I went into the Pluto anime adaptation with absolutely no prior knowledge about its manga or creator. So imagine my surprise when Astro boy shows up

A Batfam AU where instead of going to get Dick to be Robin again Tim uses necromancy to bring Jason back from the dead. He just leaves Jason on the Wayne doorstep with a 'do better this time' sticky note. Batman can't find out who did it and Tim stays his little latchkey self with semi ok but distant parents (cus canonical they weren't really abusive just not there which isn't good but they could be worse). His parents bring him along on trips but again they love him but they just leave him to do as he pleases. so in Paris he ends up still getting trained by Lady Shiva. This keeps going and Tim just keeps reviving batfam members, if they fake their deaths and Tim tracks them down to check on them. They still have no idea who their shadow is, they can't find him, Tim likes it this way. Bruce goes MIA and Red Robin happens just minus Tim actually being Red Robin. The JLA doorstep gets a passed-out Batman with a 'I can't believe I have to keep doing this shit' sticky note on his head.

tbh I wish the rest of the NDA could have met Shachi before he died.

I wish we could've seen the NDA detectives interact with the Resistance group, since they're basically on two sides of the same coin fighting back against Amaterasu. Unfortunately, chapter 3's set-up with them all being separated makes that pretty impossible to happen, but it's a thought worth considering. If the other detectives met Shachi, I imagine they'd get along pretty well, especially since he's aligned heavily with Yakou's goal to protect Kanai Ward's citizens. I've even spoken about how Yakou and Shachi would get along specifically since it's a plot point in my Death Knight AU. Any friend of Yakou's is a friend to the NDA!

Series Progress

I’ve been sick for a while but also swamped with work so I’ve only manages to watch up to ep12 of detective Conan but I am loving it so much. It’s still too early to say for sure but so far I am absolutely LOVING the dynamics between the characters (even if it’s only Megure, Conan, Ran, Kogoro, and the detective boys so far). Honestly seeing Conan get dragged around to so little kid shit is funny as hell. Also whenever he pretends to be a kid in front of Ran (especially the valentines episode) have me laughing my ass off. How has no one figured him out yet?? He’s such a bad actor it’s legitimately kind of painful sometimes. However he’s such a bastard and little gremlin I can’t wait to see how he gets worse. I swear every episode he runs off and Ran just yells Conan! after him which I feel is going to be a running theme. I think what’s surprised me the most so far is how much I like Kogoro. He’s incompetent, but not as much as I thought, and him posturing is sometimes pretty funny. In general, he’s just very emotive.

ok that’s all I have to say for now. Kinda want to add more and clean this up but I don’t have the energy or time to make an actual analysis of the episodes it’s 3am.
