Also I’ve been thinking about. WRT krissociation and possession theory. Hypothesizations I’ve seen that a big reason for possession fiction gaining a foothold in the USA is a combination OF (among other things) sanism and a fear of children no longer being ‘controlled’. But I should look into the actual literature there

i think you're entirely onto something there because this is something that informs a lot about why i take people who double down on possession theory in such bad faith by default. it's a bit disgusting once you understand the sociological implications, as are most fandom concepts, which are themselves extensions of the hegemony of the patriarchy extending itself through literature

Since Noelle seems to block out traumatic memories, I wanted to make a comic to explore how Kris might react to Noelle repressing the memory of whatever happened to Dess. I have a lot of holes in my memory of early middle/high school (just from medical trauma not my sister getting turned into an eldritch horror dw) so this was really cathartic to draw LOL I hope I got the point across well enough GAHHHH i feel like i mischaracterized Kris a bit
