This is the first post-Wednesday without a Bad Batch. Maybe you've emotionally moved on. I made this to pick off that scab. That's how it felt making this anyway. Sad scenes and happy scenes are from the entire series are set to Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
Ironically, I swore last Tuesday night/Wednesday morning would be the last I'd stay up late because of The Bad Batch. But next thing I knew, last night it was nearly 1am, and I just wanted to push this through to completion.
Recently I've been thinking about self-shipping more actively with General Grievous/Qymaen jai Sheelal - he's been on my secondary f/o list anyway but I've found myself thinking more about him again in the past weeks. I just have no idea what kind of self-insert or oc to make for shipping with him😅
I originally fell for this guy the first time when I was about 13, without knowing what self-shipping even was, but my taste in this type of fictional characters was apparently already set back then (even if it took me a couple more years to admit it). In the Legends timeline my poor coughing cyborg boy actually has a pretty sad backstory, he could need some love I think <3
in the time travel lance au, how much did lance tell the team/lotor? do they know hes from the future and that hes lance and how much things went to shit, or is he keeping the info from them(i mean you said hes doing that, but im curious as to how much hes actually letting them know)? also wait hold on. does the whole time travel situation mean that there are TWO lances running around now??
Pretty sure Lance tells them absolutely nothing. Just absolutely nothing. Fuck All. At best you can expect from him is vague riddles, very specific advice, and a 10-minute long call out session in Lotor's case where he drags him for every issue he ever had and after which he fucks off to do god knows what. And while Lance does try to keep his identity hidden, not to mention lets just say he is Off Putting enough to the point that the aliens do not connect him to any of the humans (except Kuron who recognized a movie reference).
And there are two Lances running around, though because of future!Lance, Shiro didnt reach Earth and instead he met Allura who got out from cryopod earlier
AMV nostalgia posts are always funny cause everyone in the notes always talks about like Naruto or Warriors but I don't watch anime and I only read like the first Warriors book and liked it but not enough to read the others. So I can only relate to liking the songs used but not the subject matter. 99% of what I watched was superheroes and Star Wars with the occasional Transformers or Ninjago for added flavor.
Hunter and Omega's relationship is very near and dear to my heart and this scene made me cry like a baby. This song is also so them coded. Please enjoy my pain.
