Moffman WIP. Sewing up the hood went pretty damn quickly, but now I have to fidget with it a bit to attach it to the mask base.

"It's time to CUT OUT the CANCER!"
This is my Gabriel from Malignant costume I made for Monsterpalooza. The mask is made of silicone. I sculpted, molded, poured, and painted it. My face copy was also done by me from an old face cast. That's made of silicone and foam backing. The coat was thrifted and dyed. The sweater was thrifted as well. The weapon was super last min and not my best. Will be remade for future wears. I had very limited visibility as Gabriel, but the responses were worth it. As Madison, it wasn't as obvious that I was in costume until I turned around.

Does anyone that knows about quadrobics and quad suits/fursuit making in general help me out?
I want to make a suit for show and species validation but also have it still be practical and sturdy and light.
I have no idea if that's possible at all :(

I was excited making this costume for Halloween, it was months of hard work, little by little 💪🏻
Still, the process was fun, a little rushed due to the last few days and touch-ups of the other parts of the costume, but this was the result :D
I just wanted to share it here 🫶🏻🩷~

Ok, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, except the friend that sent me selection notice knows this, and I aim to tell nobody irl to avoid being discouraged to try... but I need to tell someone: I'm running for the selection of two seamstress at the arena di Verona!
It's highly improbable that I will enter, but if I don't try I'll always regret it... So, wish me luck!

PLS TEACH ME HOW TO MAKE CYBERLOX IM TOO POOR TO BUY AN ALREADY MADE ONE 😭😭
You can make the traditional hair falls style, which is quite easy and there are tonnes of tutorials about online, or go for a wig style like I make! Wig style is my favourite because it allows for a lot more variation in style, but traditional hair falls are cheaper and faster to make.
To make M4rm4l's wig it cost me.. An estimated £150-200 ish. So be aware that it's a costly thing if you're making something big and not buying in bulk.
You're gonna need tubular crin, stretch lace, EVA craft foam, and whatever else you want to add to it. To attach, you need upholstery thread and hot glue. You can add some detail to your foam with fabric paint or a foam specific costme speciality paint such as Flexi Paint.
I made a wig cap out of stretch lace, and cut my crin double the length I wanted it - folded it in half at the middle, and sewed it in at intervals. I started with the back of the head and worked my way up.

I actually used airline tubing for some of the thinner bits of cable, to add some variation and depth to it. For foam strips, I simply glued them in with hot glue.
Do not, and I cannot stress this enough, use packing strips like I did. They add depth but they're fragile and can be a hazard if they break. It might be worth, if you're looking for something more poseable, to use foam with a wire armature - but I haven't tested this and it's likely to be something that would require a lot of upkeep.

To finish up the raw edge here I actually used stretch fabric, sewn and hot glued into place. I used the hot glue to almost sculpt the fabric.
I then sewed wig combs into the wig cap to keep the heavy wig in place better, but this is optional. Depends what you need to use the wig for and if it stays in place for your needs without the combs. For me, I used to dance, so it had to be ready to hold up to that constant movement.

As you can see, I then weathered everything with black puffy fabric paint!

Here's the finished wig as you might be familiar with it - accidentally showing my hair though due to having to take it off a lot at this event. Hope this all helps. Have a wonderful day!

Day 3 & 4 of New York Comic Con
We redid our X-Men costumes 10 years later. Paul's daughter was supposed to join us on Sunday but she felt under the weather. He made sure to at least get her to try on her costume.
Everything is handmade by me as always. Both our costumes were full redos. I made the shirt and jacket for the Jubilee costume and modified the glasses.
My Rogue wig is 3 wigs. 2 of the same color stacked and the 3rd is the white one on top.

Making four new costumes for Brad Burns, and testing them out a little in the Special Sparring DLC mode of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown on PS3!
I find it a little tricky to work with a lot of Brad's customization pieces--which seems to lead to some desperate err "creative" results! = o
