When will I meet the woman who'll introduce herself as the one who's gonna marry me, who I'll then laugh at, who'll make a flower bloom with a yet-incomplete song she's working on, who I'll fall for in spite of myself?

Just want to remind people thatĀ ā€œBlack women face pressure to be as hyperfeminine as possible by white standards in order to be seen as women and are held to a higher standard of femininity because theyā€™re inherently seen as less feminine than other races of women and thus having to play it up more to make up for what they apparently ā€˜lackā€™.ā€ andĀ ā€œBlack women should by all means be allowed to embrace their own hyperfemininity and being girly and feminine can be powerful for them because society all too often strips Black women of their femininity and tries to force them into a masculine role, so they should be allowed to reclaim it and find power in it on their own terms because they are just as feminine as any other race of women and should not be made to feel otherwise, because femininity isnā€™t and shouldnā€™t be inherently correlated to whiteness.ā€ are two statements that can and should coexist.Ā

~ Me as a black woman reclaiming hyper femininity (in the least toxic way possible), and living as the ultimate girly girl with a heavy vintage vibe, will always be the most powerful thing for me. ~

I think about the assumptions that being perceived as a cis woman equals safety and protection, and that masculinity is inherently demonized and ostracized ignores a lot of nuance between black people.Ā
I think the general idea that people will be more accepting of someone who presents more femininely and who is/looks like a cis woman vs. someone presents/is a cis man is very narrow minded.Ā
Black femininity will always be feared and ridiculed on black skin. Black women and femininity has been tied to the devil, to casting spell over white men, to beingĀ ā€œour faultā€ for sexual assualt and rape. Black femininity has been something feared by white women and white men alike, and often the justification for white women to treat black women like dirt.Ā
When you bring up cis women, be clear about who you mean. Because yes, certain trans people do hold a lot of privilege over black women, even if they are cis.Ā
The assumption that all feminity is honored and that masculinity is feared is such a bad take.Ā
People will accept and embrace white masculinity over black femininity any day. There are literally movie tropes about the white masculine hero, that is an image that is honored and revered.Ā
If you are white, and your a masc presenting, there are a lot of doors you will have open that someone who is black and femme presenting wonā€™t be able to access.Ā
Even if you are trans, and even if they are cis.
Just please be clear.Ā

Heā€™s also a transandrophobia truther. Aka a transmisogynist. So block him. But donā€™t harass him.
Tumblr media
imagine writing this to a palestinian man (90-ghost) who's literally *in gaza* right now. this is a new low, even by tumblr zionist standards
if you haven't already blocked him -> @transmascpetewentz (main: starry-eyed-fag)
also, donate to 90-ghosts's paypal or ko-fi. his bank account is frozen, and he still needs 10k to get himself and his family out of gaza
update: i've been informed he's a 14-year-old. i'm still leaving this up, as he's behavior on here is completely unacceptable. but again, this is a minor, so act accordingly
just block him and don't interact any further

let me show you an example of liberal zionist dishonesty and intentional misinterpretation

ā€œ>oh look a new leftist youtuber who seems cool!
>checks their blog
>sees a video about "colonialism"
>asks them if they are talking about real colonialism or are just being antisemitic
>"what's the difference?"
>pulls out a chart explaining the difference between anti colonialism and antisemitism
>"it's a good video sir"
>look inside
>it's a 2 hour long rant about how (((they))) are in so many positions of power/are well respected for being good at their jobs and how that is allegedly bad because of palestine
#wentz.txt #antisemitism #this post is about dr fatima on youtube but can apply to othersā€
End ID.
taken at face value, this post would seem to point out a leftist youtuber who made a video of a half baked rant of nothing but antisemitic conspiracy theories. that would be bad, if that were the case. but since he so graciously mentioned the youtuber in question, i went and looked her up. Dr. Fatima has 12 videos total, and only one of them mentions colonialism in the title or thumbnail, this one:
youtube
i highly highly recommend watching the whole video (it is captioned), but it is quite long so the tldr is: this is a video mostly about the building of telescopes on colonised Hawaiā€™ian land, specifically the sacred mountain Mauna Kea, and how scientific pursuit is not exempt from perpetuating colonialism. Dr. Fatima also talks about the genocide in Gaza, and the colonisation of Palestine, to contextualise and draw parallels between the two situations (Hawaiā€™i & Palestine). Hereā€™s a quote from two hours and ten minutes into the video:
ā€œI spent SO much time back in grad school trying to understand why so many of my colleagues, who I knew to be reasonable and intelligent, seemed so wholly unperturbed at what our field [astronomy] was doing. And in recent months I found myself asking the exact same question about Palestine.ā€
this person either didnā€™t watch the video, or he did watch the video and didnā€™t understand a word that was said. thereā€™s also the possibility that he did watch the video and understood perfectly what it was about, and maliciously decided to wildly mischaracterise the video to discourage his followers from watching it, or any of Dr. Fatimaā€™s other videos.
because there is no good faith explanation for how you get ā€œit's a 2 hour long rant about how (((they))) are in so many positions of power/are well respected for being good at their jobs and how that is allegedly bad because of palestineā€ from this:
Transcript:
ā€œSo I think we have enough context now that I can just come out and say the thesis of this video: the plan to build TMT on Mauna Kea, as well as the building of the telescopes that preceded it, is inherently colonial. Hawaii is a settler society where the self-determination of the native population that was nearly genocided out of existence is secondary to the utility their land brings to the United States, primarily as a military outpost, but also whatever else it can be useful for. At one point that was plantations, today itā€™s generally tourism, but on Mauna Kea, it is astronomy. The land the telescopes are on make them inseparable from the colonial power that controls that land. And this dynamic is underscored by the consistency of objections to their building by Indigenous voices.
And here is the really hard a to swallow part: any benefit astronomers careers gain from the use of telescopes on that land comes at the direct cost of indigenous people's alienation from it. If you think I'm being unfair because Hawaii's colonization already happened and building one more telescope doesn't change anything, you're still paying more attention to made up things like property laws and the American government than the material conditions of people's access and relationship to land. Calling the police to arrest native elders who are just standing on their land so we can build another telescope is not dissimilar to Israel bombing the shit out of Palestinians just living on their land so it can build another settlement. And if you think I'm being dramatic by comparing genocide in Palestine to building a telescope, then you're still paying more attention to the purported intention of astronomers than the long standing, violent, exploitative and still present colonial institutions that grant them power. (e.g. the police, the military, universities, government agencies, etc) Colonization is an ongoing process and the difference between Hawaii and Palestine is that in the former, there aren't enough indigenous people left to pose an existential threat to settlers, and the latter, the indigenous population is still the slight majority. Or at least they still were as of this 2018 report. [98] Honestly, this year might tip it.
And if you think I'm exaggerating the connection between the two, please remember that the United States government is involved in both far off places for exactly the same reason: their use as military outposts, one in the Middle East and one in the Pacific. That is the joint cause of both of these conflicts today: the geopolitical interests of Western imperialism. This is why you might have seen those multi-nation calls for liberation recently: Free Palestine, Free Sudan, Free Congo, Free Haiti, Free Hawaii, and beyondā€” not as separate issues, but as different interconnected manifestations of the same problem.ā€
End transcript.
in using this video to be anti-palestinian, he is also being incredibly racist and anti-indigenous by downplaying the colonisation of Hawaiā€™i. implying that the desecration of the sacred land of a colonised people doesnā€™t count as ā€œreal colonialismā€, interpreting ā€œscientists in the imperial core shouldnā€™t participate in exploitative and colonialist practicesā€ fucking somehow as ā€œbeing good at their jobs and that is allegedly badā€. i guess?? honestly i have no fucking idea what that last paragraph in the post is even supposed to be about.
like i keep wondering if i somehow have the wrong video, but i donā€™t know of any other leftist youtubers called dr. Fatima who made a video over two hours long about colonialism that brings up Palestine. the more obvious explanation is that he just made shit up
i guess this bit 37 minutes into the video probably hit too close to home

"Let me be clear: Antisemitism in the U.S. is a real and dangerous phenomenon, most pressingly from the alt-right white-supremacist politics that have become alarmingly mainstream since 2016. To contend against these and other antisemitic forces with clarity and purpose, we must put aside all fabricated and weaponized charges of "antisemitism" that serve to silence criticism of Israeli policy and its sponsors in the U.S."

Acknowledge your flaws
With all these uwu fandom queers who turned out to be racist Zionists, I think itā€™s important to acknowledge or be aware of your flaws and accept that you can do and believe shitty things and that being from a marginalized group doesnā€™t exempt you from that. For example, I can be very harsh and a bit of a jackass or a shithead. I try to work on that but itā€™s not easy. Self love is good but not if it causes you to ignore your faults as acting like you can do no wrong if youā€™re queer or from a marginalized religion is an easy path to falling for fascist and racist rhetoric.

what do you think it's the connection/venn diagram Center between jumblr chauvisist zionists and TMRAs/Transandrophobia Thruters?
Iā€™m not as educated as some other people are and I donā€™t post much about being trans, though I am transfem but havenā€™t transitioned and am just waiting until I can move out. I think there is a connection since people like spot-the-antisemitism have been caught being transmisogynistic as has transmascpetewentz. I have seen some anti Zionists like Angrysnakes/agro-carnist who think transandrophobia is real. I am not sure about the connection. Maybe itā€™s people who are status quo liberals who are against any real radical change. Anyone want to pitch in?

Having to fight with people about whether misogyny is a real problem for trans women in a world where people comment stuff like "well she was murdered by her partner, so obviously he couldn't have been motivated by hatred against trans women because he was willing to date someone like that" almost verbatim under a news story of a trans woman being murdered is amounts of mind-boggling and infuriating that are hard to put into words.

Urgent help needed by an entire Palestinian family consisting of a cancer patient and multiple children, amongst others.
Tumblr media
These lines are from the occupation aircrafts, it's a picture my friend Nader just sent me.
As I recently expressed in an addition to others promoting Nad's campaign, they were very close to their original goal of 50k, and in arranging for wiring the money to the family, they realized they'd be left without about half of the total money between taxation and GFM's commission, so sadly they had to double up their goal, leaving them with only 49% of their total goal met.
This campaign is verified. It's the 4th campaign in this spreadsheet.
If we reach this ā‚¬100,000 goal, we'd be saving not just Nad, but several young children, his father Ahmed who's a cancer patient, and many others. Multiple people very close to this family have been martyred recently. Anything can happen at any moment, and he gets very disheartened whenever donations decrease. We need to get them all out of Gaza as soon as possible.
His little niece is suffering from malnutrition, and every day when Nad and I resume chatting again he tells me how exhausted he is. I'm very worried for him and his family, as there's people dying of starvation all around him and him and his family aren't doing well. His family has already been displaced NINE times!!
Let's give Nad a chance to follow his dreams of going to university. Let's give his very small siblings a chance to know of a life free of bombings and shootings. Let's give his father the opportunity to deal with his cancer with dignity and an actual fighting chance.

ā€œHope Amid Despair: A Familyā€™s Struggle to Stay Safeā€
My name is Mai. Iā€™m 28 years old, from Gaza. My life was full of simple dreams and ambitions. We were a small family living a quiet life despite the challenges around us. But the war took everything from usā€¦ it took our home, our safety, and our health.
My mother, who was always the pillar of our family, suffers from heart disease. Two weeks before the war, she underwent a major surgery to implant a heart device. She needed rest and care, but the war didnā€™t give her a chance to recover. Now, her condition worsens day by day. Her heart is weak, her body is frail, and the medications she desperately needs are either unavailable or unaffordable for us.
My brother has a severe hand injury and needs treatment to regain full function. As for meā€¦ I am living with hepatitis, my body is weak, and even the simplest things feel like an impossible dream.
My father has been in Egypt for 4 years, far from us, struggling with his own health after several heart surgeries. And we? We fight every day just to find clean water to drink or a small piece of food to survive. The war has left us with nothing, but even so, I still have hopeā€¦ hope in the hearts of people who care and understand.
If my voice reaches you, I beg for your help. My mother urgently needs treatment, my family needs safety, and I just wish for one day without pain. Every bit of support from you is a lifeline for my family. donate what you're able to or 5$ AT LEAST to my gofundme or my paypal is also available and they accept any transfer amount. and i know you all afford to give away at least 1$ !
