PPG shippers can be so hypocritical

Just something I want to get off my chest but am I the only one who finds it funny that people will call ships like akubloss and Mojobloss (two ships I don't like but not the point of this post) because it's 'insest' (based on the fan theory that Aku is made from Chemical x and Mojo is another father figure/ a sudo brother/ somehow related (again not my reasons just what I've seen) but then ship colorcode (Blossick, Boomubbles Butercup)

The genderbend evil versions of the girls also made out of chemical x and consider Mojo to be their father.

I think the funniest one is from this prick on DA named escarietson (No matter what you ship I'd recommend blocking him) called AkuBloss insest for the reasons above. Yet not only does he ship colorcode (and lowkey rides Bricks dick) but ships the Professor with Ms. keane who in his AU has adopted the RRB. (Here's the comic he did of the girls and boys talking to their adoptive parents about puberty without even trying to age them up from their five year old designs. Lets all suffer together

“to hell with that!” fell retorted as he kept a death grip on fresh’s sleeves, his body shaking as he stood awkwardly on the skateboard that decorated in various stickers and covered in colourful graffiti. to be honest, he doesn’t even know how fresh managed to get him to do this. “keep tensin’ like dat n’ yer gonna get a charlie horse, ya dig?” “i’m bout to give ya a charlie horse if you keep playin’ with me.” fell threatened that made fresh laugh.

keeping his free hand on the latter’s back to support him, he gently guided him through the process of riding a skateboard. and while he was trying to be as supportive as he can, fresh couldn’t help but giggle a little when he would teasingly let go of fell. “fell, babygirl, it ain’t even dat hard. ya just gotta loosen up, ya get what i mean?” fresh instructed while walking with fell, who was as stiff as a statue on the board. “fu- funk no.” fell replied.

fresh snickered when he censored fell’s foul mouth, “ya know i gotcha, dollface. look, see? ya got it.” fresh praised as he subtly loosened his grip on fell to try and build up his confidence. fell kept his eyelights glued to his shoes as he wobbled a little bit. “this lame as fu- funk.” “brah, no it’s not. its very bodacious.” fresh defended with the writing on his glasses changing to the word ‘radical’, soon his hand that was on fell’s back moved away, however fell was still clinging onto his sleeves for dear life. “ya gon make us fall, babes.” “if im goin’ down, ya comin’ with me.” fresh snickered as he continued walking a bit with fell before he gave him a little push.

“ya doin’ great!” fresh called out after fell as he watched him skate down the street, pulling out his phone and snapping a quick photo of him, giggling to himself. meanwhile, fell was slowly gaining confidence in riding as he straightened up his back as let his body do what felt natural, still stiff as hell as the speed of the board picked up. “fresh? fresh!” fell called out that made the latter look up from his phone, causing fresh to immediately run after his boyfriend who was going fast as hell down the street. “baby, break!” “how!?”

fresh panted, using his magic to teleport closer towards fell, unable to get exactly where he was because his focus was torn between two things; the coordinates of where he needs to go and trying to get fell to break before he hurt himself. “your foot! no-! your other foot!” fresh yelled out, chasing after the other. he knew he should’ve worn his heelies.

successfully, fresh managed to gain enough focus to teleport in front of fell. however, his calculations were a little off because as soon as he landed, fell had crashed into him. the impact knocked the damn wind out of him as he made contact with the gravel of the street, the graffiti covered skateboard hitting him in the shin as his arms instinctively wrapped around fell’s body to try and break his fall.

“diggity dang, dude.. you good..?” fresh asked, his voice strained as he lifted his head up to see fell holding onto him for dear life with his skull buried in his jacket. “never again.” “agreed.” fresh let out a huff, giving fell one last squeeze. “i shoulda recorded dat- ow!” fresh yelped when he felt a punch to his ribs.

Lab Rats is a human au where Cobs has created 14 specimen as test subjects. Basically a "created in a lab" au. Some have powers relating to their objects, while some of them don't. Unlike Cobs and his family, the subjects have object names such as OJ, Taco, etc.

end of my fucking rope tuesday. this won't stop my coworkers because they can't read but the amount of topstock i found in fucking random aisles today was truly absurd. like we've graduated from putting it in the same aisle 16ft away on the opposite side (annoying but at least line of sight) to putting it in topstock in its unlabeled cardboard shipping box, three aisles away, in a different department.

other highlights of today:

i asked this kid to downstock One Aisle and he spent 3(?) hours standing over there doing, as far as i can tell, nothing. which dgmw i can respect. minimum wage => minimum effort but my man that wasn't even CLOSE to the minimum and you are actively making everyone else's lives more difficult!!!

hardware mgr tried to have someone else (the aforementioned kid who can't even put stock in the right spot!!!) do counts on stock, BEHIND MY BACK, AGAIN. so i started off the day with an argument with him. bc if im not shooting outs regularly enough for you fucking TALK TO ME. and i will tell you what i need, which is you to do your fucking JOB and MANAGE YOUR PEOPLE. and get on their asses to actually maintain their sections!!! i could do the whole fucking store in an hour if literally anyone else did their jobs!!!

got a new rope assortment in from a new vendor, hardware mgr packed up the old stuff for buyback but ALSO managed to pack up a bunch of the NEW stuff with it despite the packaging being a completely different color AND saying the new brand name, so i had to go digging in 15 different taped-shut boxes to find it back.

just some truly atrocious and annoying customers. girl if youre in a hurry that is YOUR problem for not planning. i cant read your mind and i cant give you an answer if you cant explain your problem to me.

got called "ladies" collectively about 8 times today by my coworker who a) does ABA as his other job b) asked me if ozzy was my "real name" and c) said he used to be a liberal but he thinks there are more important things than peoples' identities. we're mostly copacetic now though bc he sees how much work i do and also we've commiserated about the state of the educational system & when he was talking about how "boys and girls learn differently" i very lightly floated the "well, i don't think that's inherent necessarily, you know, like we're raised and taught certain ways to be from SUCH a young age, and kids pick up on stuff pretty fast," and he was like huh ive never thought about that. ill have to think about that. so not unsalvageable! just a particular Kind Of Guy.

they're doing work on the roof and they fucking broke the ancient drainpipe that runs through our upstairs backstock area, so theres like three totes worth of roof-water-soaked merchandise that i have to take out of inventory tomorrow. and everything else in that backstock area has a fine coating of rust flakes from the disintegrating ceiling. and i was paged up there to help sort thru the stock and like. there are THREE PEOPLE here today who actually have a manager title, which I DONT!!! so why cant the three of you take care of it!!! and i KNOW its bc im good at problem-solving and don't really say no and would do it faster than anyone else but god. come on. its putting wet stock in totes.

also in the last 30 min of my shift (in the hardware dept!!! doing inventory counts!!!) my coworker walkied Me, Specifically, even though i knowww they were fully staffed in cashiers and housewares today, to pick up a call from a specific problem customer ABOUT A HOUSEWARES PRODUCT. bro i know FULL WELL you are doing fucking nothing but online shopping on the work computer, you fucking handle it!!! im on a DIFFERENT FLOOR and im busy doing other shit!!!

“121.. 122.. 123..” the royal guard in training grunted out as he lowered his body down to the ground in time with his counting. somehow, he was struggling with such a simple workout which is very strange since he’s practically the strongest in the underground of his AU. well, he wouldn’t be struggling right now if there was a certain someone on his back right now. “c’mon blue. how are you gonna be my knight in shining armor if you can’t do a simple push up?” dust snicked as he sat comfortably on top of the latter’s back as swap did his pushups. to be honest, he doesn’t really care about swap getting that position in being a royal guard. obviously, he’s gonna support his boyfriend anyway that he can but he doesn’t understand why he’s so determined about it.

suddenly, swap felt a very noticeable change in dust’s weight that caused him to collapse from being caught off guard. blue magic? seriously? “d-dust! i’m gonna kill you..!” swap grunted out as he struggled underneath dust’s blue magic. “oh noo! gravity is crushing.. down on me..” dust lied dramatically as he snickered at the way the royal guard in training struggled against the heaviness of his blue magic. “no itsss nott!” “it is too, babe. same thing happened yesterday.” dust defended his obvious lie when he recalls the way he forced swap to stay home so he wouldn’t go to work by clinging onto him and holding him down with blue magic. dust chucked at swap struggle as he finally let up.

“124 pushups. proud of you, baby.” dust praised as he leaned forward and pressed his teeth against swap’s skull as a small kiss. “you’re horrible.” swap grumbled as he sat up which made dust fall off his back, making the latter chuckle. “awee, poor babyy.” dust cooed as he wrapped his arms around swap’s neck. “ugh, you stink. when was the last time you showered, dust?” “why do you always ruin a good moment.” dust rolled his eyelights at the comment. burying his skull into the blue fabric of swap’s scarf, smelling the familiar scent of cigarette smoke from papyrus and the smell of cologne. it was comforting to say the least.

“i just wanna hold you.. you’re always trainin’, we barely get to see each other. you don’t even call me anymore.. i miss you, blue.” dust admitted as he tightened his hold on swap slightly. swap had to admit, he was being neglectful. it’s not like it’s his intention, he’s just so busy with everything that he barely has time for dust anymore. “i know, i’m sorry. i just..” swap sighs as he left his sentence unfinished, not knowing how to excuse his actions. “just stay with me.. that’s all i need. please?” “of course, sweetheart.”

So I'm apart of the PPG fandom and one thing that always bugged me is how a lot of colorcode shipper anti's (Blossom x Brick mostly) will cry P*edophila at any ship that isn't their otp, but have no issue's shipping genderbends (and I say this as someone that does like a color code ship). They will also ignore how Mojo could be either a second father figure or sibling depending on the interpretation, so double incest.

So, you know how I sometimes mentioned a devil may cry/dmc devil may cry crossover? That's Riptide

Basic setting is that reboot Vergil ends up in the classic dmc timeline post dmc4 as a child after somehow managing to travel between the two verse with the Yamato with all his memories because Sparda didn't/failed to wipe both he and Dante memories, and because of that, Vergil (who quickly ends up being nicknamed Vee) is not having a good time

Meanwhile in the reboot timeline, Dante isn't having a much better time as a kid on the streets. He meets Kat in limbo during one of her projection in there, he helps her out with the whole situation she has going on with her dad being a demon and all that and when they're around 17 they create the DmC, which is pretty much the same as The Order, but with a much more hands-on approach since they don't have the same tools Vergil has in the reboot. They run it under the pseudonyms Tony and Lady (yes, Kat gets a rocket launcher if you wonder) and that's where these two come in ; that's Nero and Kyrie, also known under the pseudonyms Angelo and Alice.

They're respectively a half-demon and a half-angel hybrids who work with the DmC in exchange for help with keeping low. And that's where I kinda cheated in the prompt because these two are not shipped together in Riptide, at least not in the reboot, they're colorcoded besties.
