Also, re: the baby trapping conversation, I happen to be watching CkS4 ep 5 and right before John pulls rank on Terry he has dinner with him (and Terry buys him the best bottle of scotch the restaurant has 😭

John brings up a problem he's having with Terry's teaching methods.

"Cobra Kai never backs down from a fight. Tournament or no tournament. We always strike first."

(this is in relation to Terry telling the kids to not pick a fight with Miyagi-do after setting the sprinklers on them.)

And what does Terry say? He looks all confused and goes -

"But you already did."

And when John doesn't seem to be understanding he just goes "Robby Keene. You never told me his father was Johnny Lawrence. You stole the man's son." (Approximately )

Which just shows me Terry is 100% capable of using children as bargaining chips.
