Currently I have 3 fics in Planning for Blue Beetle fandom.

1. Spine of Steel- body horror, the scarab does a-lot without really saying anything. “Ignorance is bliss… right up until it isn’t”- ONE SHOT

2. Eons of Connection- soulmates-platonic, and the slight shift left that this causes when Jaime has the name “Khaji Da” written in alien script on his arm, and Khaji Da has been picking up on senses and memories while dormant for 22 years.

3. try again tomorrow- Khaji Da woke up to a newly captured subject of Reach. Reach then learns the grave mistake of giving the plucky earthling who just graduated with TWO degrees, psychology and computer programing, an “unfeeling AI”. Jaime’s years long hyperfixation on AI and how to fix the Doom Protocol comes in handy.

Feel free to ask me about any of the above, I have never really planned multi chapter fics, normally I fly by the seat of my pants. Like please give me interaction i feed off it, and knowing someone will be disappointed that something isn’t continuing will make me actually schedule time to write into my day.

For those not tapped into Australian politics, King Charles is in Australia to conduct his "historic first tour to the commonwealth realm" i.e visting countries that King Charles is supposedly a monarch to.

Indigenous senator Lidia Thorpe had requested an audience with King Charles for weeks prior to this visit, she wrote countless letters to speak to him. Unlike other commonwealth nations and other former Brisitish colonies, a treaty with Indigenous peoples in Australia was never formed. Their land was never ceded to the British Crown. After being denied and ignored, Lidia Thorpe, draped in a traditional possum skin cloak, stormed in the Great Hall during the reception for Charles at Parliament House in the capital shouting the following:

Bow-wow's make perfect fizzgigs. Like. Imagine Links awakening bow-wows. The one who you can give a little pink bow, and the giant one you have to save from moblins💀 its perfect

Here's Bow-Wow as a ginormous fizzgig and fizzgig as little chain chomps! So many of the creatures in Thra are really detailed and are organic in shape or sharp and chitinous. And then imagining running across a chain chomp, just- here's a gigantic perfectly round sphere. It would be incredibly absurd. I love it.

Thinking about that potential Prince!Legend fic and....

I just get this image in my head LOL

Knights are supposed to follow after the nobles they protect, to guard their backs. Legend, meanwhile, tends to walk at the tail end of the chain's party, likely for the same reason, possibly because he has trust issues and doesn't like showing his back to others.

So, I'm just imagining Warriors (or Wild) falling back to walk behind him after they find out he's noble, because that's what knights do! But Legend doesn't realize what they're doing, and so also falls back to walk behind them a moment later, which simply won't do, you know, since it leaves him unguarded.

So the knight in question falls back again, this time at a distance, but Legend, unaware of their intentions and thinking there's maybe some threat back there? Does the freaking same thing!

And It Just. Keeps. Happening.

A bit out of context, but the main thing is that this is AU, where Cesar's alternate is not evil (and Mark is alive, too), which leads to complicated relationships with… "Gabriel" (aka Lucifer, for this universe)

upd: adding this note because it's important to clarify, and I don't know how soon I'll draw anything new — human-Cesar is also there! Furthermore, his presence is essential since au mostly focuses on his relationships with alt. "Cesar" (besides, he'll get his own name eventually).

So there are actually two Cesars in this drawing, not Cesar and Mark :')

Thank you cass, your series has really created such a happy little fandom that I find is not my safe space. You have inspired thousands of artists and if it weren’t for you. A lot of people wouldn’t be where they are now. I’m excited to see what else you make, rise or not. You’re an incredible person and I’m glad I was able to follow along this comic. It truly gave me something to look forward to.

King Candy… Cane?

My version of King Candy! And finally talking about my AU:

While he remains an unstable character (I mean, he still took over Sugar Rush), he has more compassion for those around him and is constantly haunted by the guilt he feels after the incident. For 10 long years, Turbo has been hidden in solitude and is desperate to race again. It’s in his code.

When he sees that a new racing game has been connected to the arcade, he decides to infiltrate it, this time with more caution. He modifies the code to his liking, inserting himself into the game and using an unused character as his avatar.

As King Candy, he explores his new realm and eventually meets Vanellope. As he observes her, he notices that she is a glitch and witnesses what she has to endure every day. KC feels guilty, knowing that it was ultimately his fault that she ended up in this state, and he decides to take her under his wing.

At first, he is reluctant to get attached to the young racer, but as he gets to know her, he realizes that they are not so different; there is something about her that reminds him of himself… and the twins.

Over time, he adopts her, and for the first time in a long while, Turbo feels like he belongs, even though the weight of his past still haunts him.

He is still very controlling of everything in his kingdom, making sure everything stays in order, but he wants to be a good king to his people. He is very paranoid about another unplugging and acts overprotective over the game and even Vanny.

I love a good villain, and I love to challenge myself to rewrite said villain to have a redemption arc.

First doodle I did of him. Decided to change his color palette to something more Turbo-like, keeping the red and white ande re-using them to make a candy cane pattern!

A Linked Universe meets The Dark Crystal AU! I don't even remember what started it at this point. I remembered that the Dark Crystal and Age of Resistance are things I like, blinked, and woke up three days later with an AU and a bunch of art.

The designs and the story are a wip and for fun so expect a lot of variation! (I have a few different beginnings, ideas for different designs, etc)! :D
