Thank you! Here's some explanations for his design 🙃

I basically just took cannon Yakumo and stretched him!

I tried to make him as narrow as possible without it looking too weird! (Because snake)

thigh gap, wide shoulders and thin limbs are a focus :)) since cannon Yakumo has allat, I just decided to exaggerate them more

Also for his face, I have a pretty minimal style for faces (like literally 5 lines and 3 circles) and capturing someone's likeness is both easier and extremely difficult. For Yaku I tried to capture his unique eye shape, and I wanted to make his nose more snakelike

His face shape is elongated like his body, and I gave him pointy ears, because I wanted something to distinguish yokai from humans. Garu and Kuya also have them :))

As for posing and expression.......I try to make him look as worried as possible. Very closed in even when in an open pose, cuz he's an introvert like that!!!

Honestly if y'all wanna see how I headcannon/stylize other members of the clan, just ask :))

Yakumo x Quincy x Dante

alas i am: unfortunately the worst person to ask for opinions on dante ships because i barely know dante??? as a character???? let alone anything to do with him sexually. he is a mysterious and wild beast to me, i admire him from afar and yet, for reasons unknown, i cannot get any closer to him. we will have to consult some dante experts on this topic!!!

but vaguely, with my limited understanding of dante and my experience with quinte and yakudante?? i can see it. i am picking up what you’re putting down.

dante gets to act confident in quincy’s presence because he assumes the shy, meek yakumo doesn’t know anymore about sex that he does. unlike quincy, who everyone knows is experienced and good at using every part of his body, yakumo.. yakumo’s probably just as much as a virgin as dante is!!! and technically he’s right, it’s just that yakumo’s strong desire to make his partner(s) feel good makes him an excellent learner, meanwhile dante’s stubbornness and unwillingness to accept the fact that he’s not great at everything on the first try isn’t a weakness is.. well. he winds up in situations like this.

regardless, dante thinks he has yakumo under control, he thinks he knows how this interaction is going to go, only for quincy to smirk in that stupid attractive way he does because the difference between normal yakumo and yakumo in the bedroom is like night and day. dante has no idea what he’s getting into.

needless to say dante learns quite a few things, from both quincy and yakumo. quincy’s a good and patient teacher, while yakumo and his unexpectedly lewd but honest reactions are wonderful motivation. he begins to understand that not immediately knowing what his partner(s) love isn’t a weakness, but rather an opportunity to improve. he’s not going to be perfect at everything on the first try, and that’s okay. no one’s going to judge him if he makes a mistake, or fumbles, or shows vulnerability.

maybe he also cries a little along the way. who’s to say ♡

LAST NIGHT I HAD A DREAM (art included, "view more" to see it)

Basically, Yakumo, Dante and Quincy were out on a date (yes all 3 of them)

And they wanted to try out this new boba shop

Unfortunately they're all the tallest clan members and the entire thing was run by little people -(I cannot explain this it was literally just a tiny boba shop with little people employees-) and because of that none of them could fit except for Yakumo 😭

So Yakumo had to brave his social anxiety and O R D E R for all of them.

And then they had a really cute forest walk while drinking boba (Dante didn't like his boba, I remember him saying it was too artificially flavored)

And I had to draw this.

Also can we talk about this ship? Literally the only thing they have in common is be tall. And I guess cook? Fsgshhs I think they're really hot together tho! I can picture both Dante and Yakumo laying on one of Quincy's boobs each.

This is literally quiet x anxiety x confidence

I think Dante can teach Yakumo how to be more assertive

And in turn both Quincy and Yakumo can teach Dante how to be more patient
