Wish there was a long conversation in that cave with terry and kreese like talking about the tattoos or 35 years of kreese leaving or terry leaving kreese to take over the company
I'm admittedly very tired of this whole 'You're my weakness', 'No, you're MY weakness' 'No, I'm not!' storyline they chose for Terry Silver, John Kreese and Johnny Lawrence respectively seeing how it is one that's going on for the second season now. I literally don't see it going anywhere but in circles ad nauseum. It's pointless.
#they need to talk about that more#I wanted sadness and tears not switching so fast to Johnny that those two only say like a few sentences to each other#I wanted them yelling and shoving and screaming and neck grabbing each other#I wanted Terry to bring up kreese leaving him for 35 years#give them a longer conversation#ck negativity#cobra kai season 6#terry silver#john kreese#cobra husbands#krilver#baby cobras#johnny lawrence#cobra kai

For John Kreese please and thank you !! (Karate kid 1)
The reader and Johnny have been friends since freshman year and know they're both seniors (18 and 18) and Kreese notices the reader always staring at him while he's training the kids in the dojo?
A New Focus

(Might make a part 2 of this, not sure though)
Johnny Lawrence had known you since freshman year, and in all that time, he’d never pegged you as the type to crush on someone like John Kreese. The thought didn’t even occur to him—until today.
You and Johnny were inseparable, bonded by shared pranks, whispered conversations in detention, and late-night rides on his bike. Now seniors at West Valley High, you both had matured, though Johnny still carried his cocky charm.
The Cobra Kai dojo had become a second home for you both. For Johnny, it was the perfect outlet for his frustrations and energy. For you, it was a space to focus, to watch, and lately… To observe Kreese.
Johnny noticed first during warm-ups. While the rest of the class was focused on their katas, your gaze was unmistakably elsewhere—fixed on Kreese, who was demonstrating a move with his usual sharp precision.
After class, while everyone else filed out, Johnny grabbed your arm and pulled you to the side.
“Alright, spill it,” he said, crossing his arms over his gi.
You frowned, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “Spill what?”
Johnny smirked, but there was a flicker of disbelief in his blue eyes. “Don’t play dumb. You were staring at Kreese the whole time.”
Your cheeks turned pink, and you looked away, fiddling with the strap of your gym bag. “No, I wasn’t.”
“Oh, come on,” Johnny scoffed, rolling his eyes. “You like him. Seriously? Kreese?”
The accusation hung in the air, and you shifted uncomfortably. “It’s not like that!” you hissed, lowering your voice to avoid being overheard.
“Then what is it?” Johnny pressed, his tone half-teasing, half-concerned. “Because from where I was standing, it looked like you were undressing him with your eyes.”
“Johnny!” you whisper-yelled, smacking his arm.
He laughed, but the sound quickly faded when he noticed your flustered expression. “Wait, are you serious?”
You sighed, realizing there was no point in lying. “I don’t know, okay? He’s just… I don’t know. Intense. Confident. He knows what he’s doing.”
Johnny’s expression morphed into one of pure incredulity. “He’s also like… ancient. And terrifying. And—did I mention terrifying?”
You couldn’t help but laugh at Johnny’s reaction, though it did little to ease your embarrassment. “It’s not like I’m planning on doing anything about it,” you muttered. “It’s just… a stupid crush.”
Johnny studied you for a moment before sighing dramatically. “Well, at least you’re not trying to date Tommy or something. But seriously, Kreese? That guy’s all about ‘no mercy.’ He’s not exactly boyfriend material.”
“I know that!” you said, exasperated.
Johnny shook his head, a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. “You’re unbelievable.”
Despite the teasing, there was a warmth in his voice that reassured you.
As the two of you walked out of the dojo together, Johnny threw an arm around your shoulder. “Don’t worry, I’ll keep your little secret safe—for now. But if you start writing ‘Mrs. Kreese’ in your notebooks, we’re gonna have to have a serious talk.”
The days at Cobra Kai continued as usual, or so it seemed. You tried to be more discreet, aware that Johnny's teasing had planted a seed of paranoia. Still, you couldn’t help yourself. Something about Kreese’s commanding presence drew your attention like a moth to a flame.
Unbeknownst to you, Kreese had started noticing.
At first, he chalked it up to simple admiration. Students often watched him closely, trying to emulate his precision and strength. But with you, it felt… different. Your gaze lingered longer, your attention unwavering even when the rest of the class was focused on their own training.
One evening, after most of the students had left, Kreese approached Johnny, who was idly kicking at the punching bag.
“Lawrence,” Kreese said, his tone sharp but calm.
Johnny turned, surprised. “Yeah, Sensei?”
“Your friend,” Kreese said, nodding in your direction as you packed up your bag in the corner. “She’s been… observant lately.”
Johnny froze, his mind racing. “Uh, yeah, she’s… focused, I guess. Why?”
Kreese’s eyes narrowed slightly, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “She’s got potential, but there’s something else. She seems… distracted.”
Johnny’s face flushed, and he immediately started fumbling for an answer. “Distracted? Nah, she’s just, uh… dedicated. You know how she is.”
Kreese raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Dedicated, huh? Interesting.”
Before Johnny could dig himself a deeper hole, Kreese dismissed him with a curt nod and strode over to you.
You were zipping up your bag when his shadow fell over you. Looking up, you found Kreese’s gaze fixed on you.
“Staying late tonight?” he asked, his voice low and commanding.
Your heart skipped a beat. “Oh, no. I was just about to head out.”
Kreese nodded, his expression unreadable. “You’ve been paying close attention during training. That’s good. Focus is important.”
You swallowed hard, unsure if he was complimenting you or calling you out. “Thank you, Sensei.”
His smirk deepened, as if he could see right through you. “But be careful. Too much focus on the wrong things can be… distracting.”
Your face burned, and you quickly looked away, mumbling something about needing to leave. Kreese stepped aside, allowing you to pass, but you could feel his gaze lingering as you hurried out the door.
Outside, Johnny was waiting for you, leaning casually against his car.
“What the hell was that about?” he asked as you approached, his eyes wide with disbelief.
You shook your head, your mind still racing. “I think… I think he knows.”
Johnny groaned, dragging a hand down his face. “Great. Just great. Now I’ve gotta deal with you crushing on Kreese and him knowing about it. This is a nightmare.”
Despite Johnny’s dramatics, you couldn’t help but feel a strange thrill. Kreese had noticed you—and while his words were cryptic, there was something in his tone that made your pulse quicken.
As you climbed into Johnny’s car, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this was only the beginning.
The days after Kreese’s cryptic comment passed uneventfully, but there was an unspoken tension in the air, especially whenever you caught yourself looking his way during training.
You tried to stay focused on the moves, but your thoughts kept drifting back to him. You’d never openly acknowledged your feelings to anyone, not even Johnny, but something about his sharp eyes, his silent command of the dojo… it was impossible to ignore.
It was one late afternoon after practice when Johnny finally decided to take advantage of the situation.
You were leaning against a wall, drying your face with a towel, when he sidled up beside you, that familiar mischievous grin spreading across his face.
"So," Johnny said, a little too casually, "when we graduate, are you gonna try and get into Kreese’s pants or what?"
You blinked, caught off guard, before your cheeks flushed an embarrassing shade of red. You shot him a glare, but he was already cracking up, the bastard.
"Johnny, what the hell?" you hissed, trying to shove him away.
But Johnny only laughed louder, clearly enjoying your discomfort. “Oh, come on. I saw the way you look at him. He’s got that whole ‘I’ll train you with no mercy’ thing going, and I gotta admit, he’s got you hooked.”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “I don’t like him, Johnny. You’re being ridiculous.”
Johnny snickered. “Sure, sure. Tell me another one. You know, for someone who swears up and down that she doesn’t have a thing for Kreese, you’ve sure been staring at him a lot.”
You were about to protest again when you heard a low voice from behind you, smooth and calculated.
“Is that so?”
You froze, your heart racing. Slowly, you turned around to find Kreese standing a few feet away, arms crossed and his eyes trained on you, unreadable.
Johnny’s grin faltered for a second as he looked at Kreese, then back at you, clearly understanding the magnitude of the situation. “Uh… Sensei.”
You could feel your throat dry up, your thoughts scrambling for anything coherent to say. But Kreese’s steady gaze held you in place, his silence almost more deafening than any comment he might have made.
Kreese took a step closer, his voice cool but firm. “I overheard your little conversation.” His eyes flickered briefly to Johnny, then back to you. “I’m curious. Do you really think I don’t notice things?”
Your face turned crimson, and you stammered, “I-I—“
Johnny snickered beside you, unable to resist the temptation to tease you further. “Looks like Kreese caught you, huh? Guess he’s onto you now.”
Kreese, however, was much more composed than either of you. His stare never wavered. "You're right to be focused on your training. That’s what’s important here, not personal distractions. But perhaps…" His lips curved into the slightest, almost predatory smile. “Perhaps there’s more to it than just admiration. After all, focus can become obsession, can’t it?”
The air grew thick, heavy with unspoken tension. You could feel Johnny’s teasing die down, replaced by a nervous energy that seemed to come from both of you. It wasn’t just a joke anymore.
Kreese's words lingered in your mind as he turned away, leaving you both to stew in the awkward silence he’d created. His presence alone seemed to command the room, and even after he walked away, you felt like he was still watching you, knowing exactly what you were thinking.
Johnny, ever the bold one, nudged you with his elbow. “Damn, Kreese doesn’t miss a thing, huh?”
You didn’t answer. You were too lost in the implication of Kreese’s words. Could he really have been aware of your feelings all along? Was it just your imagination, or did he actually know what you were feeling?
As the two of you made your way out of the dojo, Johnny gave you glance from the corner of his eye, his expression a mix of amusement and genuine curiosity. “Hey, if you end up getting into Kreese’s pants, just make sure I get the invite to the wedding, alright?”
You shot him an exasperated look, but deep down, you couldn’t help the strange flutter in your chest at the thought. You had no idea where this would go, or if it even could go anywhere. But with Kreese’s watchful eyes always on you, you were about to find out.
Usually, Johnny was your ride home after practice. But today, he’d called earlier in the morning that he wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t make it. You didn’t mind walking, but it was dark now, and the thought of walking alone through the streets so late didn’t sit well with you.
You sighed, glancing at the clock on the wall. It was getting late, and you were still in your gi. You’d have to change and walk quickly to avoid being out too long.
Just as you were about to head toward the locker room to change, you noticed Kreese standing near the edge of the dojo, his silhouette framed by the dim light. He hadn’t left yet, and you couldn’t help but feel the weight of his earlier words from yesterday. The awkwardness was palpable, and you weren’t sure if you should even look in his direction.
But as you started to walk toward the back, you heard his voice, low and smooth, cutting through the silence.
“[Y/N],” Kreese called out.
You froze mid-step. Your heart raced, and you slowly turned to face him, trying to ignore the flutter of nerves in your stomach.
He was looking at you with an unreadable expression, his posture relaxed but his eyes sharp, as if he’d been watching you for a while. “You’re heading out?”
You hesitated for a moment before nodding. “Yeah. Johnny’s not feeling well, so I was just about to walk home.”
Kreese’s eyes narrowed slightly, as though he were evaluating the situation. You tried to avoid his gaze, but it was hard when he was standing so close, his presence commanding the space around you.
“You’re walking home alone? This late?” he asked, his voice low, but there was a hint of concern buried beneath the usual coldness.
You nodded again, trying to play it off. “I’ll be fine. It’s just a short walk.”
Kreese didn’t seem convinced. His gaze flickered toward the door, and then back to you. You could tell he was weighing his options, as if deciding whether or not to say something. After a beat of silence, he spoke again, his voice softer than before.
“I can give you a ride, if you’d like,” he offered, his tone unexpectedly casual.
You blinked, taken aback. Of all the people you expected to offer you a ride, Kreese was at the very bottom of the list. And yet, here he was, standing in front of you, waiting for your response.
It wasn’t just the offer that threw you off—it was the way he said it. There was no mockery, no hidden agenda. Just a simple, genuine offer.
You opened your mouth to decline, but then stopped yourself. It was late, and the thought of walking alone made you uneasy. And, as much as you hated to admit it, you weren’t sure you’d feel safer with anyone else right now.
“Okay,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. “Thanks.”
Kreese gave you a small nod, his expression neutral as he gestured toward the door. “Let’s get going, then.”
You grabbed your bag, still unsure how to act around him after everything that had happened the day before. The air between you felt charged, thick with unspoken words and the lingering tension from his earlier observations. You walked toward the door, and Kreese followed, his steps quiet but purposeful.
As you stepped into the cool night air, you noticed the sleek black car parked near the curb. Kreese opened the passenger door for you with an almost courteous gesture. You hesitated for a moment before sliding into the seat, the leather feeling oddly cold against your skin.
The drive was quiet at first. Kreese’s car hummed softly as he drove, his hands steady on the wheel. You couldn’t help but feel the weight of the silence pressing in on you. The tension from yesterday’s conversation still hung between you like a thick fog.
After a few moments, Kreese broke the silence, his voice low and calm. “You’re not usually this quiet.”
You blinked, surprised that he’d even noticed. “I guess I’m just tired,” you muttered, avoiding his gaze.
Kreese didn’t respond immediately, but you could feel his eyes flicking toward you in the rearview mirror. “You don’t have to be nervous around me,” he said, his tone almost… reassuring? “I’m not going to bite.”
You swallowed hard, unsure if you were more nervous about the ride or about the strange connection that seemed to be forming between you two. “I’m not nervous,” you said, though the words sounded hollow even to your own ears.
Kreese let out a soft chuckle, his eyes still on the road. “You don’t have to pretend with me. I know what’s going on.”
Your heart skipped a beat. He knew.
You couldn’t stop yourself from looking at him, your eyes wide. “What do you mean?”
He glanced at you briefly before returning his focus to the road. “I’ve been around long enough to know when someone’s interested in something—or someone.” His voice was smooth, almost like he was speaking from experience. “You don’t have to hide it.”
Your breath caught in your throat, and you turned your gaze to the window, trying to hide the flush creeping up your neck. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you muttered, though your voice betrayed you.
Kreese didn’t say anything else for the rest of the drive, but you could feel his eyes occasionally flicking toward you, as though he was waiting for you to say something. You kept your gaze fixed on the passing streetlights, your mind racing.
When the car finally pulled up in front of your house, you were almost relieved. You didn’t know how much more of this strange, charged silence you could handle.
Kreese stopped the car and turned to face you, his expression unreadable. “Here we are.”
You nodded, fumbling for the door handle. As you opened the door, Kreese spoke again, his voice softer than before.
“Take care.”
You glanced back at him, surprised by the unexpected warmth in his words. “Thanks for the ride,” you said quietly, stepping out of the car, closing the door as he rolled down the window from the passenger side, which your thank you only got you a hum from Kreese.
He watched you step up the stairs and toward your front door, making sure you got in okay before driving down the road.

their partnership gives him whiplash some days. ⸻ most days in fact. just when it started to feel as though both men might be on the same page, something would happen and it flipped the whole book right back to the beginning. they’re too different, too headstrong; neither willing to accept their way isn’t the only way. once in a voicemail ( 'i can’t believe i’m saying this, but i guess i need you too.' ) was enough. "i’m not the one with half his head out the game. what that ponytail prick did, yeah, it was messed up … but he never would’ve been able to do it if you’d been where you were supposed to be. here, with us." natural defence mechanisms kick in. the ones that tell him to fight first, talk later. it’s an automatic reflex that johnny can barely control, even when he tries. jaw clenches half a beat beat later, as if attempting to swallow down pride and silence himself. as much as it pains him to admit, larusso isn’t wrong. the sekai taikai is no normal tournament. they don’t stand a chance if they carry on like this.
his head tilts up towards the sky, taking a moment to compose himself this time before finally relenting. just a little anyway. "i know where we are, man. and believe it or not, i know how important this is to those kids, which makes it important to me too." vocalising thoughts or feelings didn’t come as easy to john as they seemed to for daniel. he didn’t always say the right thing. he’s trying though. that’s gotta count for something. "i came back because i want to help us win this thing. and i know we can’t do that without you too." this is bigger than his pride now. daniel isn’t the real enemy when kreese and silver stand not far in the building behind them. they had enough battles to fight without him making it harder by fighting each other too. he gets that now. "you’re right. i’ll kick your ass if you tell anyone i said that, but … you’re right. we gotta put this shit to bed and focus on our students. i’m ready to do that if you are."
@cobraes asked for x. for johnny.
The streets of Barcelona pulsed with energy, tourists and locals alike bustling past the cafes and shops that lined La Rambla. Daniel stood at the edge of a sun-drenched plaza, his gaze tracking a group of teenagers practicing their kicks and katas, the passion for martial arts evident even in their unrefined movements
"Johnny," Daniel said, turning to face his old rival and, in more recent years, uneasy ally. He sighed, pushing his hands into his pockets as if that could somehow steady the emotions swirling inside him. "We can't keep fighting," he began, his voice gentle but firm. "I know we've managed to stay... mostly friendly, but whenever we're at odds, it's like a ripple effect. The kids—our students—they lose their way."
Daniel shook his head, his frustration tempered by a deep sense of responsibility. "Look at where we are," he gestured to the plaza, to the energy and potential buzzing all around them. "We're in Barcelona for one of the biggest tournaments in the world. These kids came here to prove themselves, to show that they can be more than just extensions of our past. We owe it to them to set an example."

I was looking at a DX walkthrough and turns out Psionics are actually referenced - although in the sci-fi definition of the word, it's more about using technological means to achieve abilities that would be considered "paranormal".
Although I think this is an ironic conversation (I don't think a regular Versalife employee would be able to know about secret research like that), I would probably tie this with how in my lore Bob keeps testing on Lawrence to find a way to try and translate his Psychic abilities (which he can use naturally, without tech) to some device he could implant to his non-ESPER agents to make them able to use similar powers.
Interestingly enough, another employee at Versalife is called "John Smith", similar enough to "Johnny Smith" from Stephen King's "Dead Zone" which is about a psychic protagonist with Clairvoyance.
#lore#i think the devs /writers just wanted to reference Psionics as they were a thing in System Shock too#Lawrence is basically a mutant who can use Psychic abilities on his own because his brain is structured differently

Also, re: the baby trapping conversation, I happen to be watching CkS4 ep 5 and right before John pulls rank on Terry he has dinner with him (and Terry buys him the best bottle of scotch the restaurant has 😭
"You didn't have to do that."
"I know 😏😊.")
John brings up a problem he's having with Terry's teaching methods.
"Cobra Kai never backs down from a fight. Tournament or no tournament. We always strike first."
(this is in relation to Terry telling the kids to not pick a fight with Miyagi-do after setting the sprinklers on them.)
And what does Terry say? He looks all confused and goes -
"But you already did."
And when John doesn't seem to be understanding he just goes "Robby Keene. You never told me his father was Johnny Lawrence. You stole the man's son." (Approximately )
Which just shows me Terry is 100% capable of using children as bargaining chips.
#im suddenly very tired lol#that tiny bit of content we got made my dopamine spike probably and now i have a karate hangover lol#blorbo hangover#karate blorbo hangover#not gonna bother tagging ships for this one

"no." his answer is quick. possibly a little too quick, no real thought given to the lesson jeanny is attempting to teach as much as acting on impulse. "if i don’t tell him he’s being a bitch, who will?" the fork he’s been using to shovel food in his mouth points in her direction instead, as if to further emphasise the next point. "that’s how we learn, brown." he’s on the defence. ⸻ or is it shame? johnny knows he can do better and his students shouldn’t have to be the ones pointing that out to him, but old habits die hard. especially when daniel larusso is involved. heavy sigh finally escapes and cutlery drops down to clatter against plate, a sign he MIGHT be accepting defeat. "i’m not the one pulling a disappearing act because i didn’t get my own way." he isn’t entirely sure that’s the reason. in fact, if he thinks too long about it, he starts to get concerned at the out of character radio silence larusso is giving them all. however, it still seems worth pointing out, acting as nothing more than an attempt to take the heat off of him for a minute. "what am i supposed to do if he isn’t here?"
@cobraes asked for a season six part two beggining .
"Don't you get tired of fighting Sensei LaRusso?" And she plumps herself beside Johnny for a moment. She decided she would voice out what she knows her father would say, perhaps to give some wisdom to her uncle as much as she could.
"You two are our senseis. We can't function as a team if you two are at odds. Again." And they already saw how that can affect them in the end. The Sekai Takai was meant to be something different, a new beginning for all of them. "This is my first official tournament and you are spoiling it." Jeanny said, half a jest, half truth.

I've seen a lot of Thomas's interviews lately. I've come across one where he mentions that there's a deleted scene from s5 that would make us understand why Terry is not afraid to die.... and I don't know your thoughts on that scene where Terry is conversing with Kim and having a drink before the trio of "good guys " trespass.
I just feel his body language and tone he used whilst talking about youth was somewhat depressing. I personally hate that terminally ill theory ,but what do you think about all of this...could it mean..?
I'm literally on the verge of not going back to the show if they kill Terry...hated how they developed his character and how he really never got the chance ...sure he's deceptive and manipulative...but seriously he was not the bad guy here.
P.s sorry for the ranting 😭just a bunch of ck disappointment.
What are your thoughts on this situation?
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they kill him off.
I mean, I hate it, and wow, what a waste, but it wouldn't surprise me.
I can literally see Terry's whole schpeel in Season 6, if Season 6 ever even happens is, and here is a prediction; He bails himself out of jail because he is realistically too rich to stay there, he turns out to be terminally ill (maybe he gets a compassionate release due to it), and he kidnaps the Jarmen baby as a one final 'If I'm going to die, I'm taking someone down with me', because we need to hit all the stereotypes, including making Terry Silver a baby-stealing Jewish man taking over the world a la something out of a blood libel. Or maybe John Kreese does the kidnapping. Heck, maybe John Kreese does the rescuing and that is his redemption? Saving Johnny Lawrence's legacy from Terry Silver? Either ways, I just feel this nonsense will happen. Maybe we get a roof-top showdown of John and Terry fighting over a stolen baby.😂 Reason why it is particularly jarring is because, and I have said this before, the show went about literally redeeming every villain and denoting Daniel's past trauma to a set of quirky jokes and 'ha-ha, remember when...'', and yet in the same vein we are expected to have these immense stakes with Terry. Like, why? If Mike Barnes nearly throwing Daniel off of a cliff and terrorizing him to the point where Daniel couldn't even fight a tournament out of sheer fear is a-okay all of a sudden, where does the moral high-ground of villainy even stand in this universe anymore and why should we really care?
So, yeah, I think he might just die because the writers need to tie up loose ends.

Drabble | Ficlet | ●●● | teen Lawrusso | adult Lawrusso |
Prompt used: “I’ll kick his ass.” and “Breathe with me. Come on. Breathe. You got it - there you go.”
(Post-season 3, content warning for panic attack, Terry Silver makes an appearance)
LaRusso makes Johnny arrive at the dojo almost an hour before the students so they can go over whatever new lesson plan he’s cooked up in his over-excited head. Johnny would rather shoot from the hip, but LaRusso could be right about some of their teaching methods clashing a little too hard, and even Johnny doesn’t want a repeat of the balance wheel incident from last week. He’s got no idea what going viral means, but he’s pretty sure it’s got nothing to do with catching a cold.
He parks his car next to LaRusso’s polished Audi and turns his eyes to the rear-view mirror as he fits his headband over his forehead. It might be smaller than LaRusso’s with the fancy lotus flowers, but it’s from Ali and that’s all that counts.
There’s movement behind his reflection and Johnny watches as the gate to the garden is pushed open. A man walks to the dusty yard, tall and well-dressed, his silver hair almost glowing in the afternoon sun.
Johnny gets out of the car and watches the guy over the rim of his shades. Could be that they’ve scored a new student, but the guy looks more like the rich Encino pricks that used to kiss Sid’s ass at the country club than a karate parent.
“You must be Sensei Lawrence,” the man calls out, walking across the yard with his hand outstretched, smiling at Johnny like they’re old friends. “Two-time All Valley champion! John has told me all about you.”
“Who?” Johnny frowns, feeling like he’s missed some crucial part of the conversation.
There’s something unsettling in the guy’s expression as he takes in Johnny’s appearance, lifting his brow into a skeptical arch. “Well. I guess the 80s were a while ago, huh, Champ?”
The whole interaction turns instantly sour as Johnny’s brain connects the dots. “Wait, you mean John Kreese?”
“Yes, John and I go way back.” The man grabs Johnny’s hand and gives it a firm shake, his shark smile stretching from ear to ear. “Terry Silver.”
“Look, man, I don’t give a shit.” Johnny yanks his hand away and stands up a little straighter, squaring his shoulders. “I think it’s time for you to vacate the premises, buddy.”
“You know what, you're right," Silver lifts his arm and makes a show of checking his over-priced watch, “John and I have a class to teach. And I must say, your son Robby is already making a lot of progress. We think he's got potential to follow in his father’s footsteps, become Cobra Kai’s next champion.”
Johnny digs his nails into his palms and glares at Silver through his shades, tastes a burst of iron on his tongue as he buries his teeth into his cheek.
“I’ll see you around, Mr. Lawrence. And let Danny-boy know I enjoyed our reunion,” Silver says, grinning like a maniac as he gets into his Tesla.
Danny-boy? What the fuck? Trust LaRusso to be friends with rich creeps like Silver.
Silver speeds away, leaving Johnny to stand in a cloud of dust. He makes his way to the dojo and the knowledge that his kid is being taught not just by one, but two geriatric karate maniacs kind of makes him want to throw up the cold burrito he had for lunch. He’s failed Robby from the moment he drew his first breath, but allowing him to fall into Kreese’s snake pit might be his worst fuck up yet.
“Hey, LaRusso, you in there?” Johnny calls, toeing his shoes off on the deck. “Who the hell was that asshole? Don’t tell me you’re actually friends with—” he pushes one of the shoji doors aside and stops dead in his tracks when he spots LaRusso, hunched in the middle of the dojo on his hands and knees, trembling like a leaf.
“What the hell?” Johnny rushes to Daniel’s side and drops down on his knees. “You hurt?”
Daniel stares at the tatami with vacant eyes, sucking in labored, wheezing breaths, his fingers digging into his thighs, and Johnny’s not sure he’s even aware of his presence.
“Hey, hey, Daniel, look at me.” Johnny snaps his fingers in front of Daniel’s nose until he finally looks up with huge, wet eyes. “What’s going on, man? Are you having a stroke or something?”
Daniel shakes his head and wraps his fingers around Johnny’s forearms, his grip almost bruising. “It’s a—a panic attack.”
“Panic what?” Johnny feels like he’s been tossed into the deep end of a pool with his hands tied, and shit, he really needs to apologize to Miguel for that. “Can I-can I do something?”
Daniel squeezes his eyes shut and drags his hands up to Johnny’s chest, slipping them inside his gi, and Johnny does his best not to flinch when there are suddenly two ice cold palms pressed against his pecs. “Just help me—breathe.”
Johnny nods, wrapping his fingers around Daniel’s hands in a gentle hold. He thinks of all the breathing exercises Daniel has forced him to do after class, filling his lungs as slow as he can, in and out, in and out.
“Yeah, that’s it. Breathe with me. Come on. Breathe.”
Daniel’s hands tremble against Johnny’s chest, his blunt nails digging into tender skin, but he starts to get his breathing under control one agonizing inhale at a time.
“You got it—there you go.” Johnny reaches out to push Daniel’s lopsided hachimaki up on his forehead and wipes his thumb over the droplet of sweat clinging to his cupid’s bow. “You good, man?”
Daniel slumps forward and rests his forehead against Johnny’s shoulder, his muscles still twitching every few seconds. “Yeah, I think it’s passing. Thank you, John.”
“Jesus Christ, LaRusso…” Johnny splays his fingers between Daniel’s shoulder blades and gives his back an awkward rub. “What the hell was that? And who was that Terry Silver guy?” He flexes his fingers against Daniel’s spine, his cheeks prickling with a hot flush of rage. “Did he do this to you?”
There’s an awkward stretch of dead air between them as Daniel stands up and straightens his gi, his face still sallow and clammy. “Can you grab me an Evian from the fridge?”
“A what?”
Daniel’s mouth pulls into a weary smile. “A bottle of water, Johnny.”
“Oh. Okay.” Johnny gets up on his feet, ignoring the sting of pain in his knee joints, and rushes into their shared office. His lungs feel like they’re seizing under his rib cage, and trust LaRusso to almost give him a goddamn heart attack.
He grabs Daniel's fancy water and a Banquet from the fridge, fixing his face into a blank mask as he heads back into the dojo. He finds Daniel on the sunny deck, hachimaki untied and his gi hanging loosely around his hunched form, and he finally looks his age, the usual aura of healthy living and inexplicably good looks replaced by tear-reddened eyes and blotchy, swollen skin.
Johnny hands Daniel his water and pops the cork off his beer, downing half of the bottle in one.
"Sit with me?" Daniel says, patting his palm against the deck.
Johnny empties the rest of his beer and drops down next Daniel, squinting his eyes against the bright afternoon sun.
"So..." Daniel rags the toes of his slippers against the gravel, watching Johnny from the corner of his eye. "You probably want to know what happened.”
Johnny turns to face Daniel, tempted to grab him by his skinny shoulders, because yeah, he sure as hell wants to know what happened. “Who was that guy?”
Did he put his hands on you?
Daniel lets out a quiet chuckle, dry and humorless. “Believe it or not, but he used to be my sensei.”
Johnny shakes his head, because what the hell? That guy? LaRusso’s sensei? “Mr. Miyagi was your sensei.”
“Yes, but so was Terry Silver, for a while, when I was in...” Daniel looks away, trailing his fingers over knots of faint scar tissue on his tan knuckles, “when I was in Cobra Kai.”
Johnny blinks at Daniel, pretty sure the words he just heard from his mouth were some kind of an auditory hallucination. “You. In Cobra Kai. You’re—you’re serious?”
Daniel nods, his eyes fixed on the damp label on the side of his water bottle. And the bomb he’s just dropped should have Johnny laughing and calling him out on his bullshit, because Daniel LaRusso being a member of Cobra Kai is like some cosmic level of hypocrisy. But he doesn’t feel like laughing, because Daniel looks fucking gutted. And scared.
He tears at the label on his bottle with nervous fingers, the Jersey in his voice stronger than normal as he begins to stumble through a messed up recount of his time in Cobra Kai, and the more he speaks, the more Johnny wants to hit something.
He’s met his share of wackjobs, but the way Daniel speaks of Terry Silver makes it painfully clear that the guy is more than a prick with a checkbook. And how dare that fucker come to their dojo and mess with Daniel?
"Goddammit!" Johnny shoots up to his feet, tearing his headband off his forehead as the violence in his blood boils over. “I’ll kick his ass, right now.”
Daniel turns to look at him, and there’s something like awe and relief in his eyes, but he shakes his head. “Johnny, no.”
“No? The guy’s a fucking lunatic!” Johnny argues, bouncing on his heels. “He disrespected our dojo, gave you a goddamn panic attack, and he’s got my kid.”
The mere thought of the nightmare duo of their former senseis messing with Robby’s head fills Johnny with dread, immediate and heart-wrenching.
Daniel wraps his fingers around Johnny’s hand and pulls him back down, his touch grounding. “Trust me, Johnny, I know.” He takes his hachimaki and shocks Johnny into stunned silence as he fits it under the mess of his blond hair and reaches behind his neck to tie it in a firm knot.
"We’ll beat them at the tournament," Daniel says, his face hardening into a determined scowl, “and we’ll get Robby back, together.”

There is no sweeter innocence than our gentle sin
Hope you like it @indecisive-behaviors sorry for my bad writting i couldnt help myself to write a little snippet lol .
....... ........
Johnny lawrence had a hard time growing up and adjusting from just him and his mother to living with Sid .
The man expected alot from him even if he was just a kid . Every move he made was being watched , waiting for one mistake .
When he was a teenager , he and his friends would beat the shit out of kids who seemed weaker or in Dutch words a fairy .
He was full of anger and it was the only way to let some steam .
The other half he spent being with his girlfriend Ali that he loved , but she later broke up with him because he wasn't the guy she fell in love with .
Not even a week later she started dating a guy from college .It made him angry , made him like he was nothing but a weak boy .
Felt like he was full of anger like a dark cloud just following him .
Sid always gave him shit , always telling him that he was just a pussy and just like the kids he would beat up .
College wasn't for him it was just time wasted , he dropped out with one month in . The look of dissapointment of his mom hurt him more than the harsh words Sid yelled at him .
Then one day he crossed into a man named kreese , he was wasted but soon after he got into a fight with a dumbass that got in his way .
Kreese stopped him before he killed the guy . Told him he had potential of being something big , at first he thought he was full of shit and almost threw hands at him too .
The man gave him a card to call him when he was tired of wasting away talent .
Thats how he was thrown into the underground business after he was thrown in jail almost killing Sid and left him in pulp .
Kreese had taken him out of jail , Johnny had to repay the favor by doing what he did best using his anger and destroying the ones around him .
Johnny thrived from the anger that pumped in his veins , the blood that would splatter and the satifaction of feeling in control .
He didnt want to give the feeling or the money up .
He was Kreese favorite fighter his star pupil , thats why he was the only one to get to meet the boss of the underground that was given to John Kreese to keep an eye on .
" You were born to be a cobra, lawrence with that power you can control the world with just the palm of your fist . "
He believed every word yet when he wanted the person he couldnt have . He felt like a useless powerless ant .
He wished to he had never went with kreese to meet the man thaat would hurt the person he would love the most .
..
The Mansion was huge bigger than the ones he grew up with Sid. Maids and butler walked around and carrying on with their dutties . They were directed to the backyard full of little trees and cherry blossoms that seemed the opposite of the tales of Mr. Silver .
A foot in the garden , weirdly he felt relaxed even more so when he had spent the night with shannon and smoking weed .
" Did you wrapped your hand like i told you yesterday , if you dont start taking care of yourself someone else will take your place . "
" Yes sensei , Carmen helped me out and We both know no one can take my place .
Kreese chuckles proudly .
" John my man ! Long time no see , What do i owe the pleasure .
" Its been a while has it . Hope im not interrupting . "
" nonsense pal . "
" I wanted you to meet you lawrence , the one i been talking about . "
The man had piercing cold stare , but johnny wasn't scared when he almost killed sid with his bare hands , hes not going to start now just because the guy was freakin rich .
Terry looked unimpressed, like he was staring a gum at the bottom of his shoe .
" How old are you kid ? "
" 24 ."
" Does he got the potential for it or will he back out like scared kid ? "
The question was directed to kreese like if he wasn't just standing there . God he wanted to beat the shit of this self absorbed guy .
" I could prove it to you right now . " He answers before Kreese could get a word in .
The guys just chuckles and smiles , Johnny really wanted to break his hand where he places it on his shoulder .
" Alright then , Your in the big boy world now . "
" Mr . Silver ? "
A older lady called , He guessed she was a secretary or probably his wife .
" Mr. LaRusso said that hes going to church and you could stay here with your friends . "
" Nonsense . Get the car ready , Well gentleman got any plans today ? . "
.....
It had been awhile he had gone to church , couldn't remember at all .
Stepping out of the car , he watches in the distance where Mr. Silver and the larusso guy- he looked more like a boy to him .
When the guy walks in first , Silver makes a hand motion to follow him . They make him sit besides the boy while Kreese and Terry sit in the back to talk business .
All he wanted to do was run the fuck out of there . He felt everyone could see his bloodstained hands , and all the fucked up shit he's done and about to do .
He didnt even realise his leg was bouncing until he felt a dainty hand over his , where he place above his knee .
" First time ? "
" Its been awhile . "
" Focus on the beautiful angels instead of thinking about how the people might see your sins . "
The boy whispered to him , not once he looked at him in the entire conversation but he didnt take his hand back either .
Johnny looked at the angel , he felt the whispers and the judging eyes dissapear, For the first time he wondered how can an angel look so sad and beautiful at the same time .
Said angel turned to face him , Johnny felt mesmerized by his huge doe eyes .
" What are you doing ? "
Clenching his fist to feel the dull ache of his knuckles . Holding his gaze , his eye flicker one more time to their hands and then back to him .
" Looking at the angel . "
....... ....... ........
" If im Bambi , What does that make you , the lion ? "
" i guess it does , The lion has to protect the Bambi from the hungry snakes . "

Characters: Johnny Lawrence, Daniel LaRusso, Miguel Diaz, Demetri, Terry Silver (mention)
Ship: None
Warnings: None
Prompt: Idiom
—
Johnny stares blankly. “Snakes don’t have fur and shit.”
“I said wool, Johnny.”
“He did say wool, Sensei,” Miguel pipes up, ever helpful. Johnny gives him a look, and he immediately backpedals. “But I can see why, uh, it can be confusing when you mix metaphors.”
“Actually, Sensei LaRusso used a simile and an idiom.”
“Are you a part of this conversation, Demetri?” Johnny asks. “Or are you doing your katas?”
“John.” Daniel sighs sharply. “As I was saying, Terry Silver’s a snake, and he pulled the wool over my eyes.”
“I’m gonna throw you in the koi pond, LaRusso.”
