This scene is SO widely misinterpreted in the fandom istg! Grace is NOT being homophobic, LOUIS PUT HER KIDS IN DANGER, LEFT HER SON ON THE FLOOR CRYING, BROKE DOWN THE HOUSE DOORS AND TERRIFIED HER DAUGHTERS! OBVIOUSLY SHE'S HORRIFIED THAT HE AND LESTAT HAVE ADOPTED!
Grace always accepted Louis's vampire/queer nature. People forget she was really nice to Lestat & Jonah to the point that Jonah visits her after years and they have food together. She wanted to meet Lestat, teased Louis about his 'french white'. Grace tells Louis he's a 'better you' after she sees his vampire eyes. Calls them beautiful like church windows. Gives him chances upon chances. But she also lost a brother, her happy day ruined and then her older brother leaves her too. Decades of being rebuffed, her children being ignored. Having her financial situation thrown in her face at her mother's funeral by her older brother who THREATENS her. Like I love Louis, but when it comes to Grace, he ruined their relationship all by himself with a little help from Lestat. Dismissed his own sibling as 'human entanglements'. At the end, Grace only has resigned acceptance and still she leaves him with a kiss on the cheek. If I was his little sister, that damn tomb would NOT have been empty!
PS If you identify as Louis De Pointe Du Lac's little sister, you might be entitled to compensation for being abandoned lmao Grace and Claudia need to start a club. But also, do you all think Claudia better understood Grace's anger during Florence's funeral after realising that she would never be Louis's choice?

Having watched ep11 now, I like the extended scenes, like at the optical shop.
I'm also happy they left in the parts about Agni unintentionally helping Soma at Weston (Soma isn't as strong/durable as he thinks he is), Tower Bridge's construction timeline (in universe), and Undertaker's lockets (Claudia's and the others' death certificates). I still believe Tower Bridge is very important in regard to why the Phantomhive family was attacked... and I'm a devout believer in Claudiataker being canon.
And a teaser for the green witch arc, too!

Talamasca TV Show
I know everyone is anxious about the S3 situation, but we should see this as a good sign, it means that the universe continues to be a priority for the channel, and we all know that its foundation is the vampire chronicles, with S2 tv ratings not being so comfortable, this expansion is great for the future

hi i finally read the german witch arc and i have a question. it's probably stupid. Vincent's friend Diedrich says that Ciel has odd servants and that Vincent had different tastes in servants. But what about Tanaka ? Isn't he odd too? Unless Diedrich means "odd" like Finny's background ? Do you have an idea ?
Hey Anon ! Do you mean this scene ?
I'm not sure how familiar and caught up you are with the series, so I'll just say this : I believe Dee refers to how Ciel's servants are peculiar but also useful for his Watchdog's duty because they can fight against the German army and other examples like that.
To me, Dee implies Vincent didn't have any skilled servants like that back when he was the Watchdog (and probably relied more on his evil nobles, than Ciel does). Tanaka aside.
And that's precisely the thing. It's not a spoiler since Yana commented on it way before it was mentioned in the series, but as you'll find out later if you haven't read the arcs after the Green Witch one, Vincent isn't the one who hired Tanaka. :)
Speculations remain as to who did, Vincent's mother or father, but Vincent inherited Tanaka as a servant the day he became the Watchdog, after his mother was murdered died when he was 15.
TL;DR Dee knew his friend well. Vincent probably had a normal household staff, except for this one samurai acting as a butler who's been around since he was a kid.
I hope it answers your question, Anon. Have a good day !

HELP ME FIND A FIC
This is what I can remember:
•A few people from the pack go out to the preserve and fight of a witch who threatens (if I remember correctly) a fea
•The fea’s parents allow the ones who saved their son to bring someone back from the dead
•the ones that get brought back from the dead were Laura Hale, Talia Hale, Claudia Stilinski, Erica Reyes, Allison Argent, Vernon Boyd and Dom (Peter Hale’s mate, forgot his last name. Made up character)
•Sterek fanfic, slowburn-ish
•The witch they killed was apart of a coven and the covens leader had a five year old daughter, Ana. Stiles and Derek end up taking care of her until the necklace she wears makes almost all the werewolf’s lose their powers. Ana was not in on her mothers plan
•there are three omegas who the witches sent to spy on The Hale pack for information so they know the pack’s weaknesses when they attack. Tue omegas end up helping The Hale pack instead
That’s how far I got before I lost the fic
(Sorry if I have any spelling mistakes)

so do y'all remember the post(maybe its a tweet idk) that's like "a hot goth who lives in the woods and when they answer the door, they sigh and say "no, i'm not the witch, he lives over there." and points to a dazzling pretty boy in a golden waistcoat waving excitedly at them. this happens 253 times a month."?
what if I said platonic stobin in a fantasy au?
Like when they go shopping in the market, some of the vendors are like "there's the local witch who lives in the woods, a very helpful soul." and passerby always assume it's the woman wrapped up in a dark shawl and flowing dress. but no, it's the himbo with the gorgeous hair dressed in a sparkly tunic.
and another part of the post was like "a fair maiden knocks on the goth lady's door and says she's here to find love. the goth sighs and points across the road like 'the witch is over there, but he doesn't do love potions. he could give you one for beauty, but it typically just makes you more confident.' to which the maiden sheepishly explains that she talked to the witch, and he sent her over here. to which the goth lady looks across the street and the witch is grinning and gives her a thumbs-up."
like do you see what I'm putting down here? like rovickie? Ronance? Buckingham mayhaps? Steve would definitely do this!
Or if they were to just move in together to solve the issue going to the wrong house issue? perfect, Steve and Robin are basically roommates anyway, you just add in some witchy shenanigans. Like them chatting/bickering while Steve is brewing potions? fantastic, unless it gets more rowdy and Steve adds a bit too much of one ingredient and almost explodes. or gardening together? immaculate.
anyway, fantasy au Steve and Robin owns my brain now
