I gave myself arms & hands cuz I thought it'd be funny and tbh I really vibe with the look of it.

you can see my design concepts and 2 other ideas for what species I'd be that I got from 2 different quizzes I took.

In the end I felt like the Pokeys deserve some love, they're just funky little cacti creatures <3

I'm sorry for being such a weirdo but I think these photos are genuinely beautiful and invite to be interpreted in paint. Big learning and really challenging work. Kinda interesting color study.

I made grids and helping guides digitally and printed the guides on A4 paper with my office printer. Then used chalk to transfer the grids and lines onto the canvas and kept painting from there. There's some slight proportional issue nonetheless so its not fully identical to the photo ref.

Okay this might be a silly question but I trust my loyal tumblrinas more than anything soooo... I have this paper lantern string light that I absolutely adore but idk where to put it?? It's currently on my curtain rod overtop of my curtains (not above but like on top of the curtains) but idk if that's where they should go. I have a few more string lights btw so if anybody has any fun ideas for them pls lmk 🙏

I get a lot of notepads and shit from charities and I wish they would just stop putting my full name on them. Like I can't use these as a grocery list bc it has my FULL legal name on it 😬 I have to either rip the top off every piece and shred the top or shred them all together like why...

The worst was the time one sent me a notepad that had: my full legal name AND ADDRESS on each page

Who the fuck would want that????
