I don't think anyone can fathom how badly I want to be compleated. I want the oil dripping down my skin as it seeps into my body. I want my eyes to flood red as my flesh becomes metal. I want porcelain skin and robotic tendrils and flesh-devouring mouths to open up across my body. I want to become horror as I cry and laugh and scream a song I've never heard before. I want wings to burst from my back as claws extend from beneath my fingers and my eyes drip oil.

I am not including Nicol Bolas and Ugin because I know they’d win.

This poll is intended to be a discussion on which Planeswalker would have been the greatest asset to New Phyrexia if they had actually been compleated from a lore perspective.

I want to know what people think!

I do have some important characters on the module, but the praetors couldn't be missing of course! And they all have the similar pattern:

A statblock beefy enough that any of them on their own could be the BBEG of a campaign

A set of permanent regional effects on their layer of phyrexia

A minion that can be heavily customized with a set of abilities for you to use

Elesh Norn in particular was the first one I made, and the one I am most proud of. And here you have her! Hope you enjoy using her as the Big Bad Evil Guy of your campaign.

Turns out the thing that was making me feel stronger was actually phyresis brought on my colleague’s glistening oil, not reading about Oryx. My Fey patron, Mr. Tillersby threw a fit at Yawgmoth when he found out my bones are turning into metal. Who would have thought the fey would hate machines, right? I will have updates after I check in with Ikora Rey.

I need to know what she bites like. I need to know how it feels to have the oil drip down her teeth and into your bloodstream. I need to feel the tendrils pulling my leg into her throat while my blood and her oil mix. I need to feel my body go numb as her esophagus massages away my will to fight. I need to feel steel sliding through my body as my skin is replaced with cold chrome and the incubation pod surrounds me. I need to feel the warmth leave my body as my pod lowers below her body, still pumping oil through my veins while my mind slips away. I need to feel my pod drop down and the pieces shatter as my cold eyes open for the first time and my teeth ooze oil. I need to feel my tendrils snake out and catch sight of more food for my mother.

similar to being a hexblood or a dhampir, it didn't feel enough to be a full subclass or class, but it was too much to be a race, so it was somewhat of an inbetween!

How March of the Machine could have ended (warning: huge spoilers from the film Martyrs)

(An immense assembly of Phyrexians gathers as Jin-Gitaxias starts speaking, unusually excited.)

Jin-Gitaxias: Yesterday afternoon, in this very place, Elspeth Tirel became compleat. Let us take a moment to pay our respect. Elspeth Tirel is a rare specimen. In our years long research, Elspeth was the fourth one to achieve the whole unity with the Multiverse and the first one - yes, my fellows - the first one to report what she's seen there. Yesterday, Elspeth Tirel saw beyond compleation directly. Her state of ecstasy lasted for two hours and fifteen minutes. Elesh Norn heard her true testimony and, my brethren, this testimony will be shared with you in just few moments.

(Everyone whispers and buzzes as Jin-Gitaxias reaches the Realmbreaker chamber and knocks at Elesh's door.)

Jin-Gitaxias: Sister, we are waiting.

Elesh Norn: (eerily calm) Very well, Jin.

Jin: (slightly anxious) She really told you?

Elesh: Of course.

Jin: Was it clear?

Elesh: Like the Glimmervoid.

Jin: And precise?

Elesh: I can see no other interpretation.

Jin: (relieved) I see, thanks.

Felt like trying my hand at some more compleated walker designs!

First, Chandra - the second design I drew, and my favorite of the three. I imagine that she could have willingly been completed, or just resisted Norn’s authority through sheer gay rage or something.

Next, Sorin - this was the last of the three I drew, but gave me so much trouble that by sketch number three I just decided to color it without inking. I might give this another try later.

Finally, mtg’s father of the year, Oko - the first design I did and the smoothest process by far. I just think he’s neat.

I might do more of these, so if you have any questions or suggestions for planeswalkers to compleat/redesign, I would love to hear from y’all!
