Quig for some reason believing Aqua Axolotls wasn't a team this MCC, suggesting that perhaps NoxCrew switches it up every so often??? Sir???

"I have a mute button, so I can give that a quick press every time I'm coughing up a lung." -Martyn

Quig mentioning he has 4 dogs, Eret saying that's too many dogs, and Quig saying actually, that's ~four~ many dogs
"Does Sapnap's skin have nipples?" -Martyn
Martyn discussing the his pattern of dodgebolts, as he's been in dodgebolt twice before, both times on Orange, both times he's lost, and both times a teammate did a wildly improbable shot
Quig removing his shades, which then prompts Eret to demonstrate how she can transform into Herobrine with a single click of a button
"I'm being gaslit this entire MCC, I thought I was supposed to trust me teammates!" -Quig
"Have you ever played in this event before?" -Martyn
"A- almost all of them!" -Quig

Quig repeating the whole way through that communication is where it's at! Communication is what we need!
Finn constantly having wardrobe and technological malfunctions throughout MD
The incredible communication during MD, with Orange winning two rounds in a row!

"Is this just calling me old, we have to help the old man with his Zimmerman up the stairs?" -Martyn
"It was payback for the years of entertainment." -Quig
Finn running past the team in the Hall Of Fame while they stand in front of their statues and everyone screaming at him that they're right there! Right here!
Martyn clarifying that it was not his wife who ran in screaming happily, he has Covid, she would not do that
Martyn planning on buying a "thicc chain" to put the MCC coin on
Quig deciding to put the coin on his Orange Ocelot stuffed animal
Orange Ocelots finished MCC 23 in 1st place!

TRICKS OF LIFE — STEVE HARRINGTON
Tumblr media
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐢. — 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫
Overview: Will Byers, a close friend of Y/N herself, although in high school, was missing, setting a sense of concern for him, wondering what could’ve happened as being interviewed by the police themselves. We continue to dive deeper into the girl’s life to the connections of some familiar boys.
Navigation — Mixtape
Doodles, words, and weird figures were being scribbled in the sturdy notebook, with the thin pencil marking the surface of the lined paper. Class was even more boring now that Y/N couldn’t bother to pay attention to her U.S. History class, vividly in her daydreams of where one of her close friends, Jonathan Byers could be since he never showed up that morning, the teacher decided to speak up, snapping her out of her thoughts.
”Miss Hopper, would you like to elaborate with what Tammy said?” He cleared his throat, standing next to the girl’s desk all eyes on her. Y/N frantically narrowed her vision to the board, feeling a sense of unease when everyone watched her intently. Her E/C colored eyes shifted from right to left, feeling a ridiculous amount of pressure starting to well on her chest. Breathing in and out, she squinted at the chalkboard, focusing on the big letter written on the board, The Holocaust. An eerie silence grew into place, maybe a silent cough held in the background. Y/N’s palms became clammy, scrambling through her unopened textbook and unwritten notebook. Stumbling through her words in the awkwardness, the door of the classroom swung open to find the principal of the school, in a fine suit.
The class’ eyes shifted from Y/N’s mess to the lady, standing by the doorway, “Can I have Y/N Hopper?” Now her heart dropped to her stomach, was she into deep shit now? Maybe someone had caught her smoking this time. Was this going to be another accusation someone had made? If her dad heard about this, she was definitely going to be toast.
The eyes were now back on Y/N, worrisome, she rapidly crumpled her sheets of paper along with the textbook into her plain backpack. She slung it onto her shoulder, keeping her head low and meeting contact with the principal who guided her out of the classroom as she closed the door behind them before walking by the empty hallway.
“Am I in trouble?” The girl nervously bit her lip, looking down at the squeaky floor, the principal moved her glance to see Y/N looking so timid.
The principal shook her head, putting a reassuring hand onto the girl’s shoulder, “No, you’re not. Hopper, one of the most intellectual students we’ve had here in Hawkins High. In fact we need your help.”
Without asking any questions, Y/N’s eyes widened, a smile forming on her lips. The walk to the principal’s office was a bit uncomfortable, as none of them spoke along the trail. Finally getting to the office’s door, they opened it to find her dad along with his handy dandy partner, Phil Callahan, whom Y/N had been very close with since the beginning of her life when Hopper first got his job as chief of police. Giving a little wave for politeness,  the principal directed the girl to sit down in the chair in front of her.
”I really regret to inform you but, Will Byers went missing the other night,” The principal’s eyes saddened, turning them up to the two police officers, “And from what your father had said, you saw him that night.”
Oh god.
Will Byers was missing. No, not will. Not will. Why Will? Will was just a friendly kid who loved to play D&D with his friends Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson under their basement for neverlasting hours. The wizard, the position he played, the shy, bubbly and nerdy kid who trusted her no matter what. Will, Will Byers was missing.
“Steve’s a twat!” A middle schooler climbed down the stairs in the Wheeler’s residence, to find four slightly younger boys sitting on a couch, having a board in front of them. Curious, she kneeled beside Nancy Wheeler’s younger brother, Michael, “What are you guys doing? Some magic trick or what?”
Mike looked beside him, to find one of Nancy’s friends observing the board with the tiny figurines placed on top. Without precaution, the curly haired boy that was sat in front of him spoke up, “It’s Dungeons and Dragons!”
“Wow, that’s cool, I don’t know what that is,” She brought her knees to her chest with her arms wrapped around them. The boys’ eyes fell onto the girl. What was she doing here? Shouldn’t she be with Nancy?
“My sister is upstairs by the way,” Mike cringed a bit, to find the girl being ever so intrigued by what the boys were up to on a Wednesday night.
Y/N turned over to the younger brother, then to the other three boys, sitting in silence, “I know, but I’m sick of her talking about her boyfriend Steve. I wanted to see what you were doing.” Quietness began while glances were exchanged, the girl leaned closer and directed the boys to do so as well, she hushed, “Don’t tell Nancy, but sometimes she’s boring.”
Lucas and Will both looked at each fondly, as the rest nodded their heads in agreement when Mike spoke up, “Finally! Someone notices for once!”
Dustin shakes his head in disagreement, the boy gave an obnoxious smile, “No, Nancy’s awesome!”
The group of laughter, turned to Dustin who was smiling like a freak. Lucas snapped jokingly, “DUSTIN LIKES NANCY OOOOOO!”
“What? No I don’t!” Dustin’s face turned beat red while Lucas chased Dustin around, imitating a few kisses with the weird noises. Mike got up to stop the two from hitting each other and creating a racket in the living room, the three seemed to have began a rumble, while the quiet one cheered them on with laughter arousing him.
Y/N nudges the quiet boy, smiling towards his direction, “They’re a lot to handle huh?” The boy nods a little bit, after hearing the “Dustin I love you” and “Kiss me Dustin!” mimicks from Lucas, giving smoochy faces. “Aren’t you Jonathan’s younger brother?”
The brunette boy with the bowl cut nods again, trying to shout in between the shouting induced by the three boys fighting in from of them, “I’m Will!”
”Oh! That’s good! Your brother is in Mr. Clark’s class with me!” Y/N laughed, seeing Lucas and Mike stack on top of tiny Dustin squirming below them. Will and Y/N signaled to join the stack, feeling Dustin start to giggle hysterically while Y/N began to tickle his stomach. All of them burst into laughter in the stack until Nancy came downstairs to ruin the fun.
”MIKE WHAT THE HECK?!” Nancy shouted, pulling giggly Y/N out of the bunch of first graders tumbled on the rug, “Leave my friends alone for the hundredth time!”
After seeing her being pulled away, Y/N wiggled out of Nancy’s grip, stepping away from her and seeing the boys suddenly become so serious, “Nancy, I was already hanging out with them. They’re cool.”
”What?” She felt frazzled at the remark, then heard Mrs. and Mr. Wheeler coming in after a night out. Both looked satisfied in finally having a night out together due to taking care of their children and working.
“We didn’t know Y/N came over! We hate to have the boys alone here sometimes,” Karen Wheeler sat on the couch as the boys broke apart and sat in their own space in the living room, Y/N standing along with Nancy.
”Maybe you should get them a babysitter!” The H/C colored girl suggested, putting her hands on her waist, “They’re lots of fun to be with!”
”Be our babysitter!” Dustin stumbled to get up, jumping up and down, exclaiming. The others chimed in as well.
Lucas nods along, ”Yeah that would be great!”
”You would be the best babysitter in Hawkins!” Will chants, earning Mike’s agreement too.
Mrs. Wheeler laughed at the excited boys surrounded tween Y/N who seemed heartfelt to have people that want to be around her, “It seems like a great idea, I’ll talk to their moms and see what they think. I’ll let your dad know tomorrow.”
Squeals from the seven-year olds filled the living room, when Karen had considered the request, it had already been late and their moms would be at the Wheeler’s to pick the boys up back home. While Lucas slipped on his sweater, he shouted, “At least my babysitter doesn’t have to be the old hag Mrs. Wilson!”
“TRUE!” Dustin laughs along with him, while Will follows behind to find Mrs. Sinclair waving from the sidewalk standing beside her car with three year old Erica Sinclair, wanting to throw a tantrum to be let go from her mother’s grip. As Lucas, Dustin, and Will left they all chanted in unison, “Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!” To plaster a cheeky smile on the girl’s face.
Never in her entire life has this girl felt so.... accepted, liked, included for once. Something the bratty kids of Hawkins Middle School had felt towards the girl. This felt like something new, something new with a long trail of friendship. Totes to the new babysitter of these boys, whom they enjoyed being around with, no matter what

WARNING : I'm just an addict ... addicted to music. There are people who are born to make music, o8 thers are born to hearing. Whenever was part of this second group. Maybe it's. a habit, I gotta use, even if it 's rock, jazz or the quiet storm. Great pictures of the things I love - music, painting, books, photography, architecture, design, women, and more. I love music more than lasagna. Better to burn out than fade away. The older you get, the better life gets. But time also seems to be accelerating, the clock running too fast. So, looking at those early days, everything is very slow, stretched, and great significance. The most recent time, I spent busy with simple things.People think rock and roll is only about teenage rebellion, but why can not exist old rebel too? Across The Universe (Paul McCartney x Female!Reader)
A/N: Yeah, I’m totally about to drop this, and a new chapter for TCND today. I don’t know how many of y’all like the Beatles, but I wrote this, and wanna see if anyone will really want another part.
OKAY SO I’m gonna say right now that I do not own, or are affiliated with the Beatles in any way (RIP), and this story is based off of/ heavily inspired by the 2007 movie Across The Universe, but the main characters, Jude and Lucy, are represented as Paul and the Reader. All of the characters mentioned, or are in this chapter (Other than Vick) are either real people, or characters from the movie.
Although all of the descriptive writing is mine, the concept was taken from the movie. A lot of the writing here has been altered from the movie to better fit the characters and situations they are in. I’ve added/ changed parts that weren’t in the movie in the first place, and I left a little out, again, for the purpose of the plot to kinda make more sense. This fic will be more focused on the relationship developing between the two love interests than in the movie, so lots of iconic scenes from the movie (Such as Prudence’s first scene, Jojo’s introduction to New York, etc) won’t be included in the fic, though those characters will make appearances at some point.
I will make up for the lack of content there with more scenes of Paul and the Reader interacting/ in situations that didn’t happen in the movie.
I advise you watch Across The Universe, or have already watched it before you read to prevent spoilers, bc there will probably be a lot of those. (Watching it when high makes it even better tbh, there’s some trippy stuff in that)
A L S O , In this AU, the Beatles do not exist, although it is set in the 60′s!! Paul is legit just a 23 year old guy who wants to see the world.
Summary: Paul decides to head to the United States; You say good bye to your boyfriend before he leaves for Vietnam.
WARNINGS: Swearing, mentions of War, Mike McCartney calling Paul out on some bs, probably a couple of grammar errors bc it’s like... 5:30 AM where I am, and I haven’t slept yet :)
This little fic will be rated T. just because of the swearing
Tumblr media
Prom went just as you'd expected it to: You had a nice meal, and did some wonderful dancing with your boyfriend. Despite the blisters on your feet from your shoes, you disregarded them as a temporary memory of one of the last times you'd see Daniel before he took off for the war.
When he got the letter in the mail, he opened it in your presence. Up until the day he died, he felt guilty for making you one of the first to know of his draft.
He cried in your arms for a long while, and you put all your strength into holding your tears back to bring him comfort in such a difficult time.
America had only just entered the Vietnam War, and it didn't seem real to any of you until the day Daniel got that fucking letter.
After talking it over with him, Daniel proposed that the both of you should just enjoy the remaining time you had before he'd have to leave.
And that's what put you here, in the passenger seat of Daniel's car, his mouth leeched onto your neck as his fingers tangled themselves in your hair.
"My mum and dad are home," you explained gently; solemnly. Daniel pulled away from your neck, instead moving to rest his lips on your forehead. "Of course."
He pulled away completely then, stepping out of the car and moving to the other side to hold your door open for you.
You stepped out, and Daniel interlaced his fingers with yours as you both walked up the drive to your house. The both of you listened to the clicks of Daniel's shoes on the pavement-- you were barefoot, your heels hanging from your fingers.
When he'd brought you up the porch, you turned to lean against one of the house's banisters. Daniel saw the look on your face, the one that just screamed 'please don't leave.'
"I'll be home soon," he said confidently, reaching out to squeeze one of your hands. "They give you a furlough after boot camp."
"And after that?" You never got a verbal response. Daniel just wrapped his arms around you tightly. You squeezed your eyes shut, and hugged him back with all the strength you had.

And at this time, across the Pond in Liverpool, England, Paul McCartney was walking home his girlfriend Molly, who he'd been out at a bar with all night, drinking and dancing to the live bands said bar had to offer that evening (and morning).
"Who'll take me out next week? You'll be halfway around the world." She threw a glance over her shoulder, and all Paul could do was offer her a cheeky smile.
"Well it better not be Phil Scully."
Honestly, Paul knew he deserved the shove Molly gave him not moments later, but he just threw his arms around her with a laugh as they turned down her street.
Paul tried to slip into his back door as quietly as he could, being sure to force a fake cough so he could discreetly lock the door.
He was finally safe. He took the time to puff out the air he'd been holding in his lungs, and he rested his forehead against the door.
"... Finally back, I see?"
Paul cringed.
Fuck.
"Yeah... sorry, Dad."
Paul turned around, and sure enough, there his father was: at the table, an empty plate of crumbs sitting in front of him, a cup of tea in his hand, and the Liverpool Echo in the other.
"Your brother just got home, too," Mr. McCartney mumbled as he brought his mug to his lips.
"He was with his girlfriend."
"I was, too," Paul defended as he opened the refrigerator and snagged an apple off one of the shelves before kicking the door shut and leaning against the counter.
Mike, Paul's brother, had just stepped into the kitchen with the same intention as Paul: getting breakfast.
"Mornin!'"
Paul nodded his head to his brother, mouth already full of apple.
"But I know who Mike's girlfriend is, James."
"Ooh," Mike smiled wickedly. He'd come in at just the right time. "Yeah, James, Dad knows who my Bird is."
Paul cringed a little at the name. James. The only people he really allowed to call him James was his parents.
"I just haven't... found the right time to introduce her, 's all," Paul excused after he swallowed. To avoid saying anything else, he went in for another bite of the fruit.
"No, it's because I actually love my girlfriend," Mike chortled as he popped a slice of bread in the toaster by Paul's arm, which just resulted in a playful shove from his older brother.
"I love my girlfriend," He argued back.
"But have you even told her that?"
Paul rubbed the back of his neck. "Well... not exact--"
"Point proven," Mike pointed to his brother, eyeing his father proudly.
"Look, all I'm saying, James, is that clearly, if you're stalling an introduction, you don't plan on keeping her 'round," Mr. McCartney explained.
"Dad, it's... it's complicated." Paul was rubbing the back of his neck again before taking another bite from his apple.
"There's just no point in wasting your time with someone you're just gonna throw away,"
"Whoa whoa whoa," Paul put his hands up at his brother's comment. "Who said anything about throwing anyone away?!"
"Well, you are going to America in a couple of days," Mike pointed out, grinning widely as his toast popped. He moved around the kitchen for a knife and some butter from the table.
"You really gonna stay with her when you're gonna have all those single American girls around to choose from?"
Paul didn't answer. He just shoved the apple into his mouth, rolled his eyes, and moved to the other side of the room, where the staircase leading upstairs was located.
He took a seat on the first two steps as he continued eating away at his breakfast.
"Paul, when I was your age-- maybe even younger than you, I met your mother. I knew she was The One after our first date. I took her home to meet my parents immediately."
Paul waited patiently for his father to get to the point.
"If you're not bringing her 'round, maybe she ain't the right one. Just think about it."
No one really said much else. Mike had started eating his toast, and Mr. McCartney turned his attention back to the paper, so Paul went upstairs.
He shut the door to his room when he arrived, and sighed happily at the sight of his bed. He climbed right on without taking his coat off. He kicked his legs up and stared at the ceiling as he finished off his apple, tossing the core into the waste bin next to him.
He understood where his father was coming from, and maybe he was right. But, Paul wasn't exactly looking for a long-term partner like all his other friends had done after they graduated from school.
Even Mikey had hopped onto that gravy train.
Paul was twenty-three. He still had plenty of time to find a girlfriend and settle down. That's why he decided to take off to The Land Of Opportunity. He wanted to get out and experience what it was like outside his dreary hometown before he devoted the rest of his life to a wife and kids, and living as a boring, stereotypical family until the day he died.
Did he have a Visa to legally work in America?
Fuck no. But it's not like that was gonna stop him from finding some form of income, whether or not it was technically legal.
Paul sat up in his bed, turning to peer into his closet.
He was pulling his suitcases from there moments later, and he unzipped all of them to begin packing. There was nothing he really needed to pack rather than his clothes, cigarettes, passport, a photo of his mother, and a small notebook containing all the phone numbers he'd had to keep over the years.
His cousin's number was the one he was particularly packing the book for. Paul managed to convince him to make room for him at his place he shared with his friends just outside the Princeton University Campus, where he was currently studying.
"You're a lifesaver, Vick" Paul mumbled as he tossed the book into one of the suitcases, and zipping it back up.
_____________________________
"Sometimes I feel like you're not tellin' me everythin'," Molly mumbled as she pulled away from the swelling kiss Paul was trying to leave her before he parted for America.
"I just need a break from here, Molly. I'll be back before you know it," he tried to comfort her with his gentle words, but she just looked upset.
"N'd a break from me," it sounded more like a statement.
"Don't be ridiculous," he offered a smile, but when she didn't really react to it, Paul slipped his fingers into her hair, and threw it behind her shoulder.
"I'll be missing you by tomorrow,"
"I bet," she mumbled, eyes fixed on a pebble on the sidewalk between her feet.
Paul pinched her chin, and tilted her head so she was looking right at him. He looked more serious now.
"I'll write home everyday."
"You better."
"N'd I'll send all my loving to you."
And that's all it took.
"You bastard," Molly tried concealing her grin, but Paul had her wrapped around his finger, and she gave in to his charm.
And not long after, she was giving into another one of his desperate kisses.
_____________________________
"I promise, every day I'll write, babe. I love you so much," Daniel rushed his words out between quick kisses he left on your lips, his hands squeezing your own tightly. He pulled away soon enough to give you a smile, and then the car he was in started driving away.
His hands slipped away from yours, and you suddenly felt cold.
You wanted to chase after the car, but your feet stayed glued to the road. Your heart felt strained as you watched the car drive off and around the corner.
Good-bye, Danny.

My thoughts on Kingdom Hearts 3 that nobody probably cares about.
Because I wanted to. And I was kinda tired of seeing reviews online that were giving it crap just for the sake of giving it crap. (Of course not every review.) And I wanted to look at it with a more positive note. I did mean to do this a while back but I kinda... forgot? I did beat the game during the first three days of it’s release.
Tldr version: Is it a perfect game? No, it does have it’s flaws. Did I still enjoy myself playing it? Heck yes.
The rest is under the cut for spoilers. I’ll try to be brief on every subject so this wouldn’t be super long.
So I am a big kh fan, as you might guess. I grew up with it and because of the game series I’ve had the chance to meet people who have become very important to me. So this game, it does mean a lot to me.
First of all: Game mechanics.
I really liked the combat system. It felt really natural and had a good flow in general. I loved the keyblade transformations. The attractions were really pretty,  although I didn’t use them often. But I admit there were some that I really hated. The water one and the blaster one. But as soon as I realised that I could skip them out of the way of a keyblade transformation they were all good with me. I mainly just used them on enemies that were really annoying to me. *cough Gigas cough.* I did enjoy most of the minigames as well, even if the some of the flans were the bane of my existance.
The difficulty of the game was a bit odd. It was.. rather easy. Granted, I did play it on standard mode because a: I wanted to have a more relaxing experience for the first go and b: to get through the game as quick as possible to avoid spoilers. But now that critical mode is here, oh boy. On standard I never saw the death screen. But on critical, I saw it three times during the first 5 minutes.
2. The worlds
The worlds were absolutely beautiful. If I would have to say what my favourite one was and which was my least favourite, favourite would be Corona. It was just so beautiful and while it did follow the movie, it was still very sweet to see them interact with one another. Least favourite was probably Monsters INC. It’s just my personal preference, but I wasn’t that fond of the whole world just being one big factory. (That I may have gotten lost in multiple times.) But, what saved that world was Vanitas getting owned by Sulley and Mike. And the fact that it was set after the movie.
For the plots of the other worlds, BH6 sorta happened really fast for me. Though I did love how Sora interacted with the group and how the got inspiration from him to become stronger. Caribbean plot just sorta... happened while I wasn’t there? But it made up for it by the setting and Jack defeating Luxord with a breath. And seeing Sora starting to beat up Davy Jones when Will was dying broke my heart. Olympos was really sweet for me to see the interactions between Hercules and the gang. I just loved their friendship. Even if the glorious Phil never got to say a word. Toy Box was good, even if I hated Gigas. But the pain from them was mended by Woody basically saying what sounded like “Well I guess you were never loved as a child!” to Xehanort. Arendelle was plotwise a bit... meh. I didn’t dislike it but... I just climbed up the same mountain like three times.  There’s not much to say about Twilight Town other than the fact that it was really pretty and I loved that it was so full of life. I Although I do hope that it would have been bigger. I was a bit sad that Radiant Garden wasn’t a world that we could visit.
Keyblade Graveyard doesn’t really count as a world as much, it’s just more of a battlegorund. Bonus favourite world: Scala Ad Caelum. I loved the look of that place so much, and the music was breathtaking. I just wish that they will do more with it in the future. Like a multiplayer dlc where you get to do missions in the whole city. Please Nomura. Please. Another bonus favourite world: The Final World. I loved the whole aesthetic of it, being absolutely beautiful. Plotwise I was at first a bit confused about the whole thing that happened there but I think I do now understand what was going on. (And the whole scenario that happened aroud it. And the whole going back in time.) I loved the individual stories they had given to each star. Plus the Lich was an interesting concept.
3. The Plot
So. The plot. I would be lying if I said I had no problems with it. It did make me cry out of happiness a lot of times and I generally loved it. But there were some problems. I suppose it would be the best to say perhaps the biggest annoyance I had with it.
Kairi. Not Kairi the character herself, but more of what happened to her. It did annoy me a lot more before, but as time has passed I have accepted it more. I was dissapointed at how she basically became a plot conveniance for Sora to do certain things. Now that I think about it I am more okay with it. Kairi was never really a fighter. Her strenght comes more about guiding people into the light as she did in kh1 with heartless Sora, in kh2 her meeting with Roxas (although debatable in that one) and now in kh3 she was the one who kept Sora from fully fading away. Even with all that, I don’t think it’s wrong of me to say that I wished for more. I hope that in the future they would be able to use her more than just as a plot device.
The other thing that annoyed me in the plot was the points which were clearly there just to set up the next game. But I think I can forgive those as long as kh4 doesn’t take as long to make as kh3 did. There were some points that just opened up more questions than answers but I’d still say I do have a pretty good understanding of the whole KH plot.
The thing that I didn’t expect to happen was for me to like the villains as much as I did. For example, I never really thought much about Luxord before, but he really grew on me on this game. The same goes for the rest of the organisation as well. Those who I didn’t care for before or didn’t like that much, their final moments or their atonement really made me see them differently. And knowing about Marluxia’s past through khux and his connection to Strelitzia, I really did feel bad for him. Talking about Strelitzia, I do believe that star was her. Although her voice was a lot older sounding than I thought it would be.
I was so happy saving all the trios and I was teary eyed a lot. And the ending just made me so happy. Until the point that Sora disappeared. I was annoyed at why did that happen a bit, but the (I think) relatively recent statement from Nomura which referenced Sora’s abuse of the power of waking and it’s consequenses has helped me understand it more. As long as I don’t have to wait like ten years to save my cinnamon child I’m good. And I do admit, the Xigbar reveal did catch me off guard and does make me exited for the continuation of khux and the following games. Although I do wonder how confused the people who have never played khux were about it
A quick note about the music: The soundtrack was beautiful. As expected of Shimomura Yoko. I did hope for a few more new original tracks for the final bosses, but to be fair it was also very satisfying to hear new renditions of the characters themes from the previous games to fully give closure to those characters and their arcs.
Overall, kh3 wasn’t a perfect game and I did have my problems with it, but I really did have a good time playing it.

Couples Costumes
So Halloween snuck up on me this year because it’s fucking tomorrow and I kinda forgot about it with all the things on the news. I had a handful of Halloween related posts that I wanted to post and while I managed to get a few done, the ones that require some photoshop work are still on my ‘To Do List’. Clearly, I went a little overboard with my post here posting 45 Halloween Costumes above (I am counting the classic Batman Costumes and the Wayne/Garth pics as just two costumes, so yes my math is sound).
I WAS planning to do a Velma/Shaggy or Salt/Snail costume with my S.O. but I am remarkably alone yet again, woe is me and my pity party. ^_^ Not being a downer, I promise. *Slaps Cheeks* Back on topic, Michael! You're rambling again. Yeah so here is a list of costumes. I might make another list next year but let's be honest the best couples costumes will be on this post. If you have your ideas/suggests I love to hear/see them in the notes.
Cartoons
Ash & Misty (Pokemon) - Kind of a classic costume these days as they are both iconic. Who wouldn't want to see their girlfriend in some jean shorts tiny yellow tank top? Misty can be switched out for sexy Pikachu.
Bob & Louise (Bob’s Burgers) - Lots of great characters in the show but none better than Bob and Louise (sorry Tina fans). This would be a fun outfit to host a party and cook burgers. Just a thought.
Birdman & Birdgirl (Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law) - Fun costume for Adult Swim lovers. I love for my girlfriend to do that inner monologue out in the open the way Birdgirl does. I could also switch Harvey out for Phil because “Ha Ha Naughty”.
Max & Roxanne (Goofy Movie) - Simple costume with some paint on the nose and select clothes. I suspect only the 80′s thru 90′s kids would make the connection but the Z Generation has proved me wrong before.
Wanda & Cosmo (Fairly Oddparents) - Not my favorite costume set but one that would be fun if we had a kid who we were fairy godparents too.
Curious Georgia & Man in the Yellow Hat (Curious George) - This is all the excuse you need to jump on my back or my front or my bed.
Alice & The White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland) - Alice in Wonderland has lots of males to dress up as between the March Hare, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and more. I am sure you girls like options.
Lilo & Stitch (Lilo & Stitch) - If I had four arms the sexy stuff we would do in bed but I don't sadly. However, I can make a great stitch voice not that a cartoon voice does much for you.
Jack Skellington & Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas) - I might be too broad shouldered for this sort of couples costume but if my partner is willing I am game.
Mavis & Jonathan (Hotel Transylvania) - Mavis is perhaps a little to cute. I mean kind of a strange crush on a little vampire girl, so yeah I am not against someone cosplaying her for me.
Nick Wilde & Judy Hopps (Zootopia) - A little bit anthropomorphizing of Nick and Judy but they got good chemistry and so do we.
Spinelli & T.J. (Recess) - Not to take an innocent toon in a wrong direction but you know they probably smoked weed in high school together and T.J. convinces her to wear a dress for prom but no doubt still has her boots on. They make a cute couple to say the least.
Finn & Fionna (Adventure Time) - Heroes of Adventure Time! Sadly (not really sad about that) I am not blonde but we can always up on some
Velma & Shaggy (Scooby Doo) - Yet another cartoon crush. I like a nerd and a little thick Velma.
Fred & Wilma (The Flintstones)  - Costumes are epic enough being basically caveman tunics. I can get behind this costume more if we had a Pebbles or Bam Bam to take out trick or treating.
Movies
Black Widow & Captain America (Avengers) - If I could afford it I would be Stark. If my hair was longer I would be Thor. Perhaps Hawkeye would be a better pairing. Regardless Black Widow is a woman among many men. This means you get your pick of which hero I dress up as.
Sam & Suzy (Sunrise Kingdom) - Kind of a hipster approach towards Halloween but sometimes being a nitch audience is ok.
Max & Furiosa (Mad Max) - If my girlfriend had a buzzed head, (for whatever reason that was) Mad Max would be an awesome costume to do together.
Mask & Tina Carlyle (The Mask) - I am a big Jim Carry fan so any excuse to dress up as his characters is a win. Camren Diaz was also smoking hot in this film.
Ash & Sheila (Army of Darkness) - Ash is pretty badass and the number 1 reason to dress as him is to have a chainsaw on your hand and double barrel shotgun on your back.
Dorthy & Scarecrow (Wizard of Oz) - I can also be a Tinman or Lion for your pleasure. That and you can be a green witch... no, I think prefer Dorthy.
Mary Poppins & Bert (Mary Poppins) - This costume would be so much better if I could sing or dance but I can't so I won't.
Aragorn & Arwen (Lord of the Rings) - If I find a woman into the Lord of the Rings (and Game of Thrones) she might be a keeper.
Harry Potter & Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) - Am I the only one who is upset Harry didn't hook up with Hermione? Am I the only one upset Emma Watson didn't hook up with me? Am I rambling? Should I shut up now?
Peter & Gamora (Guardians of the Galaxy) - Might easily be my favorite couple in the MCU. Gonna be a long night painting my girlfriend green.
Beetlejuice & Miss Argentina (Beetlejuice) - Again painting the girlfriend green and myself white! I suppose you could be Lydia and I can actually do a great impression of Michael Keaton's Beetlejuice.
Morticia & Gomez Addams (The Addams Family) - I would pay Thing if I could but sadly I can not disembody may hand and have it run around. I will have to settle for Gomez but your free to pick between Morticia or Wednesday.
Wayne & Garth (Waynes World) - Playing to males? Meh sure. I loved this movie and I don't mind some cross-dressing for my partner. Just gonna be weird when Wayne makes out with Garth.
Shows
Burt Macklin & Janet Snakehole (Parks and Rec) - I am a special agent on a mission and your a wealthy widow with a secret. Only Parks and Recs fans will get this and that's just fucking great. Two rules though we don't break character and if I find a Johnny Karate, I must fight him.
Dexter Morgan & Hannah McKay (Dexter) - Might have been one of the hottest love scenes in a TV show ever. This costume works well with the plastic wrap and doubly fun to take it off you later.
Eleven & Mike (Stranger Things) - Pretty adorable couple on screen. Not sure about Season 2′s ‘rebel’ storyline in the city but still awesome all the same. I can't wait for season 3.
Batgirl/Catwoman & Batman (Batman Show) - I’m Batman. *Coughs* I mean I am dressed as Batman. The 1960′s Batman costume were simple but fun. Woman didnt look bad at all in their costumes either.
Daredevil & Electra (Daredevil) - I may keep it simple with the black mask and black shirt combo over the body armor. The good thing about those Marvel shows is the outfits are basic as hell.
William Riker & Deanna Troi (Star Trek) - Loved the TNG. Loved Star Trek. Can't go wrong with simple clothes and the Starfleet badge.
Comics/Video Games
Wonder Woman & Superman (DC Comics) - Open to interpretation about which Superman or Wonderwoman we are dressing up as. I have to admit the Wonder Woman movie costume was awesome.
Batman & Catwoman (DC Comics) - Few romances have ever been so ‘Cat and Mouse’ or rather ‘Bat and Cat’ than that of Batman and Catwoman. The skin-tight body suit and whip make Catwoman all that much alluring. You can decide if you want to go TV show, Cartoon, Comics, Video Game or Movie versions of Selena Kyle.
Rogue & Gambit (Marvel Comics) - A man with deep love and a woman who can never be touched by him (at least skin to skin). This is some Shakespeare level tragedy for this lovely duo.
Spiderman & Black Cat (Marvel Comics) - What can I say its the costume on Black Cat...
Link & Zelda (Legend of Zelda) - I am totally open to also as playing as Ganon if you want me to capture you and tie you down to the bed.
Misc
Mimes - A whole day of not talking to one another and miming shit out?! Sounds horrible lets just talk in private when no one is looking.
Fireman & Dalmation Girl - Who’s a good girl? Who’s a good girl? You are! Yes you are!
Little Red & Big Bad Wolf - I won't lie 90% of the reason this costume works is that it leads to sexy time in the bedroom.
Waldo & Wanda - We go to Good Will, buy a bunch of random junk. Write Property of Waldo on it and leave it around the neighborhood all night long. We can set up a Waldo themed house so people can bring items back to us.
Snail & Salt Shaker - Oh ho ho am I clever? Probably not someone has been bound to make a costume like this before. I think it be fun for you to avoid me the whole part as I walk around as a Salt Shaker.
Frankenstein & Bride of Frankenstein - Classic movie costume and its really all about the hair for the bride. I can imagine this being a big hit with the kids and fun for a monster movie night.
Regards Michael California

The Three Laws: An Artificial Short
“I’m thinking about getting a job with the police. Apparently they’re hiring.”
“So we haven’t replaced you in that sector yet?” I asked, chuckling.
“Not yet apparently,” Mike laughed, cracking open a beer, “From what I’ve heard, law enforcement AI’s are some of the hardest to design correctly. They’ve got enough kinks at least that the city likes keeping more human officers on hand--” Mike coughed, his eyes flashing to me with an embarrassed look, “Natural, biological humans, sorry.”
I waved a hand, our sign of no offence. “It’s fine, what’s their problem anyway? I’m a cool artificial detective who deals with dangerous criminals all the time and I’m just fine.”
Mike snorted, smiling crookedly at me. I could practically see the image in his head; me as a law enforcement AI, firearm deployed from my wrist, standing stoic, staring down the barrel of some gangster’s… You know what, that is pretty funny. I’m just a loser with a camera and a notebook. “I’m kidding,” I said, returning his crooked smile. Michael had been facing forward, his eyes reflecting the golden lights below. I never really thought about how we’d made the roof of our apartment building our main hangout spot, but then again, the way it made our cares fade away was the reason we came up here. That and Mike said it was the best place to have a beer, not that he could ever explain why. I watched his body recline into the folding chair he brought to the roof, condensation from the bottle dripping down his hand. None of these details were important, I suppose, but my mind tended to take them all in anyway. At least the world was quiet up here, the only light a glowing field beneath us. I guess the peacefulness is why I’ve never been overloaded on a rooftop, which is more than enough reason for me to like it. I looked forward, same as Mike, eyes losing themselves in the dull glow of the city streets, “But, you mentioned some problems. Now what are these problems exactly?”
The body across from me fidgeted slightly in its chair, Mike’s nose wrinkling slightly the way it always did when he was thinking. “Well…” He began, his tone less lively than before. He laced his hands together, “I’ve told you about my friend who works at the police station, Phil—he’s the one who recommended I get the job. Anyway, he was telling me about how the law enforcement AI’s they had were having problems with programming, 3 laws conflicts and that kind of stuff.”
I felt a strange anxiety begin to crawl in the back of my mind, images and sounds working their way up from my subconscious, bubbling at the edges of my vision.
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
The words coursed through my mind unwanted, like a scolding received years ago, but without a time or place attached to it. I just remembered always hearing them, recited to me sometimes as jokes, sometimes as verses of law, but more than that, I could always feel some inkling of them in my code.  To an artificial human, even the mere mention of them brought a strange, fearful reverence.
“So apparently, law enforcement AI’s are supposed to protect the life of non-artificial humans at all cost, meaning that if one person has a gun aimed at the other, their code will force them to disarm shooter by hitting them in the arm or leg, but avoid anything vital. The thing is though, this extends to suicide.  Meaning that if a law enforcement AI sees someone with a gun pointed towards their own head, they’re going to try to immobilize or disarm that person to protect them. The AI doesn’t even have a choice to stop it since there are lives on the line and their reflexes have to be perfect.”
Michael bent forward and took a long drink, taking the time to savor the taste, or perhaps just prolong the short silence. Him and I both knew where this story was going however, “A couple of weeks ago though, this law enforcement AI was on patrol. She was really good too, from what I hear. Apparently she saw someone cleaning their gun on their front porch. They had the barrel pointed towards their face just a little too long and it just triggered that code… Apparently  she tried to stop it too, but it was just one of those things that’s hardwired, y’know?”
“Oh, oh god.” I buckled, my midsection crumbling like I’d been punched in the gut. My mind tracked back through the reports I’d read, the debates, the news stories I had playing as white noise in our apartment. The week of the shooting, there’d been talk of “The Uprising,” a fictional event that non-artificial humans, especially in politics, were obsessed over. So many claimed that the unprovoked shooting of a teenager in the projects was proof of police brutality from an AI, and therefore proof of an AI’s capacity to hate and show prejudice. Proof that we were rebelling against humans. I remembered hearing the voice of the AI on the news. Hearing her plead for innocence against a wave of screams for justice. This was all over an unforeseen programming loophole.
I thought about times when I’d been faced with programming conflictions, 3 laws conflictions. A night at the subway station came to mind—I remembered how and old man was wandering dangerously close to the tracks and how I’d rushed over to try and stop him, only to crash into him, nearly sending us both into the pit. Images of newspapers, talk shows, and caustic sound bites with my face plastered over them began to fill my vision. Is that really all it takes, I questioned, queasy at the thought, To become “one of the bad robots” they talk about on the news?
“That’s… Horrible…” I groaned.
“Just horrible enough to get me a job.” Mike replied, holding his drink out in front of him. The expression on his face was dull, unreadable. I usually liked that feature of Michael; he was nearly as poor at displaying emotions as I was, or at least nearly as oblivious. But now it made me feel more scared than anything. “Was that…” I hesitated, “A joke?”
“Oh no, I’m sorry, sorry, sorry!” He blurted out, his free hand gripping his head, squeezing it, “That wasn’t supposed to sound like that, I was just--”
“It’s fine, it’s fine!” I waved my hands in front of me, just ready to change the subject. “It’s just that stuff like that kind of gets to me, and it’s been happening a lot more lately… I followed her story, and apparently she’s getting repurposed. She’s on the stronger side so she’s probably going to be put in construction or maintenance, but I don’t think she’s going to be happy. Sorry to be a downer, but it’s a story I hear more often than I’d like, I guess.”
Silence fell like a heavy blanket over the two of us, smothering our intent as we turned, lulled by the soft glow of the city lights. Staring off like this was easier than conversation after all. Just watching as the streets glimmered,  lights coming on and shutting off both naturally and unnaturally, predictable but unknowable.  A bit like a program, I thought.
“Those stories…” Michael started, pacing himself with another sip of his beer, “Do they have any happy endings?”
I smiled, looking off into the streets below, “Well… I’m hoping mine does.”

Jenny’s Belated Live Blogging - 15 February 2018
- These were such solid, wonderful episodes. Go Martin and Isobel!
- The Sandy and Maisie (Look I learned her name!!) stuff continues to be super cute. I’m sad to see him go but I think this is a lovely way for his character to leave.
- David is still the goddamn worst! Ugh. I mean, arguably creepy Phil will be worse but David is pissing me off so much right now. Ugh again. I hope Tracy will be okay and that Vanessa will be there to look out for her.
- loved the little Vanity mention just to keep that consistency. I guess I know partly why Vanessa is going to want to make Charity jealous next week.
- The Ross stuff was really good in this episode. When do you ever get long drawn out scenes with a therapist? (*Cough* why couldn’t we have gotten more Aaron in therapy scenes *cough*) But I thought it was really effective to hear him go on that journey. I think they’re doing great with his part in this storyline and Mike’s performance continues to be really good. I do hope he learns the truth soonish though.
- Debbie Debbie...well I mean, I don’t really feel too badly for her but the whole situation does suck and it’s certainly not the result she wanted/expected so I do have some sympathy but still...
- some good old Cain kidnap and a beating. Good times. Still, nice to see him back at the farm and kissing Isaac before he goes out to threaten people.
- The Liv stuff is just lovely. I know Gabby’s not going to take this Jacob like’s Liv, Liv might like Jacob stuff well but she’s been pretty amazing so far in her reactions. But Jacob is soooo sweet. God that last scene with them. So good. I’m so happy that she has him in this. And I liked the little inkling that Aaron knows something is up. I’m looking forward to him getting more involved and supporting his little sister.
- The Robron stuff. God it’s such a comedy of errors rom com, it’s amazing. I love it, especially knowing that Alex is getting dumped next week. I love that Robert straight away was like ‘hey we need to talk’. Aaron being defensive and then just being confused by Robert telling him that Alex is good for him is just so them. Haha. I love that Aaron was going to choose Robert right there in the street. I love that it took Alex maybe accidentally being responsible for a death to make Aaron stay with him a bit longer. I love how annoyed he looked at the prospect. The scene with Robert talking to Vic was so sweet because he was so excited at the possibility and he looked so crushed at the bar when Aaron brushed past him. Aaron probably couldn’t even look at him because he would have broken his resolve already.
- I love Paddy having a role in this. It’s so nice to see that again. He’s getting involved but he’s not pushing Aaron. It’s almost like old times again and I’m so happy. And I love that Paddy knows that Aaron doesn’t want to be with Alex, he knows it’s always going to be Robert. I love that he’s seemingly fine with that too. Ahhh I just love it.
- Onto the REUNION!! I can’t wait!

(Harringrove fanfic) Chapter three
Hawkins, Indiana
March, 1985
Chapter three - The Daymare
In the woods, Steve felt vulnerable. The branches on the looming, skeletal trees always played tricks on his mind, especially in the thin layer of fog that clung to the dewy grass that day. They looked like hands, skinned and bony, and when one would occasionally brush against his skin, it felt cold and wrong. Steve wasn't a vulnerable person, he'd fought monsters from an upside down version of their world for Christ's sake. (Though he couldn't win a fight against a human being). But after it was all over, after he'd dropped all the kids off and returned home, it all kinda just overwhelmed him. He was fine for a moment sitting on the side of his bed, then he just started sobbing hysterically and was shaking so bad it hurt his muscles.
He told Hopper about it, and Hopper had explained to him it was similar to "Shell Shock". After that and Steve admitting the awful nightmares he'd been getting, Hopper had told him to go to a therapist. The therapist was a guy called Russle Kelly and he'd been recommended by Sam Owens. Russle knew the story and was under the same contract as everyone else who knew about the situation.
Russle had diagnosed him with PTSD, post-taumatic-stress-disorder, and had been given Prozac and Prazosin for medication. Steve was nearly finished with his psychotherapy and would start his 6 to 8 weeks of Cognitive behavioural therapy in a few more weeks.
Steve didn't understand why the experience had effected him so fucking badly. Nancy and Johnathan had been through just as bad, but they only seemed to get the occasional nightmare. Will was even doing better than him, and thank God for that.
It was like he'd taken all the trauma that they'd suffered onto his shoulders; and, if he was being honest , he'd have it no other way. Cause if they were happy, Steve had a reason to be happy. Billy helped a lot. When he'd wake up screaming and crying and punching in the night, Billy was always there to comfort him.
When they arrived at Castle Byers, Steve was a little nervous. He'd walked at the back of the group, his nail riddled bat spinning in his hand. Dustin was holding onto the two cans of paint, Lucas carrying the tool box and Eleven was bearing a cardboard box filled with trinkets and photos and materials. (Several times Mike had suggested to hold it for her, only for El to shake her head dismissively).
"Here we are, Castle Byers!" Steve announced, shaking the anxiousness of monsters away and allowing the delight to warm him. They cheered gleefully and immediently they began to work on the fort. Steve assisted them with the hammering after Dustin hit his thumb with the hammer. (He'd wrapped Dustin's red thumb in a blue pokodot plaster, he'd kept the packet they'd slipped in his pocket after the fight).
Lucas and Max repainted the signs, Eleven sewed the curtains and American flag back to perfection (she'd been practising) and Mike, Dustin and Will filled in the holes in the walls of the castle. Steve watched for the first twenty minutes, helped out with the building periodically before he decided to join El with the sewing. He knew how to sew, his grandmother, Matilda, had taught him when he basically lived with her.
He pretty much lived with Matilda and Phil, his grandfather, from the age of 4 to the age of 13. His parents had dropped him off with them the minute he started walking and probally would've continued to live with them if Matilda hadn't died and Phil hadn't gone looney. His mom had said that to him, and that's when Steve realised he really hated his parents.
Steve had pricked himself twice, deep and quick stabs that drew blood from his middle and pinky finger. El had patched him up two flower plastas.
"Billy said he loved you," Eleven reminded him happily and Steve looked up from the dirty white curtains, he chuckled quietly.
"Yeah, he did.... I mean I've always known he's loved me, it's just actually hearing is so.... real? I don't know, like everything is just so..." Steve pauses and bites his lip.
"Clear," She filled in the gap with a pink smile and Steve nodded, drumming his fingers on his thigh.
"What... What do think... his friends are like?" El asked in broken English, Steve shrugged as he began to stitch a rip in the curtains together.
"Well, they sound nice enough. They support me and Billy so that's a good thing, and Billy says their pretty cool," Steve replied as he threaded the material, but the end of the silver thread had slipped through the eye of the needle. He got up on his feet and turned around to get more thread from the box, but he tripped an arched stick and fell to the ground.
The second his face made contact with the leaf strewn ground, the world flipped.
Steve scrambled to his feet and he became still, like a statue with a pulse in his neck. Steve was in the Upside Down. He was still standing before Castle Byers in the forest and everything looked fucked. The sky was a malevolent black, the shadows in the trees swooned around him like wraiths and vines, thick and rotten, were splayed on the dead floor like the earth's veins. A terrible coldness swept across Steve and he looked around desperately, fear sinking into his chest.
He turned to the fort and his heart was no long in his chest, it was in his throat. The curtains at the entrance were shredded and stained in blood, like a wild animal had attacked it. The ground from his feet to Castle Byers was like a path, like someone had been dragged across the ground. Against his better judgment, he slowly stalked towards the entrance to the fort and his heart was beating like a running rabbit in his throat.
Curling his fingers around the edge of the curtain, Steve held his breath and threw it to the side with a pause of his heart. He stumbled inside at the snap of a twig and the fort seemed like the side of room.
And there it was: the Demogorgon. At first it just stood there, swaying like a drunkard, dried blood stained it's faceless head and it's arm stretched out towards him. Long, scythe like fingers caked in crimson lightly grazing the skin on his cheeks.
Slowly, it's face began to open like a blooming flower and the maroon crust of dried blood flaked off. The fanged-petals fanned out, a black hole leading down it's gullet like the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland, leading him to a Hellish dimension.
It roared. He screamed.
......
Billy, Bobby and Ginny heard the scream that tore through the woods.  It was shocking, scary and blood-curdling. And it didn't stop.
Billy didn't hesitate to start sprinting through the collums of trees, and Bobby and Ginny followed hastily. They chased towards the screams, those horrendous shrieks of pure terror that was making Billy's heart shatter. Because he knew that was Steve screaming, but he'd never heard Steve so fucking scared and that terrified him.
"Steve!" He yelled desperately, the response he got was more screaming and the sound of the kids, calling out to Steve as well. When they saw the outlines of the kids, the fort and Steve in the fog, they charged faster towards them.
Steve was stood with his back against a tree and was pointing his bat at something invisible in front of him. It wasn't the kids, his wide eyes were staring at some invisible thing that was 8 feet tall and probally absolutely terrifying. Bobby and Ginny came to a stop while Billy ran in front of Steve.
"Billy! Be careful!" Max called as Steve swung at Billy, he jumped back and Steve cried and shrieked.
"Steve, listen to me! Calm down, it's alright!" Billy's attempt to calm Steve down only seemed to make him go ballistic.
"Go away! It'll kill you!"
The brunette raised the bat behind his head and brought it down to the ground, hysterical and almost falling to his knees. Billy caught him, hands cupping the sides of Steve's face and he noticed how wide his eyes were. Two black orbs with thin brown rings circling them. It was scaring him. Big tears streamed down Steve's face, that was deathly pale, and his chin and lips quivered.
"Steve, can you hear me? I'm here Steve, I'm here... It's okay," Billy spoke soothingly and brushed his thumb over Steve's cheek. The pupils in Steve's eyes slowly shrunk and Steve seemed to be finally see reality, that fear still their but less than before.
"B-Billy?" Steve sputtered quietly, relief washed over Billy and he sighed, nodding.
"Yeah it's me, I've got you, It's alright Princess, I've got you," Billy responded softly.
"The kids? Where are the-"
"They're fine. Steve, they're fine," the two sank to their knees, cause Steve had basically no strength in his legs left, and began to sob uncontrollably into Billy's shoulder. The blond stroked his hair and kissed his neck, he was trembling in Billy's arms and he felt so cold.
"Easy Princess, you're okay and the kids are okay, you just need to breathe, alright? Can you do that for me, Darlin'?" Steve struggled at first, coughing and wailing for a minute before he was quiet and breathing deeply.
"There we go... there we go, you're doing great, Steve," Billy smiled, and he looked up to see everyone watching. The kids looked worried and frightful and Bobby and Ginny looked freaked the fuck out and concerned and confused.
"What happened?" He asked, Steve was basically catatonic, and Dustin shrugged.
"I don't know. He like tripped or something and then he stood up and looked freak the Hell out. He didn't respond to us and then walked over to the fort and just started screaming!" Dustin explained, panicky and afraid, and looked like he was about to cry.
"He got his bat and just- God it was fucking terrifying dude, he just started swinging at something! It was like he was having a nightmare but awake- a Daymare" Lucas exclaimed frantically and Billy licked his lips and compressed them together, breathing out. Will stepped forward a little.
"It was like when I had my episodes, I'd be doing something then I would just be there," Will said quietly, Mike and Lucas nodded in agreement.
"But why would it happen to Steve?" Max questioned and everyone remained silent, showing that they did not know the answer to that question.
"You should take him home, we'll stay here and finish-" Steve seemed to spring to life at Lucas's statement and looked scared again.
"No! I'm staying here, I'm not letting any of you out my sight!" He declared shakily, Steve attempted to stand up but feel back down into Billy's arms.
"Steve's place. It's safe," Eleven said suddenly and Billy nodded.
"I agree, leave all this shit here and let's go,"

Bunker Sessions #34 - 30/05/2019 (super-hold hairspray 80s riot) - mixed by Robder
I chanced upon this exquisite lady in the pits of a Google search hole. She instantly became my temporary muse, leading to the curation of a three-hour mix based on her look.
I think we’ll call her Crystal.
In my head she’s nonchalantly swaying around in some 1984 basement dive, fag in hand (hairspray hazard). Her musical tastes segue between dramatic darkwave, Italo-disco and dubious leftfield synth-pop*.
*The latter depending how many vodkas she’s quaffed.
Crystal has little interest in the mainstream chart countdown, as cultivating next level trashiness takes more work than her blow dry. That said, I did manage to sneak the odd Stock, Aitken and Waterman production in through the back door. ;) Shhh.
I was convinced this mix had bitten the dust following an accidental digital purge and had given up all hope of finding her. Years later, there she was, lurking in the far corners of my hard drive - cue tears of joy! Poetic license says I’d left the cassette in Crystal’s glove compartment, along with a single lace glove (laddered).
TV:AM’s Mad Lizzy, aka Lizzy Webb punctuates this mix with workout suggestions to keep you sweating in your high-gusset lycra.
Off to cough up a hairball - enjoy!x

My Favorite Album #204 - Margaret Glaspy on Bjork ‘Vespertine’ (2001)
Tumblr media
On the latest episode of My Favorite Album, bullshit-destroying Californian singer-songwriter and Telecaster-slinger Margaret Glaspy battles migraines to talk about the balance of (*cough*) emotion and math involved in the intricate and emotional Bjork classic ‘Vespertine’.
Also, we talk about how she took apart Bjork’s song ‘Who Is It’ and made it her own, the different responsibilities of being a support act and a headliner, making deliberate craft seem spontaneous, being compared to Liz Phair and whether she’s got enough credit for her role as producer on her debut album ‘Emotions and Math’.
