Sooooo UPDATE ON FLORIAN THE FANKID!!!!

I made a chsrscter sheet and such of her~

It looks very rough I know, but it's mildly the thought and creative process thst counts!

Some facts about her and her front, side and back! Along with the colors of her of cource of cource. [Lore under the cut!]

Dr. Robotnik created her as stated, in order to have this perfect ultimate thief to steal the chaos emeralds for him, and potentially kill anyone in his way. She was going to be raised and trained by him to perfectly take out Sonic and others who would stand in his way.

He's worked with Clutch and Nack/Fang on numerous occasions, so it it wasn't the hardest thing to get bits of their DNA here and there to create Florian.

Her project name is Chrysoberyl, referring to how those are a good luck and fortune charm of a gem, and can be roughly mistaken for emeralds. They're also beloved to high-end ones awesrness!

Her cloning tank (??I guess that's what they're called?) Was labeled C-045 because she was the fortyfifth and final attempt at being created. The others simply turned to liquid or never developed properly. Needing robotic parts then shutting down soon after, a real mess in the lab.

While this final attempt to have her "Grow Slower" to ensure she developed right, and with the now mixing of DNA (the others where as just clone attempts no splicing) was perfect on the surface level, it still raised some issues....He never implemented a failsafe into her DNA and never took into account *mild* mutations.

Nothing serious, but when the unlikely and mildly bickering pair that are Clutch and Nack wandering through the twisty halls of Robonik's lab, they accidentally stumbled on the room, and after some sickening horror freed her, and the place ultimately mildly definitely caught fire because of course it did it's just their luck.

The idea of the FailSafe being implemented into her DNA would have just ensured she either A. Didn't make it long outside of the sure before she was ready, or B. Return to him and act in X manner at a certain age....he never did that, because frankly he didn't think of it is all, he never thought anyone would find it.

The "DNA Mutations" aren't much of a mutation, and are very harmless. But there comes an issue when you combine much younger DNA with older DNA, and when one has leg problems* no one knows about.

In other words, even if she stayed in the tube, she would still be wobbly. She's extremely wobbly, and can't do much, granted she's meant to be a baby and toddler ish age? But the fact is, she crawls better than standing, although often tends to curl up and sleep or cry because she needs some little extra knee paddings. Sensitive needy sickly little thing.

Her favorite thing is Clutches Coat. It's what she was wrapped in upon being freed from the chamber, and she is often hiding inside it or holding onto it while he goes about his day like normal. She also likes Nack's hat, it's fun to hide under.

Her other love, are chao! She has a plush chao she carries around/drags and chews on that has a bell inside of it. She's very gentle despite being extramly grabby and bitey...just...likes to chew on stuff and is extramly curious!

Nack named her! Clutch sadly couldn't properly come up with a name, even though it was his idea to save her- it was Nack who named her Florian.

She lives in this Tshiet Nack got her with a Chao on it and it makes Clutch mad because she needs proper clothes outside of a t-shirt that's massive on her and socks..

Clutch got her a necklace she wears constantly and tries to somtimes chew on.

She looooves wrapping her tail around stuff, it makes her extramly happy and she likes to dangle from places for short periods of rime until she gets woozy.

Very wobbly, woozy, dizzy little thing. They think she wasn't quite done in thr tube yet, but can't be certian.

When the lodge gets ultimately destroyed, Clutch actually asks Vanilla to watch Florian while he gets a new place situated and work finished. Nack also is nicer to them all.

Nack is mkre distant wirh Florian becuse he's scared he'll hurt her by accident, but really loves her just is scared is all.

Clutch either had s kid before or always wanted to be a dad because he's instantly good with her and knows exactly what to do.

*[I read that Nack prefers to bounce on his tail because his legs are slow? Or bad and saw a Tumblr post about it and I as the local man who limps took that to heart and decided he has bad legs- thus Florian also has very bad legs.... and also she wasn't done in the tube quite yet.]

sonadow fankid blast 💥 meet Breaker! his twin is up next 🕺

primarily takes after Sonic, taking over the day shift of watching Green Hills and the 'hero' mantle. beloved face. helps grandmas across the street. avid errand runner. has helpful big brother/camp counselor vibes!

🌖 At first I named him Breaker as a shorthand for 'daybreak' (his twin being named Dusk) and thought it was stupid (bc Sonic would name his kid something stupid) but the more i thought about it.. the more it worked.. windbreaker…. circuit breaker…a breaker being a heavy sea wave connecting to Sonic's fear of water..breaks/brakes… mm wordplay

very aloof! enjoys life. loves hiking. he loves anything with a good view. prefers to take it a day at a time, if given the choice. has a curiosity and interest in the powers and skills of others he's incredibly strong w/ powers including electricity + Chaos Control/time-space manipulation (and still wearing limiters)

he is extremely tactical with when and how he uses Chaos Control. With new opponents Breaker wouldn't use his Chaos Control, relying on speed and fistpower. If he did, he'd make it seem that he was just extremely fast getting places, using the shadows of his opponent and surrounding environment to slip between places

ever since he was a little, Breaker’s always come out on top. he’s always looked up to heroes, naturally- after all both their fathers were. and he’s settled into the role quite nicely, one of Green Hills’ very own, and just as beloved. all the townsfolk know him, all the women fawn over him, a true bonafide role model. But even his twin brother Dusk wonders/isn't sure if thats really what he wants or if its simply a role he’s acclimated to.

Breaker has a bit of an iceberg to his character. Most people see the very top layer, what they see day-to-day of the young aloof Mobian heralded as "Sonic and Shadow's son". there's something else that goes on beneath..

his powers essentially distort him from living the same wavelength as others. Like that moment in Sonic Prime where Sonic is going so fast, time has essentially stopped for everyone else. Tapping into this power has led him to believe he is invincible in ways, but not entirely. he enjoys all the scuffs, he enjoys what life has to throw him, his friends, etc. It keeps him grounded. as a result, he has a curiosity when he finally gets to dance with danger one-on-one like the average Mobian. he appreciates any opportunity to throw himself into dangerous situations because he enjoys the thrill of possibly getting hurt, as the pain allows him to feel 'mortal'.

One of his core principals is that he doesn’t want people hurt. He wants people safe. But sometimes it's unsure if thats the case or if its because he wants other people out of his way so he can set the stage between just him and his opponent.. and thus, minimize the collateral damage/cleanup.

He is rather tactical outside of battle too and does especially well in social settings. he already has the chops for it, being charismatic from the getgo, but he knows how to set people/things/his environment up in ways that would allow him to get to that final push for things to go his way without anyone being aware he had pulled any strings at all. he is incredibly observant, always picking up on the finer details. his hobby for people watching both comes in clutch as a both hobby he truly enjoys and something that could help him in future instances.

Whether Breaker wants to admit it or not, he cares about his image. Although his swagger is already quite effortless, he cares how the townsfolk perceive him, not just for the sake of vanity or narcissism but because he understands that people need an idol- they need guidance. That's what his dad was, and that's what he's for. It's what the stars were here for-- people had to look up somewhere for answers. He understands that he is something like a guiding light, a north star- but if they choose to refuse him, it's no skin off his back bc that’s their choice. He doesn't interfere with the choices people decide to make for themselves.

Breaker is a weird paradox character. where he's direct and very upfront, he is also so incredibly indirect about stuff too. Bro's always contradicting himself which makes it very hard for anyone to really pinpoint just what he's thinking beyond what they might know from the "hero" image he shows off.

Being good is a choice for him. But it's a choice he doesn't think about and something he's trained himself to wholeheartedly believe is instinct, as he doesn't believe himself to be a bad guy (and he isn't!) But it's like making a lie real and true.

Breaker, like his brother, has his own brand of isolation. Because of his powers, he lives on a different wavelength to other people. Always looking things through a window. He can look close enough to pretend the glass isn't there, that he's with there with everyone else, but there still exists that separation. So he chases after whatever makes him feel 'alive' and in the moment with everyone else.

Do Chucky and Till end up having kids?

@yellowandanxious4eva and I love any opportunity to make fankids so we have decided that they do!

Meet Sandi, Zachary, and Glenn! These three are triplets, born from a clutch of octopus eggs laid not too long after Chucky and Till married. They sure do give their parents (and everyone around them) a run for their money with their very different personalities, which are as follows:

Sandra “Sandi” Dorothy Dompler - The independent little rebel of the family, she has a mind of her own and never hesitates to follow her own whims. She causes a lot of mischief whether that’s running away from her parents or picking fights with her brothers (as shown here) but it’s mostly in good fun.

Zachary Charles Dompler - The middle triplet, he’s inquisitive but also can be sort of haughty in a way. He likes to explore and ask questions but does so kind of bluntly (ex: asked his grandma “why are you in a wheelchair are you lazy” when he was like 3). He acts like the moral authority of his siblings and can be arrogant in their bickering, but is also a momma’s boy who’s protective of his family.

Glenn Limber Dompler - Basically Chucky on steroids, he’s VERY clingy and sensitive. He has six limbs with suction cups, so when he latches on, good luck getting him off! He’s a big daddy’s boy so Chucky gets to experience what he put his Mama through.

Picnic

A/n: All this fankid stuff made me write this

  The moment seemed perfect. Rory sat on one end of the picnic blanket while Ace sat on the other, his hands kept their young daughter steady on her chubby legs. Rory called out to Jane to urge her to take a step toward him. He felt so warm, from the setting sun shining on them all, and the love that circulated through his veins as if it was second nature. He laughed as Ace helped Jane take a step, then another. Rory noted how soft Ace looked like this, his skin glowing and eyes shining with a warmth to them compared to the mischievousness from their NRC days. Soft coos and high-pitched cheers comically left his mouth as the little girl awkwardly stepped towards Rory. 

  “Come on sweetheart, you can do it!” Ace urged her on. Once she reached Rory’s outstretched hands the whole family cheered. “There you go!” “I knew my little starling could do it.” Rory booped her nose with the tip of his finger. “You mean my firecracker.” Ace would’ve kept pushing until frustrated whines began to leave her lips, her legs kicking out into the air. Grim moved out of the way lest he wanted to get kicked. “I think she’s done walking today.” He pointed out. “It is getting late.” Rory noted as the sky began to darken and fireflies lit up over their heads. 

  “Yeah…” Ace plucked up Jane out of Rory’s arms and helped him to his feet while they cleaned up the end of their picnic. 

  Ace cradled the girl to his chest like he would when she was far smaller than she was now. She seemed quite set on throwing a fit mere minutes ago, but melts into her dad’s arms with a small giggle when he pokes her sides with his fingers. 

  Rory felt himself melt at the sight. He leaned over and saved their daughter from her dad’s ticklish clutches in a clean scoop into his arms. “Aw, c’mon-“ he began until his eyes drifted to a group of fireflies that flew in front of them. The baby’s attention is immediately drawn to them and she reached out a chubby hand to them. Ace imitated her action but successfully caught one in his hands. 

  He seemed giddy as he carefully cupped his hands to show her the blinking bug. “Waw!-“ She leaned forward and wrapped a hand around one of Ace’s fingers to steady her wobbly self. She gasped as she admired the firefly before it flew off. 

  “Oh, someone’s getting sleepy.” Ace pointed out as he wrapped the blanket around Rory so he could take Jane into his arms again. Rory shivered from the brisk October wind and curled the blanket tighter around him. Grim moved from Ace’s shoulders to Rory’s. 

  Ace held her like a newborn, rocking her and ghosting light kisses on her forehead. Soon enough her eyes fluttered shut and the only sounds she made was small snores.   One of her hands still tightly grasped Ace’s shirt and the other curled by her face, like the little princess that Ace taught her to be. 

  Rory smiled fondly at them both and leaned over to kiss Jane’s forehead as well. They continued their trek to the bus stop. “She’s getting so big so fast, eventually she’ll be too big for you to carry her like that.” He said. Ace shook his head, “I can still carry you just fine so, I’ll carry her until she tells me to stop.” He returned. Rory doesn’t say anything to that, he took note of the sentimental gleam that shown in his fiery irises. 

  “Do you think we’ll get the house?” Rory wondered aloud. Ace nodded, “I wouldn’t doubt it. It would be great being closer to the station.” “And I would love to live in this area.” “Mhm.” A peaceful silence washed over the small family.

  Rory wouldn’t say this out loud but this kind of future was one that he could only dream of. If you told him before NRC, or even during, that he got married and has a wonderful daughter, he would’ve laughed in your face. 

  But now, it was a future he wouldn’t dream of living without.

Hi there I love your design for a Romy fankid, she is so cute!!! I was wondering do you have any headcanons about Rogue's pregnancy with her? I bet Gambit was the most ecstatic father to be ever!! Anyways that's all I wanted to ask. Love your blog :)

Oh yesssss well it goes in few directions

One if she has control of her powers, and two if she hasn't.

#1 If she has control of her powers:

Girl has been touch starved for years. Once she can touch people she cannot keep her hands off of Gambit. It's only a matter of time till she gets pregnant.

When she does, the mutant morning sickness is NASTY

She's having weird bouts of powers she's previously absorbed. Just split seconds of them after sudden nausea.

Girl is terrified she has lost control of her powers again some how goes straight to Hank.

After assurance that she's just pregnant she's now nervous how Gambit will react

They weren't planning for kids after all. What if he doesn't want it? He seems like the child free type of guy

He's overjoyed tho. Lifts her up and swings her around

Cooks her all kinds of BS. Pulls out the old family cookbooks, steals a few old family cook books from the assassin's guild, sweet talks some old church ladies into giving up their secret recipes.

Makes her non alcoholic banana foster and versions of their favorite fruity drinks

Baby shower is incredibly extravagant and weirdly themed like a casino. Cause he thought it would be fun

There is no gender reveal party but Remy does take bets on the birth gender at the shower. Cause he is a gambling man. Options are: doctor will say girl and be right, doctor will say boy and be right, doctor is wrong about the gender, doctor mentions any obvious mutant traits before the gender (winner gets to pummel doctor for this)

He's not over bearing or super protective. She's still rogue she can handle things herself

He will spoil the fuck out of her tho. Relentlessly.

Instead of pink or blue they go for royal purple for the baby's room.

He handles her mood swings ok. To him it's just rogue but more

Gambit talks to the baby in her belly often pretends to have conversations

Remy talks to the baby bump in Cajun french. Wants the kid to be bi lingual

He comes up with ridiculous nicknames for the baby which last beyond the birth despite rogue's best efforts to stop him

Rogue dealing with worries about being a good mom considering her history with moms, biological and adoptive

Gambit fucking adores how her body has changed. Absolutely worshiping her at times. She's so confused. "Ah feel like a potbelly pig and you think this is sexy? Ah always knew you were a strange man Remy...."

Gambit Will fight any doctor that tries to refuse to take her. So will rogue even while currently in labor

Gambit accepted from the start his hand was gonna get broken in that ER and takes a shot of whiskey and marches in there like a man when it's time to push.

Rogue cries when the baby is born. Refuses to let anyone hold her for a while, clutches her close

#2 Rogue can't control her powers but gets pregnant anyways

Rogue and Gambit still have sexy times but with lots of body cover and condoms obviously.

The condom broke at some point not enough to cause skin to skin contact but enough to let stuff through

Neither of them realize that she gets pregnant from this for a few months

They didn't think she could she thought she'd essentially just miscarry cause of her powers

When she finds out she panics. Gambit is excited but she's so worried she's gonna kill her own baby on accident

Which Gambit knows that much worry will absolutely cause a miscarriage

So his goal is: keep her lowkey as possible

House husband mode engaged.

Rogue is acting reckless for a bit. Sure she's gonna miscarry or it's just gonna disappear one day. Pushing to keep fighting and working like normal. Refusing to plan for the baby to come. Gambit catches her trying to drink coffee and take Tylenol to deal with nausea

They have an argument. Gambit finally says "Does rogue actually want dis bebe? Just be honest wit Gambit. I will understand!"

She breaks down. Admits she wants it but doesn't want to get her hopes up.

"my powers can only destroy things it's only a matter of time before this poor thing suffers the consequences"

He calms her down "you don know dat, chere. Da bebe has survived dis long...mebbe dey Gon be fine cause dey part of you?"

"what about after they're born huh? What if I can't hug my child without hurting them remy? What kind of mother will I be if I can't nurse, I can't kiss my child's forehead, can't hold them close."

"you'd still be a good mama. Cause you already worrying so much bout dem. We'd find a way to make sure our baby knows how much you love dem."

This calms her down

he convinces her to get an ultrasound the next day and she tears up when she sees the little thing, moving around she renews hope.

She's celebrating every little milestone.

Some nights staying up late talking to her baby in her belly

"I may not be the best mama....I'm sorry if I can't hold you as close as some can their own....but I will love you no less. No matter how you come out."

They pick out special mittens for rogue to hold their baby. Get a breast pump so she can still give milk. All just in case.

When she gives birth Gambit is there with a falconry glove. He knows his hand is still gonna be broken but she needs to still be able to touch it.

When the baby is finally born a nurse hands her to rogue cause she doesn't know her powers

She shrieks at first as her skin touches hers....but as skin touches skin nothing happens

She cries in relief as she's able to hold her baby, nuzzle her close

3# she can't control her powers and She can't get pregnant because of her powers....but they have a forge to solve this problem

Gambit and rogue want to have a baby but don't think they can have one

They go to forge and Hank for advice cause a human fertility clinic would be no use

The two have come up with a perfect solution: an artificial womb. It still needs to be surgically attached for blood flow between parent and child and delivering nutrients but it can be attached to any person, female or male or non sex individual.

Gambit volunteers to carry

Rogue is concerned for him thinks he lost his mind but he insists

It's attached to his belly and grows as the baby needs space with a set due date. It's heavy already to start with, and is just gonna get worse

Has to be on a strict diet to make sure the kid is getting good nutrition. Also hormones have to be introduced daily to the amniotic fluid For the baby's sake. Thankfully don't affect him too much

But he does get some mood swings as a result and tiredness.

And his back hates him.

But it's worth it for the baby.

The worst part is not being able to drink

mardigras is the WORST this time round

Calls himself the world's saddest king cake

"da tings Gambit do for ya feve"

Also yes his nickname for the baby while in the incubator is "feve" cause it looked like a bean when they first saw it on scans.

He's slightly upset about being left behind on missions for a while until he realizes it means he can be lazy with his cats

Rogue is concerned at first. Feel this is all a bit uncanny, but loves being able to cuddle the baby belly and gets used to it quickly

He's constantly talking to the belly like he's having convos with the baby. States the baby's "arguments to things" (really his)

Rogue feels a little insecure about not being the one to carry at first. Like she doesn't deserve to be called mom but over time gets used to it.

They have a heart to heart about it

Starts joking that Shes the dad and he's the mom.

The birth is easy, chamber gets opened and baby pops out like a literal bun in the oven. but the womb has to be surgecally removed after wards.

Daddy has to recover but he gets cuddle time with baby first.

Also rogue can touch her baby still in this one

I haven't even made any Clutch x Lucia art and I just jumped right to the fankid WHOOPS LOL Meet Cyra! Cyra is just as cunning and manipulative as her father, Clutch the Opossum. However, thanks to her mother Lucia Fox, she DOES have a soft spot for certain individuals. Mainly Riot and Crash, her childhood best friends...aaaand her employees. Cyra takes over the mercenary work despite Lucia and Clutch being immortal by this point. She knows how to swindle cash from others as well as expensive goods to sell for herself. But she's not totally heartless and tends to give money or said goods to those that need it more than the company or her family needs. She rarely keeps anything for herself. She has twin mini pistols hidden under the sleeve of her sweater courtesy of Clutch. Otherwise she also has kitsune flame abilities from Lucia. But she tries to keep out of fights unless absolutely necessary. Her relationship with her parents is...well relatively healthy. Clutch has a tendency to be overprotective of her. She is close to Crash and Riot as they all became childhood best friends. She holds the kitsune bell handed down from Lucia very close and rarely lets it out of her sight. If it is, she does have her rare moments of breaking down.

Favourite Elemental Power: Hmmm water maybe? It's hard to say objectively what my favourite is but water has a really cool vibe to it and I've drawn Ocean Nya like a gazillion times so 🤷‍♂️

Favourite Ship: Survivalshipping! I'm obsessed with Garmadon having this second chance at love and life and Vinny helping him on this path to really discovering himself and being the best version of himself he can be, y'know? I also gave them a fankid because I have chronic Give That Man A Child syndrome (and I think Garm deserves a chance to actually raise a child this time)

Headcanon I Have: As the Ice Emperor, Zane would often sleep on the throne (not every time he slept, but frequently), and when he came back to Ninjago he had trouble sleeping in his bed and for a while would be found sleeping in chairs instead, sometimes even clutching a broom handle or bo staff to mimic the comfort his sceptre provided.

Introducing Nettle the Adder and her mum Thistle(?) The Adder! Nettle is my first fankid oc, I've wanted to make one for ages and back in September?? I came up with her and only now finally drawn her bfjfkfkgmgk

Thistle has a sketchy history, mingling with many unsavory characters, eventually she makes a mistake and ends up with baby Nettle. This is it for her and she makes a break to start off better for her kid's sake... that's the idea anyway, old habits and all that, she's got a smuggling chain going to keep her and Nettle supported. Nettle grows ups semi aware of this and her mum's somewhat illegal activities but Thistle always ensures she stays far away from any harm, especially anything to do with her father. Unfortunately, the inevitable happens and Nettle is the perfect leverage to ensure Thistle's smuggling routes can be used for yet another unsavoury cause. Little kiddo gets swiped by the eggman empire but released, unharmed as promised, back to her momma. This is unfortunate, but at least her father still knows nothing of her existence... until some idiot lets that unwittingly slip. Oops.

Clutch (yes her dad is Clutch hffkdklfjg I said fankid didn't I?) Doesn't care in the slightest but Nettle is pretty upset when she finally realises :]

Update on the sweet little test-tube chamber baby~ Florian!!

A big concept I'm working on, this is....still a concept piece, but I'm hoping it'll turn out fun and well!

(If you scroll down you'll see another big piece I did recently and damn they take a while...)

Anyways! Say hi to...vita chamber baby Florian!! (I'm not.sure what those things are called..) she was made by Robonik in hopes of trying and growing her to be the perfect theif and sniper, with Nack and Clutch's DNA and they found her by accident and wind up taking her home becuse it's horrifying and well they couldn't stand the sight or idea of it.

Her project name is Chrysoberyl which can be mistaken as an emerald in some rare cases, (a rather bad one but still) and then it's seen as a good luck and fortune gem! And meant to highen your awareness and senses!

Nack named her Florian 🥺

She's softer looking, and both the perfect combination of the two, and still..odd? Definitely softer looking, she was ment to be grown into this perfect approachable and trust worthy person as a means to better gain trust and steal things-

But the process was interrupted and now she's a cold, but sleepy baby being held by Clutch constantly.

.....I'm thinking about making a fic out of this frankly.
