I have been obsessed with this indie game called Communite lately; wholesome multiplayer game where you build a world with tiles and kindness!

It’s like everything I wanted out of Minecraft survival servers, but without all the faff of plugins and leaderboards and economies and stuff. Just nice simple chill gameplay. I think I would have loved it ten years ago, but the present is good enough!

You can download it for free on itch.io and get it on Apple’s TestFlight platform and Google Play :D

(Windows only download, but if you have a Mac you can play the iOS port with TestFlight)

god the thing is. even if i dont even care abt 'going nonverbal' , even if i find the discussion about it nonproductive and annoying , even if i think it takes up WAY to much space in nonverbal nonspeaking communities , and is just stupid whatever terminology discourse. it literally doesnt matter. "nonverbal" as a word has been taken and twisted so much by speaking people that it literally doesnt matter if im exhausted by stupid terminology debates . cause the impact of it is always there ! ! ! !! i cant talk about my experiences without 700 speaking people taking my thoughts and words and making it about them. i cant use the label nonverbal without the disclaimer that i mean !! ALWAYS ! FULLY !! and its frustrating because there ARE similarities between speech loss and being nonverbal, there ARE similarities between being semiverbal and nonverbal and etc etc. and i WANT to be able to celebrate the commonalities and solidarity and everything !! but its so frustrating trying to talk about very specific parts of my identity !! who i am !! my life !! and always having to over explain and justify and im just very tired of online disabled spaces its so disheartening and frustrating

deeply refreshing to see someone critical of Swift who also like, genuinely likes her. Like i'm neutral to positive on her, but the online discourse has been absolutely rancid. flipping between "Taylor Swift has never done anything wrong ever and she's a fucking genius" and "Taylor Swift is the worst lyricist of all time and also a bad person" is exhausting, so thank you for like. nuance or something lmao

not to make it serious for a sec but i genuinely think that being able to like things that are bad is really important. like I think that it's an important skill to be able to look at something and see what you personally enjoy about it and then take a step back and acknowledge that objectively it's flawed. and to also be able to acknowledge that liking something isn't necessarily an identity or a moral stance. and i think that fandom space in general could really benefit from more people taking the time to learn how to do that. it's okay to like things that are bad

I honestly don’t know how I’m going to be able to face people I know voted for Trump. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to continue relationships with people who I know voted against the rights of women, the rights of minority communities, the rights of those belonging to the lgbtq+ community, the rights of migrants are the right to immigrate here.

How am I supposed to look at these people and tell them that it’s okay that they voted for bigotry and hatred? And non voters and people who voted third party too, how am I supposed to look at you knowing that you let so many people be damned to hell and back by not voting for someone who would bring upon some positive change?

How can I look at you and not see how you voted for misinformation, a lack of education, racism, misogyny, sexism, bigotry, homophobia, and more. I’m so tired of people not caring enough and I’m tired of the lack of empathy within this country.
