hey honest question, did anybody have GOOD stuff happen to them in 2024? cause it was really bad for me and for most people i know, so it would be nice to hear about anything that's been going WELL for any of you. even if it's small stuff. just to know there's light out there.

Not a regular art summary, but here's a compilation of every drawing from my 2024 weekly Metal challenge!! It's satisfying looking at all of them together :]

I DID IT!! I'M FREE!!!

Well, my self imposed challenge maybe over, but I'll definitely keep drawing Metal!!! I love him even more than I did at the beginning of the year somehow

I got a little burnt out near the end but I'm proud of myself for finishing it!!! I've never rlly managed to complete art challenges like this (like ship weeks or any sort of inktober type thing) but doing smth once a week was more doable, if still a bit stressful. I think I've drawn more this year than I ever have in previous years, and my goal of being more comfortable with drawing Metal Sonic has been reached!! With the added bonus of people now associating me with him :D

With that said, I'm probably going to take a bit of a break from drawing. Not long - like maybe a month (if that). There's some other things I want to concentrate on! But I'm still here, and my ask box is always open (I will do my best to answer all the old asks still sitting in there too skfjgjdh)

So, here's to 2025!!! Thanks for sticking with me :]

it is so dang funny to me that there is this cultural pressure for artists to be modest about their art. 'you cant say your own book is five stars' WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO RATE IT FOUR? buckaroo if you create ANYTHING from your heart it has all the grand cosmic uniqueness you do. CELEBRATE YOURSELF
