Character A is being cradled in Character B’s arms, trying their best to stay conscious and not succumb to injuries as Character B begs them to stay awake. As their consciousness leaves them they hear Character B cry out them name of an (maybe dead) ex-fiancé or SO, not their name.

Long story short: Character A looks similar to an ex-SO of Character B -  the two are close in their own way. Character B in the panic of seeing A go unconscious accidentally calls out the name of their ex-SO.
