You're not even sure why; but your mind decided to be a menace and start racing with thoughts on a random Wednesday night. The red glare of the alarm clock shows that it's 1:39 a.m., and the minutes keep ticking up. You've tried different positions and breathing techniques, but none were getting you to slumber.

Just when you consider getting out of bed and making yourself a cup of tea, Eddie stirs awake next to you. His brown eyes flutter open, and observe that you're very much awake, staring up at the ceiling.

"What's wrong?" He asks, voice sleep-laden and husky.

"Can't sleep. It's fine babe, go back to bed." You whisper back.

"Mm." You should've known that your boyfriend wasn't going to accept that answer, because seconds later, you find Eddie hovering over you, palms resting on either sides of your face. You feel his breath fan your cheeks, still minty from his toothpaste.

Eddie leans in, gently bringing two fingers from one hand to trace the profile of your face. The fingers trail their way down your neck, your chest, your stomach, when they finally slip past your underwear, and into your core.

"Eddie, what are y-oh."

Eddie starts leisurely pumping his fingers in and out of you.

Your eyes screw shut, and your head falls back against the pillow. Your hips start grinding against Eddie's fingers, somewhat of their own volition. Eddie crooks his fingers and not long after, you come with a moan, back arching towards Eddie, in the softness of the night.

Eddie takes his fingers out of you slowly, before leaning back in to give you a kiss on your lips.

You feel his hardness against your back, and as your eyes finally slip shut for the first time that night, you plan to give Eddie a thank you in a similar way in the morning.
