Been kinda quiet on here as of late, but wanted to post this WIP! I opened commissions up (there's two left, btw, dm if you'd like prices/a quote!) to help offset some emergency vet bills. Roxy's pancreatitis cost about 1K USD to treat, if not more for two weeks worth of turkey to help reset her stomach and pancreas. She's doing so much better though.

Commission for @clawsou of Hashtag (with a bonus of Fluffy Ears cause you can't have any of the maltobot kids without their favorite four-legged sibling, and.. well cause I adore cows and I love love love doing animal/wildlife art in general), taking in some of the scenery around her as she lines up a shot! Or a possible photo, she does love to take selfies after all.

Will work more on this hopefully this weekend, wanted to today since I took a half-day from work to get my aurebesh tattoo touched up now that it's healed but ended up passing tf out as soon as I got home. Forgot to flat in her tire and the grey on her shins below her knees. I want to at least, at LEAST, get the shading in this weekend.

My cat is having a medical emergency but I can't afford to take him anywhere out of hours (long story short some money got stolen) so I'm going to break my back doing comms so I can afford day vet tomorrow

The goal is set at £200 but it could absolutely be worse, last time around we were shelling out £800 for a smaller issue (but this was also out of hours care)

Anything helps, even the stupid little animals I have listed

His symptoms are laboured breathing, wheezing cough, goose cough, gagging but not throwing up, slightly goopier than normal eyes. He's also a known asthmatic.

They’ve credited you in the comments and everything, but I just wanted to give you a heads up in case they didn’t ask you first/if you’re not cool with it.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to feel about this!! On one hand I'm flattered that it was... "cool" enough to get shared to another site, but on the other hand I'm a little miffed that it was reposted in the first place?

I... is there even anything I can do here?? What is Reddit etiquette? I know reposting is pretty common there, and I'm not really inclined to report them or ask them to take it down if that's part of the post economy/ecosystem, you know?

For this piece, we really wanted to capture a young Azriel finally finding a place where he belongs. A mother figure to love him as her own, brothers who tease him lovingly not cruelly, a family he chose for himself, and a place to call home. One of the sweetest parts of this piece is the quiet joy and tenderness in Azriel's expression as he looks on his found family.

We can not thank aurithemoon enough for bringing this piece to life for us. She captured everything that we were envisioning in a way only she can. It is such a pleasure and honor to work with someone so talented, so accomplished, and so kind 💙

My first idea for this art was to focus on the dialogue from the Acosf Prison scene, where Cassian says “I can’t risk you” and this phrase was repeated at a time when they were alone, after Bryce returned the mask to Nesta, because I believe it is one of the reasons, among others, for Cassian to be “the most furious” person with Nesta in that situation. However, the same Acosf Prison scene develops in a way that allows me to believe that Cassian recognizes that he should believe her. So I decided that, in response to Nesta’s “I’m fine” after the worlds were safe, in part because of the decision she made, he would again respond with an “I don’t know why I doubted you”, because I want Cassian to increasingly allow himself to consider Nesta’s perspective first, instead of criticizing her in favor of others, especially in cases where she is the most appropriate person to assess the situation.

My dear Jaque made this wonderful illustration, which I was super excited to share, and I don’t have enough words to praise and thank her.
