Making a list of top Songs from 2017 is proving impossible. There were so many good comebacks this year, and we still have three months yet.

I must say "2017" has been an amazing year. I've met some amazing people, seen some amazing things and was able to accomplish many goals, some are listed in this post. Before I start listing them off I would like to say "Thank You 2017" for allowing me a second chance at a dream that I felt slowly slipping away! 2017 was my #ComeBackYear I was blessed by the #Grammys with a 5 Year Certificate to celebrate 5 years of being apart of the academy. My song "About You" was promoted on @SoundCloud 3 times reaching 200k+ in plays and "Future Dreams" is being promoted right now! 4 of my songs trended in 4 different cities on @Shazam City charts, "Future Dreams and "Experience (Eda)" Landed promotion from @iheartradio that allowed each song radio promotion on 30+ Urban Stations. I released a physical copy of "About You" and lowered the track price for the first time ever on #iTunes to .69! My artist page was verified on #Shazam @Spotify Verified my Label Page, Google+ Verified my Label Page and I launched a Website for my label as well. A few weeks ago I was invited to a meeting #Spotify hosted, I released a Remixed/Mastered album called "5 Years Of TooSmooth", and I just became an @Amazon Influencer. Plus if you tune into Spotify you'll hear one of my many ads playing! 2017 was a blessing and I can't wait for 2018. Big things are coming plus new music. New Year means...

So this is a New Year... It happens every year and people, being creatures of habit, will make New Years Resolutions that will be here today and gone tomorrow.  With that being said, a part of me likes it.  To me it's as if it allows people to feel a new sense of hope, a feeling of a fresh start, an allowance of forgiveness and a time to change.  Now we are who we are, but it is always a great thing to want to better yourself an to become a better version of who you are.  

As I reflect back on this past year (2013), I thought of all of my accomplishments, some small and some smaller :P  Let's reflect, shall we.  

My Accomplishments of 2013:

Moved into a new apartment (no roommates) 

Survived the biggest heartbreak of my life

Got my dog back (I love my Beijo!)

Watched 9 seasons of Grey's Anatomy in two months! (yes that is something to be proud of)

Went back to school and actually completed the semester

Changed jobs (from a stable job to a very unstable job)

Cut ties with necessary people 

I have a better sense of self

Those are the only things I could think of.  Like I said, small and smaller, but they are accomplishments nonetheless.  This past year as been rough on me, but it is more of a transitional year.  You need to crawl through the mud some times to know what it's like to be clean.  I have been on an emotional roller coaster.  I am not yet where I want to be, but I'm also not ready to give up.  

I continue to stay hopeful.  I continue to work on becoming the woman I hope to be and find genuine happiness, joy, and serenity in myself, without relying on others.  I am now a personal trainer and I spend my days trying to better the live's of others and I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing.  It may not be as touching the lives of homeless or helping the families in a third world country (hopefully I'll be able to do that too one day), but it is a start to helping people find self-happiness and working towards a healthier society.  

2014 will be a new year and it will hopefully be a "Comeback" year for me.  I need to embrace the fact that I cannot live forever in a day and that people will always come and go from my life.  I need to not take things so personally at times.   I have been called weird and sensitive a lot over the past couple of weeks and I think it's just because I am not understood... I need to just accept that those are the people I probably shouldn't be around.  Being strong enough to cut ties is impressive and will pay off in the end.  

Stay strong and embrace what you love.  Make changes that not only make you proud, but make others smile.
