Don't belittle yourself by saying that your drawings turned out bad because your drawings didn't. Yours are great, they even turned out good, even though you were in a hurry and I like your style. Your duck drawing style is still at an excellent level unlike others. Keep it up in the future! 😊

Thanks, I use mostly styles from Italian comics, which I really like, especially styles from Giorgio Cavazzano, one of my favorite comic artists. I also put some of the covers and pictures he drew and it just inspired me to draw in my own way. Although Cavazzano learned a lot from Romano Scarpa, he still did it his own way and inspired many to make drawings using his styles. I also like other styles, so I combine them in my own way. Yes, although there are times when I'm not in a hurry so my drawings don't turn out bad, although it depends on my mood and where I end up.

Maybe one day, when I'm more perfect at drawing, I'll do a tutorial for many how to draw Disney ducks the right way. Thank you for these compliments and I appreciate it. :D

P.S. What I do is unique, please don't copy my ideas without mentioning me. Thank you! I say this because there were some who copied me and took my ideas without mentioning me, which I really don't like. It's not about you, it's about those who use my steps. Although, if I inspired someone to draw like me, I like it. But again that's just my opinion.

caterina's datamined character description calling her korean-italian and early lucanis designs having him look east asian . i'll just do everything myself i guess

assorted thoughts: caterina is fully 'korean' or whatever the thedas equivalent would be in this design, and clawed her way to the top of the crow food chain after years of work. their armor is something caterina forcibly incorporated to distinguish house dellamorte from the other crows, and a symbol of their status because they get it custom made or imported. of course race-equivalents do not really exist in thedas or this world but i also will never forget how gaider just implied (east) asian people don't exist in thedas because it just so happens that there are no asians on the continent of thedas (guy who forgot about boats) . explode and die. there's not the same kind of discrimination as exists irl ofc (and the dellamortes are actually treated fine, much better than a mage or elf) but a level of xenophobia against foreigners from a different continent. illario looks the least like her, and passes for being fully antivan, which changes how he is recieved by the other crows.

so i have software on my computer that changes the letters Y / n into my IRL name ( for fanfic activities ofc) , and it took me so long to realise that the AU name was Y / N star and not my IRL name 😶😶😶 i was just thinking " YOOOOO they got my name thats on TOP."

Oh i gotta friend who told me that she had a browser extension that does that! I remember looking into it but there doesn’t seem to be an equivalent for mobile (where i do most of my doing)?

Yeah lololol I was using “y / n” as like a title for Star, as in they’re that type of character within the story. Personally I don’t like to use “y / n” within the writing itself cause I find it kinda takes me outta it? If you know what I mean? So I’ve tried to get around it by giving “y / n” a nickname—“Star” (points for creativity amirite) but it’s essentially just become their name at this point.

Tbh i use “y / n” and “oc” semi-interchangeably. Star essential functions as an oc (albiet one very much like myself). They have specific interests, a vague background, and a personality, and when I portray them visually, they have an explicit appearance. I don’t think bald blank slate 🧑‍🦲 y / n works well in the semi-realistic style my drawings trend toward 😂

eyy,, i made a pokétrainer oc !!!! been trying to design them for nearly a month, i think- only managed to finalize her design with some help from some friends,,, sksmsknsjs. lineart isn't mine, btw!! instead made by my friend sap @pinesented my good friend sap. colors are by me, tho! (and no i definitely didn't just steal the color palette from the gender-fluid flag, bc i am. so good at colors).

anyway this is malachai last-name-pending and he specializes in dark/ghost types <3. she looks scary but really they're pretty chill and just a bit introverted. prolly messes with tarot cards, too,,,
