door frame and watched as the lump under the blankets sit up. Percy held his stuff raven, affectionately named Sir Birdsworth, to his chest. Vex sighed as she saw the blue bedazzled paci in his mouth.

"Oh Percy...I'll go tell Scanlan that you're too little right now and I'll stay behind to care for you." Percy looked up and did grabby hands at her, tears forming in his eyes. Vex quickly crossed the room, leaning down in front of him and using her thumbs to wipe the tears away.

"Hey, I'm not leaving you. Can you be brave for me while I go talk to Scanlan?" Vex asked. Percy frowned and cried more, very much not wanting to be alone now that he latched onto someone.

"You're just too cute. Bet you're glad I can hold you too." Vex picked Percy up who snuggled into her arms, still holding onto Sir Birdsworth. As she made her way to the others, she thought about what to do with the little lord.
