Something I noticed is that whenever trans men make posts calling out transandrophobia truthers the comments will always have transandrophobia truthers implying or even outright accusing op of not really being trans/a man and like…is that not just basic misgendering and transphobia. IMO this also only proves that transandrobros are just trans MRAs at the end of the day because of how they talk to their fellow men who call them out on their transmisogyny…by accusing them of not really being men. It’s just like when cis men who are MRAs tell other cis men who are against their misogyny that they are “beta male cucks” or “white knights” or something like that. A trans woman was shot by police at a Pacoima motel last month after she called 911 for help, then approached officers with a knife, according to video footage released Sunday by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Linda Becerra Moran, 30, died Feb. 27 after weeks on life support, leaving her friends and community advocates shaken.

Becerra Moran had told an emergency operator she was being kidnapped in the 10000 block of San Fernando Road on the morning of Feb. 7.

Footage of the encounter showed officers speaking in Spanish with a distraught Becerra Moran in the moments leading up to the shooting, keeping their guns drawn as she paced inside a motel room and they stood in the doorway. They opened fire after she moved slowly toward them, the video showed.

Becerra Moran had reported being held against her will in the motel room as a possible victim of sex trafficking, said Soma Snakeoil, executive director of the Sidewalk Project, a Skid Row nonprofit.

"t4t" is not simply a cute abbreviation for "transgender for transgender" with no history attached to it. it is a term that was invented by trans women to (often self-)describe a trans woman who only dates other trans women, an orientation that is both political and sexual-romantic in nature, and is born by necessity out of a political reality in which other trans women are frequently the only safe and reliable partners we can have, because everyone else -- that is to say, any TME person -- has the structural power of transmisogyny over us and cannot ever be fully relied upon to never use it.

i recognize that due to linguistic drift there are now trans people of all kinds who use "t4t" as shorthand for any intratrans relationship. if you are not a trans woman and you casually use t4t in this way, that's fine by me, but you must do so with the awareness that in its original meaning this term denotes a politics which you as someone who is not a trans woman lie explicitly outside of. know your history and don't be an asshole. and don't you dare come on a post of mine where trans girls are talking about what t4t means to them to fucking correct a trans woman about what the term really means.
