Obviously I’ve thought a lot about how Moiraine changing her oath of loyalty from “the Amyrlin Seat” to Siuan opens her up to all sorts of interesting consequences (an easy one being Elaida calling Moiraine back to the Tower and Moiraine ignoring her).

But I just realized the fact that Moiraine swears to Siuan as a person and not as an Aes Sedai also would mean the oath would still be in effect after Siuan is stilled. Which I feel like could open up all sorts of possibilities if the show wanted to do something with them.

For example, what if Siuan calls Moiraine “home” to Salidar and that’s where Moiraine is going when she goes through the Red Door to her “downfall”? I’ve seen the theory she is going to Siuan when Red Door happens but how fun would it be if it’s tied to her oath to Siuan Sanche specifically. Siuan is even in full regalia when Moiraine makes the oath!
