Hi Hello and welcome! Have a little lore and details to my four ancients and where they started!

Anthea

They grew up on Elpis and followed, mostly, in their parent's footsteps in creating and researching concepts, where they differed was picking flora over fauna. Anthea had many a great idea and wanted to so desperately make something perfect worthy of the star but never could get their creations exactly how they wanted them and even when they could it could never be replicated in the exact same manner. It was an attempt to create a flower with rainbow edges that a stray thought gave birth to what would be dubbed the Elpis flower, the most life changing flora they had created.

Constantinos aka Conner

With a passion in the application of plants to the body in various forms, it was a surprise he wasn't sent to be a Word of Halmarut. Instead he found his post to becoming the assistant to the newest appointed Emet-Selch, though metaphorical guard dog was a more apt description at times. While not ideal Conner embraced the role and found his skills and detail orientated brain worked well with the seemingly random data brought up from the Aetherial Sea. It was through this job that he would meet all manner of people of the utmost importance to their society....and he never finds out that he was placed there as an attempted prank by Emet-Selch's brother Azem.

Deimos

Born and raised in Amaurot not far from his cousin Hades, Deimos was always a bit of an odd one. Always over excitable, had to be moving, and always had a million questions for his older cousin Hades. The two were raised closely to a point it was just easier to call one another brother, especially when Deimos' natural talent in magic and intelligence led to him skipping enough grades to soon share a classroom with Hades wherein soon the boys were always associated with one another. Once they were out in the world as adults, Deimos set to work on setting himself apart from his brother, finding a passion in the creation and process of doing so among the Words of Lahabrea. Still eccentric as ever Deimos would run the other Words that mentored him, when Lahabrea could not, ragged. It was after his latest suggestions on adding "cuteness and more fighting features" to someone's little fluffy transformation familiar that the Words pushed him onto the current Azem that was looking for assistance on their adventure. His out of the box thinking and fearlessness impressed Azem and had her taking him under her wing to become the next Azem.

Iris

She was always the honor student it was no surprise that she would end up in a class with a young Hades who was relieved to have a class without his brother or his best friend Hythlodaeus. As assigned partners though these two both had their own opinions on how things should be done and couldn't get along to start....that is until she defended his harshness of another student with a subtle harshness of her own that the two found they had much in common. Getting closer in the classes to follow where Hades was without his other two companions, they started a bit of a relationship that came to an end with the end of required schooling. Iris had a thirst for adventure and had always set her sights on following up on the creations released into the world, that Hades never wanted to stifle and she didn't want to stifle him and his plans that he had for his life. Staying in touch the best they could over the years it would take an AU for them to end up together.

Siberite goes by Sib by a lot of people she quite likes it since most of her life she only was Siberite/Lady Siberite its far less formal. And only 2 people are allowed to call her Sibby and that’s her brother (he was the one to coin it) and Khutula. No one else. She honestly would get a little upset (calm upset) if someone called her Sibby that wasn’t one of those two (or well one technically at this point). Oh also never refer to this woman as Lady or M'lady unless absoluetly necessary. She hates it quite a bit while on the road.

Demos doesn’t have any and he’s quite content with that.

Anthea will let you use whatever nickname you choose. I write it out as Thea among characters because that’s what I did outside of writing but someone else has reffered to them as Anthy and frankly its cute as hell and it stays on the list of nicknames....even if its only 2 right now.

Constantinos goes by Conner or Con, though Conner is preffered. Originally his other universe had a whole story behind it but I am so attached that it has to stay because I changed his full name to a more Greek version for ffxiv. 

Stasia is only ever called Stas by Carly. Carly has none. Deimos doesn’t have any currently other than heavy sigh and facepalm. Iris also doesn’t have any other ones currently.

being under that roof alone with him. its certainly shaped this boy.

him and his father are what the preps and many of the 'financially superior' would call: trailer trash. or white trash.

no prospects, no hope, no future, just another bluecollar jackass.

such a bleak scene doesnt foster any form of academic success.

to say he struggled in school is an understatement. and of course, he certainly didnt have any help at home.

only his friends, tom, trent, etc, in the same shit boat he was in, agreed: school sucked ass.

at least he had them. they were all he had.

Expanded Lores:

to understand wade, we must first take a look at his father.

and boy, what a piece of work he is.

yes that man currently owns? a seafood restaurant. but earlier in life his real passion was boxing.

he never raised a fist against his children while his wife was around. but after she left and his drinking problem got worse?

well. wade picked up some moves from him too.

wade's father didnt have any patience for such a disappointment after life fucked him over so much already.

all the bullies are like pack bonded tbh. yeah they're hooligans but they're very ride or die together. loyal to the end.

bc god knows they aint got anyone else.

even his sister doesnt really like him. yeah she'll giggle at the stunts he pulls, but he's a bit too... i unno Gross for her tastes.

but again, at least he has his own 'brotherhood' he fraternizes with.

yeah he's a fan of those mythologies. histories. achilles, perseus, heracles, etc.

this boy has a severe insectophobia. stemming from a rather unpleasant infestation at home.

it is a Blessing his father doesnt actually do any of the cooking at the restaurant.

for ages they've battled against the three menaces: ants, flies, and worst of all fuckin german cockroaches.

many a night has wade woken up to something or several somethings crawling on him.

at least bullworth only has rats. in the dorms, anyway.

the kitchen is a different story of course and he doesnt trust anything in it. which is justified.

moving on his favorite victims are donald bucky and constantinos respectively.

typically he gets the latter to do his homework. which doesnt always turn out well for him.

his grades have not improved in the slightest but at least he has more time to dick around.

he drinks sometimes but he doesnt really like it. if anything it just makes him miserable because it makes him feel even more stupid.

he's pretty fuckin depressed at heart he just hides it behind his fists most of the time.

he's a jackass that's just tired of all the bullshit in his life. who knows maybe he wishes they'd take him away from his dad if he acts up enough.

maybe then his mom would stop harping on him so much if it means having him back. maybe she'd regret leaving him behind.

maybe then his father would regret what he's done and start Loving Him again.

Sib literally saw the first young man that was nice to her and sort of came to her rescue and said that’s him. That’s the one I want. Like girl we were only a week into playing the game! We had so many other pretty men to come too, but fine I guess she’s right and Thanny is her beloved.

Demos took awhile but when Yugiri starts talking about how she misses the ocean and wouldn’t change her life like there was a line that just clicked it for me. Like they belong together.

Carly heard Zenos’ speech in stormblood and also went “that feral man is mine! Gimmie!”

Out of all the Orkney siblings, Gareth and Gaheris are the closest. Not just because of relative age but also just because. This is, unfortunately, why Gareth broke Gaheris' arm after she learned about what he, and the others, did to Lamorak. None of her brothers got out of that fight with her unscathed but she was the most furious with Gaheris since usually, due to their closeness, he wouldn't do something if she asked him not to. But that time he did and well. Yeah.

She won't apologize even in Chaldea.

For all his expressed disdain of Constantinos, Emrys doesn't outright hate the man. Even if the very high likelihood of them being related in some capacity makes him want to throw himself into the ocean. If anything he knows he can rely on Constantinos both in and outside of battle. And, on occasion, he'll show bits of a softer side by saving the man from having to drink the pine tar wine or other...questionable things.

Just don't bring it up.

Headcanons for how the cheerleaders and jocks would react if a cheerleader came out as a lesbian

Given how gossipy students at Bullworth are, I wouldn’t be surprised that if a cheerleader looked or acted remotely GNC, (e.g. having very short hair, requesting to be able to wear a ‘male cheerleading uniform’ that has trousers, behaving in a way that is deemed masculine etc), they’d already be rumours spreading about her being a lesbian. Presumably spread by Christy.

Christy might be slightly chuffed that one of her rumours actually came true. Once you’ve come out to her, practically all of the school will know that you’re gay by second period. She’d likely use this as a source of rumour-mongering as well, like saying that you have crush on literally any girl from Bullworth just because you talked to them once. This might deter some girls from associating with you for a while, as to not be branded as a lesbian as well, but this’ll die down eventually when the Bullworth student body has found something new to gossip about.

Angie ,out of all the cheerleaders, would likely be the most accepting. She’s usually kind and conflict-adverse, so I can’t really envision her having any problems with you being gay. 

Pinky's would probably be rather accepting too since she's close friends with Gord. She might even be slightly intrigued in how poor people have the freedom to live ‘an alternative lifestyle’ ,and how poor people are able to live more ‘real’ and ‘authentic’ lives.

Mandy typically dislikes people who go against social norms, and given that being openly gay would probably dub you a social reject by some, she’ll be homophobic and belittling towards you. Despite this, I get the feeling she wouldn't immediately kick you off the squad because, despite her homophobia, she’ll feel somewhat relieved that she’s not ‘competing’ against you for male attention and she can trust that Ted won’t cheat on her with you, as opposed to if you were straight. Expect threats of being kicked off though.

You would definitely need to be feminine for Mandy admit you into the cheerleading squad. I can’t picture Mandy allowing a GNC/butch chick to be a cheerleader in the first place ,even if she was competent, given how Mandy treats being pretty and popular as a prerequisite for joining, but for the sake of argument if Mandy did allow a GNC chick to become a cheerleader, she’d treat her like the Constantinos of the cheerleading squad. She’d refuse to acknowledge the effort you’re putting into your routines, try to exclude you from the jocks’ parties and generally be malicious.

Once Mandy knows you're gay, she'd automatically assume you're into her ,and the girls (*cough*Mandy*cough*) would force you to change in the corner of the locker room so you 'can't look at them'

Speaking of locker rooms, you would probably be the subject of crass locker room talk amongst the jocks ,particularly Casey, Juri, and Ted. Likely jokes about scissoring, you being able to eye the other girls in the locker room and ,if you’re femme, about how the idea of you kissing other girls is hot. Outside of private banter, I’d imagine that they'd probably needle/hassle you about it, akin to how Gary bullies Petey in the starting cutscene of Defend Bucky, though I doubt that their hassling would be as harsh or physical as what they do to male students, especially so if you’re still a cheerleader.

Bo and Luis would be apathetic. The only jocks I can see as being accepting would be Dan and Kirby. Dan seems to be the least homophobic of the straight Jocks since I headcanon he used to be close with Cornelius before he became a jock and that he’s the only jock to know and accept Kirby’s bisexuality. That being said, he and Kirby might join in on their clique-mates homophobia to fit in and keep up appearances. 

Kirby might like the idea of confiding in you about being closeted, but still be too scared about telling anyone other than Dan. Seeing Mandy constantly threaten you off the squad and the homophobia you face as further evidence of this his fears of what would happen if he were to come out.

Oh okay so I got an Azem and 2 other Ancient OCs. I tried to sum them up best I could and their stories so I hope you enjoy!

So firstly Azem, born under the name of Diemos, is Emet’s annoying yet practically equal in talent younger cousin. They grew up together fairly close so you could compare it easily to a sibling relationship. Impulsive as hell, challenges Emet to anything and everything. Hates the city and the longer he’s there the more likely he is to be hot headed and more impulsive. Didn’t choose the Azem life the Azem life chose him. Wasn’t an official Convocation member at the time of Emet joining but practically was they just hoped a few more years apprenticing would chill him out a little more. Has chimarishm granting him two different eye colors, became useful in the Final Days as he was trying to find a way to save the star and said this was too much for just one of him. He was a summoner in skill more than blm (but still close) and so tried and succeeded in making a clone of himself using that different set of dna resulting in two bodies same whole soul (lost the two different colored eyes though) prior to sundering and did it on impulse so there was never a thought to if it could be reversed later on.

Anthea my precious, they are the creator of the Elpis flower and eventually becomes the Watcher/Shepherd. They met Hythlodaeus after bringing in the Elpis flower for evaluation and quite literally bumped into him. This was way before Emet was on the Convocation and before Hyth became the Chief of Bureau of Architecture, like if I had to put an equitable timeline to our lifespan they all would have been fairly fresh from college and like mid to late 20s. From there the two began to fall for each other fairly quickly and much of their worlds revolved around the other with Anthea fitting into the trio that was Hyth, Emet, and Azem making them all a kind of family (made the full time move to Amaurot after Hyth became chief easier). They were so very devastated about his sacrifice but accepted it nonetheless. When it came to the third sacrifice Anthea couldn't get behind such a thing and rejected Emet's offer and pleas to join him in working to bring their world and Hyth back. It was then they turned to Venat and she gave them the job of being the Watcher/Shepherd for one would serve primarily as watcher and be split into 14 while Anthea was there to see any souls that left Zodiark too early back to the sea and to provide the aether the Watcher lost so they would remain whole. They are the one to tell Siberite the name of the flower after Hyth asked for her to show it to them hoping to make them smile and know that he never had left them.

Finally we have Constantinos aka Conner. Conner was the assistant to one Emet-Selch as a misguided prank/messing with from Azem. The two had a good relationship in terms of work though that didn't stop Conner from getting frustrated with the man and in delivering some paperwork ran into a still fresh faced Convocation member Elidibus and proceeded to rant about his boss to him. While apologies were made the two found themselves physically attracted to one another but made no moves about it for awhile. Once they did a sort of office affair began in secret. Eventually feelings would grow and all of it was kept secret going so far as to Elidibus taking the name Themis outside of work while donning a black robe and white mask. Conner would perish in the initial fall of Amaurot and since only three people had confirmation on his relationship he spoke to no one about the grief felt. Post sundering any memories of Conner that would come back would be forgotten and let go of first because they were too painful to bear.

You guys should tell me about your Azems while I'm stuck here at work. Just anything about them! Their names, what they like to do, did they ever make any concepts, who they loved, etc... Anything!

Hell, even just any Ancient OC's you might have. It doesn't necessarily have to be Azem!

Swap Chat QOTD

Does your OC have a color strongly associated with them? (ie Alphinaud blue, G'raha red etc etc). If so, how did that come about? Was that a conscious decision in their character development? Are they aware of their color association?

Sib has a lot of bright bold pinks and purples, along with the more pastel shades of colors. This was a bit of a conscious/unconscious thing on my part. I solidified the general intensity but she picked the palette. She's more aware of the colors that look good on her and its also in part to her mother favoring the pastel pinks, purples, and teals/blues when she was younger. Color and intensity is such a vital part of her identity that it does bleed into her wardrobe choice throughout the story.

Demos is very earthy and this was more on my end since he has the forest and earth association as part of his aesthetic, he also happened to look very good in green and varying shades of it. Like He has to have green in his outfits somewhere or else it just doesn't feel like him, I also feel its his way of kind of standing out among the fashion of the realm that relies on the tans, browns, and red based colors, but still also blends into his surroundings. just a lot going on there.

Anthea is no surprise teal and peacock sapphire (which is teal in itself) and that fit the vibe that I was going with when I spent weeks just thinking on a nebulous idea of an oc that would work well with Hyth. I wanted them to have the darker palette since he was so light but also be so contrasting to their eye color so it would be a bit of surprise when he finally saw their eyes the first time. Teal as a color when looking it up for its meaning is meant more for calm and described as a shy color which fits Thea very well!

Deimos is someone that I associate with the colors of sunset, those yellows and orange, but maintaining that black color palette with his clothing while Phobos stands out a bit more having the browns. Which even beyond the societal conventions Deimos still chooses to wear darker colors and I can't really see him wearing anything else color wise that's not an accent. I would have to associate this with the fact that Deimos doesn't know who he is really and how much he wants to stand out so he's wearing it in a way that more signifies the mixing of all the colors, yet his personality is so vibrant you would forget that he's not wearing any other colors.

Iris has a more nude and pastel pink kind of vibe to her. She very much fits into this romantic academia aesthetic. This was not only a feeling but also as a way to juxtapose her looks being darker than Hades, but her clothing would ideally be lighter than I could ever see that man wearing in a modern setting. These are also colors that one could get away with most often in business like settings.

Stasia has a chrome white with silver and red accents association due to partially her vampire aspect in her original universe but its also a kind of way to show change and there being something new with her, along with a sense of perfectionism of the white. Stasia has many identities in her lifetime and has a need to control everything around her. It is also the color of her magic in her og verse and would ideally be the same in ff if there wasn't such a nature aspect to the way spells work, but in my head know that its chrome white when possible!

Conner has a more pastel blue, lavender, and sea foam green palette to him. Its much more subdued and reflects that of a foggy lush forest. He also does wear neutrals paired if possible lighter colored shirts in his og verse and the same would be said if he could in Ancient society. Conner very much is someone that likes to have fun and be a part of the world but he's got this guardedness to him that has him keeping it under wraps best as possible to not draw attention to himself.

Carly is gold with cream/white colors. She very much has this kind of early insta influencer aesthetic in her og verse that was meant to show off power and competence. Carly is bold and fiery like the sun but she's anything but a good character. She brings a very Shadowbringers vibes to the table in that light isn't always a good thing and can be destructive. It also just happened to go well with Zenos' color scheme and shows a solidarity and uniqueness with Stasia.

hehe anon, you opened a can of worms bc of course i have. soooo many. shoutout to my brother bc we talk abt these a lot so it's on him too <3

jimmy is bi and non binary (all pronouns). gary is ace and homoromantic. petey is poly i can feel him

already said this but peanut is bi and transmasc (he/him mainly but at times he's okay with any) one hundred percent. also vance is bi and hal is gay and they make mischief together <3 norton is non binary (he/they) and pan!! but he's not out at home bc his dad is. a cop which says a lot. lucky is ace and demiromantic but for a long time he thought he was only waiting for the right girl. ricky is bi i know that.

bif and derby are both gay i take no criticism and derby is trans. and justin is gay too but still processing. chad is bi and bryce is non binary (they/them) and bi too. pinky is a lesbian she told me herself. gord is bi and identifies as cisgender, but he is gender non conforming and to him it is a very important part of his queer identity.

crack headcanon (comic book nerd-iness & long text warning)

I headcanon that Const in a crack universe is a superhero/supervillain.

The fact that he’s in journalism in school as a teenager very much reminds me of Peter Parker/Spiderman

he’s nothing to everyone making him the least likely person to suspect (that’s just how I see it when it comes to his secret identity) not only that but he could even try to be a superhero/supervillain for the attention, he would write down crimes/his crimes and in the school paper and probably try to fight any clique.

his powers would be enhanced strength and he would possess a certain level of speed

while not Flash type of running, its still faster than how he usually is, that is if I’m remembering it correctly, if I’m wrong then he just has his strength.

I say enhanced strength as the horns on his headpiece when he does his charge attack leaves a dent on any hard surface.

while there might be people that would want to know who the mascot hero/villain is I think it would be hard for them as he has a very high health bar (might have enhanced endurance and/or maybe nigh-invulnerability) that would hopefully last long enough for him to win a few fights.

if Constantinos is able to harness his powers well enough then he could become so much more than he was before.

in terms of motivation I find what would fit with his character is that he would want it to be for attention as he’s always not even seen by anyone, someone who feels isolated, especially with his voice lines as the mascot where he lies about how the jocks respect him and how I find that he is the mascot out of a need to be seen and loved.

(Hero route) if he can grow more as a character and rise out of his potential asshole-ness, or if he’s always tries to be a good person, I find that he could then have his motivation be more out of empathy. He’d distance any connections of him and his superhero self if he hasn’t already and if he’s able to handle juggling his civilian and superhero life then he may be able to make a huge impact on the town and it’s school, he may even be able to make it a more safer place for himself and be able to be happy again. He could have someone with him, partner(s)/sidekick(s) or lover(s) (consensual polyamory relationships included when referring to (s) who he might tell his superhero identity to).

(villain route) if he always was an asshole or just a bad person in general (maybe Gary Smith type of bad) or he suffers tragedy, or just one bad day (killing joke reference intended) then he could break and finally become what he was always meant to be. His wrath in unleashed onto everyone from the cliques to those that will try to stop him then he will watch the whole world burn, possibly with an arm by his side wether it’s Gary in an alliance with him, or lover(s) who ride or die with Cosnt, or a partner in crime. Either way it could go could have Const revealing his identity either out is spite to make his enemies know how powerful he is or only revealing it to a select few he trusts the most, or only to his lover(s).

Oh okay! Well I'll answer for my azem and my main ancient oc!

Anthea is the researcher that created the Elpis flower back in their young adult days and its what led them to meeting Hyth! Anthea always loved flowers and are notorious for things going awry with their creations and the Elpis flower was that happy accident.

Deimos (aka Azem) came up with a few creations here and there but his main creation was the development of summoning creating the initial form of what would become known as the summoner job in the modern day. He worked with Lahabrea and mastered the art of creation and replication of concepts adding his own flair to them or limiting what they could do in order to help solve the problem at hand.

My other two Constantinos (Conner) and Iris do not have anything that they have created and that's simply because that was never their goals in life. Iris wanted to see what became of creations once released into the wild of the star and Conner just wanted to study plants, grow them, and figure out how they best could be mixed to help with various ailments.

Loves his children dearly, but he is pretty busy

He wants to make the world a safer place for his kids

Wants to teach them the importance of loyalty and alliances because he never was

The most time he spends with them is at holidays and birthdays, he’ll always make time for those

His kids kind of have to learn from an early age that their dad is a busy person, but also important

Won’t want to be like his father

So he’s certainly not sending off his kids like his father did

Wants to be their for them and raise them properly

That being said, he’s not without his rules

Being sultan’s kids, they have certain responsibilities and manners to uphold, as well as lessons

But at the end of the day, you’ll find him curled up on the couch, his child/children tucked under his arms
