Welcome to Cody Day 2/2/24

Follow and join in on this once in a lifetime event where we celebrate our favorite clone, Marshall Commander Cody! This blog is dedicated to promoting, sharing, and archiving fan-made works created for February 2nd, 2024, a.k.a. Cody Day, as the date matches his designation number: CC - 2224.

Basic Information and Rules:

How are posts shared? In order for posts to be reblogged here, make sure to use any of these tags: Cody Day, Cody Day 2224, Coday. Alternatively, creators can directly tag this account @codyday2224 to ensure that their post isn't missed. Submissions will be accepted.

What kind of posts are allowed? Any and all types of fanwork made for Cody Day will be reblogged. Fanart, fanfiction, gif sets, videos, etc. So long as the post has Cody as the main focus.

Writers who post on AO3 can also share their fanfiction in this collection created by @yellowisharo

Is there a deadline? Real life can often take priority, which is completely understandable. Despite the date of this event, creators can tag and submit posts up to a week after, February 9, 2024. Afterwards, no more posts will be reblogged and this account will remain as an archive for Cody Day.

Are there any themes or prompts? No. Cody Day is a free-for-all unmoderated event where anyone can create whatever they wish. Posts with mature or explicit themes must be tagged appropriately. Work that contains content that may make others uncomfortable will be tagged (example: blood, death, trypophobia, etc). Explicit and suggestive work will be tagged "nsfw". It is everyone's responsibility to ensure they have blocked key words and tags so that they do not scroll across triggering content.

Are ships allowed? Yes. So long as the post is Cody centric. All ships will be tagged depending on who is paired together.

Are clone x clone ships allowed? Yes. All posts with clone x clone ships will be tagged as "clone shipping".

You can create a work for as many or as few of these prompts as you'd like. If a prompt especially speaks to you, you can create multiple works based on the same prompt. There's no minimum or maximum on how much you can participate.

Once you have created your work, post it on the designated day and be sure to tag @techpheeweek. You can also tag the post with #techpheeweek. I will be active these days, but if I somehow miss your post, please DM it!

NSFW / smutty works are allowed and encouraged, just please be sure to properly tag the work. You do not have to make your works NSFW if you do not want to, however. The choice in what you make is firmly up to you!

The only firm rule for works is that they cannot be created by generative AI and must not be bigoted. They can be whatever kind of transformative work you like (fanfic, fanart, playlist, podfic, memes, headcanons, custom Legos, etc etc etc.) We just want them to respectful of everyone & made by a person.

I am also going to make an AO3 collection for this event. This isn't a requirement, but makes it nice and easy to see all the works created for the event. You don't have to only post fanfic on AO3 - you can post any fanwork on the site, so everyone who participates is eligible for this. Here is the collection - it is currently unrevealed, so no works will be shown but you can freely submit if you finish early. <3

I've run this even by myself for the last two years, and it can be a lot of work, so I'm trying to gauge if it would be worth the time and effort to hold it again this year. As in the past, prompts would go out in late December, 2024, and posting would take place during March, 2025.

The Clone x OC week 2025 participation badges are here ✨

We are excited to unveil yet another feature for this event! By the end of the festivities, you may apply for Clone Trooper badges that are personalised with your tumblr username—so that you can show off that you’ve participated in Clone x OC week 2025!

There are two types of badges that can be earned: Creator Badge and Enjoyer Badge. You may earn either one or both if you meet the specific requirements for each type of badge.

To earn the Creator Badge, you need to post at least one creative work inspired by one of the themes of the event. To earn the Enjoyer Badge, you have to complete at least one row of the Enjoyer Bingo.

But wait—there’s more!!

Very dedicated participants deserve something a little extra. We’d like to award these people with ARC Trooper badges!

The Disgrace AU takes place in a post fall of Kamino galaxy. No one really knows what their place is in the grand scheme of things and that goes double for these two. Crosshair meets Tahny on an ill fated transport headed back to her home world of Ga'hah. The story follows them as they try to safely navigate from point A to point B through explosions, smugglers, gangsters and jealous suitors all while trying to to gauge which one of them is worse and has the rougher lot in life. Turns out they may be two sides of the same coin.
