I know it makes no sense or basis in reality, but I recently read a story (or two) and I can't stop thinking that Tartaglia is the reincarnation of the former Cryo Archon and that he had a kind of stormy good relationship with Morax, and that's why he Tsaritsa respects the blockhead enough to help him in his retirement plan

the text books/research papers a decade or so after ghoul legalization: how do they refer to ghouls? Are they classed as Non Human Animals like dogs, cats, higher primates etc?

Does a new category open up? Humans/Extra RC Cell Beings/Non Human Animals?

U just know that a bunch of scientists and linguists will spend years and tonnes of funding debating this shit before putting "Ghouls" in the dictionary.

And I bet they'll do it without consulting one ghoul in the process.

Alya 10000% has a guilty pleasure of reading Rena Rouge shipping fics. Her and the other heroes have laughed at fics about them but she still slinks off to her room to read a new Rena Rouge x Carapace that just posted. She especially likes the obvious Rena X Carapace fics, and Rena X Ladybug ones. But she has a soft spot for the more out there rare pairs. Like Ryuko x Rena Rouge. Though she'd never tell.

But her biggest guilty pleasure is Reader x Ladybug.

Either way she doesn't read anything too steamy. But she does get pretty blushy during the hand-holding scenes no matter the fic.

Things only get worse when everyone has their identities revealed, and Mari revealed herself to Alya.

TLDR: Alya has a whole folder marked "Ladyblog Research" that is just her favorite Rena Rouge X BLANK fics. She is a frequent visitor of AO3

my notifs recently got me thinking about the very random concept of "what if there is a second, secret CHB. directly below normal CHB." and i ended up brainstorming it in the discord.

context for how this originated: one was just a random notif on my post talking about the tunnels under the Hephaestus cabin, and the other was some tags from @drksanctuary on my fake readriordan article mentioning the idea of a chthonic demigod camp.

so. my brilliant (read: "smashing my 2 brain cells together") idea: the elaborate and seemingly infinite tunnels under cabin 9 are remnants of an abandoned underground CHB that exists directly underneath camp. It's basically just normal CHB except in a big cave system, probably connected to the labyrinth somewhere and has the separate tunnels, and instead of the Olympian cabins it has chthonic cabins. there's probably also some infernal nymphs and etc down there too. since all chthonic demigods can learn to shadow-travel they probably used that to get down there, and a lot of chthonic demigods probably have geokinesis just by nature, ergo the tunnels (for when they don't want to shadow-travel, or can't).

in brainstorming with the discord we decided it could be cool if some of the cabins lined up with the above-ground cabins, either for thematic purposes or associations or whatever. Like there's maybe a Hermes and maybe Poseidon cabin in the chthonic CHB too that just link to the above-ground ones, but also like Persephone cabin lines up to Demeter cabin because of course it does. and maybe Hecate cabin lines up to Cabin 8 cause Artemis is sometimes 1/3rd of Hecate. Maybe Angelos cabin is beneath Cabin 1, and Zagreus cabin is beneath Cabin 12. Things like that.

The other ones i thought of were either Hypnos or Thanatos cabin lines up with Apollo, because twins, and the other is just right beside it (because twins). And Charon's cabin is beneath Cabin 9, ergo why the tunnel system connects to it (because Charon. Ferryman. Surface access. It makes sense in my brain).

Everything Steve Grant Rogers knew about love was heartbreak and loss.

First it was Molly from second grade, Susan from his english class in seventh grade followed her, after that it was Michael and Jonathan from his figure drawing class.

Of course not all of them were of romantic love.

When he was told of his fathers death, that broke him a little too, It was more manageable because it happened before he was born.

And then… his mother took her last breath alone in an hospital bed, and that was the worst pain he could endure in his life, or that was he thought at the time anyway.

No.

The worst pain of his life was losing Bucky and keep losing him every damn time, no matter what he did and no matter the circumstances.

First it was losing him in the arms of pretty dames with soft voices and softer lips, then to the war when he was finally drafted.

When he knew of his status as missing, of course he got to him without a second thought of doing stupid things like wasting time for backup or approval.

It was imperative the speed of his rescue mission, Buckys life was on the line and Steve wouldn’t sacrifice him for stupid and unnecessary rules.

Without Bucky there is no Steve Rogers after all, not a sane one anyway.

The train incident made him break completely at last and he couldn’t take it anymore.

They didn’t even let him go looking for Bucky.

How dare they?

At least that way he could’ve gotten a little bit of closure, but no.

The missions were more important of course.

Of course….

When the opportunity of sinking the Valkyrie was presented to him on a silver platter, he just took it without hesitation.

At last, he could be reunited with Bucky and the endless cycle of heartbreak could end.

OKAY WAIT I just came up with a crack headcanon about Shelly

What if even RJ doesn't know who she is?? 😆

Maybe Park mentions her once or twice in passing, and RJ is hoping to glean from context exactly who this is because they feel too awkward to ask 😅 (Park's going to tell them, right? Or does he think they already somehow know??)

And then Park says, "If Shelly calls, tell her not to expect me," and through the dread comes a new realisation - RJ is going to have to talk to this person they have absolutely no idea about.

-- But it must be in Park's file, right???

Cue RJ frantically (and guiltily) searching through their superior (former superior?)'s file only to find out:

Even the IGR doesn't know who Shelly is.

Maybe Shelly doesn't call - or maybe she does but RJ struggles to gather anything from her voice or her references to Park about who she is to him. And it's a really inappropriate moment to go "also, um, who exactly are you?"

Come Episode 10, RJ asks Park, "How's Shelly?" and inwardly thinks am I finally going to find out?? But Park's reply is non-committal and RJ is still in the dark 🙈

(And it's not exactly the most pressing issue, what with the whole "sparing the life of a Dwarnian" and "Park being a traitor to the Republic" and "RJ being a traitor to the Republic oh god")

But then they're on board the Iris 2, Shelly's name comes up, and Park looks stricken, so the Rumor crew obviously decide not to ask. Later, someone (Sana?) pulls RJ aside and asks about Shelly and RJ (in far far too deep to admit the truth) improvises desperately.

"She and Park were very close…" (Surely that can only be true, right?) "Park really misses her…" (Again, self-evident) "I think it's difficult because she can't know what's happened to him…" (That's just part and parcel of going on the run)

Sana nods and doesn't seem to detect that the key piece of information is missing.

ALTERNATIVELY, they're on board the Iris 2 and Shelly's name comes up, and both Park and RJ make confident references to her as if the Rumor crew already know who she is. Did Park mention this? Did Other Violet? It's been a crazy 48 hours, no-one has slept, and later on it seems almost… too late to ask (each member of the crew thinks they're the one who can't remember who Shelly is).

Which results in Park + a ship full of people all desperately trying to pretend they know about Shelly

Zack is slightly different from how canon makes him look, especially in remake/rebirth. Most notabtly:

He has tan skin, and is proud of the fact he never burns. Though he does get a bit paler when he's in Midgar, he's still quite a bit darker than a native Midgardian.

As he ages, he lets his hair grow out. It's at it's longest in his main verse, where it reaches his mid back. When he's able to properly take care of it, his hair is actually fairly wavy. It's not quite curly, but pretty close. It used to be incredibly frizzy growing up. These days, he frequently ties it up to keep it out of the way.

He does have top surgery scars, but they are harder to see post-Last Stand given he has dozens and dozens of bullet hole scars across his chest.

There are four wing tattoos on his back. Two white ones on the left side of his body, and two black ones on the right. They represent Angeal and himself (white wings) and Sephiroth and Genesis (black wings).

His eyes do actually glow in the dark, akin to birdblacksocialclub's comics. It's really freaky to those who aren't expecting it. He frequently forgets that they do that and consequently scares the daylights out of people who encounter him in the dark.

Headcanon:

Tails has no natural affinity towards interfacing with the chaos emeralds and usinf their power, etc.

He wouldn't be able to perform Chaos Control or go Super on his own no matter how hard he tries.

Knuckles can sense the Emerald energy (even the shard from the fake one that Tails made), andnmost regular people can feel that there's power inside them when they hold them. But to Tails it's just rocks.

He still knows they have the power. Obviously. (On top of everything, a Chaos Emerald radar was his first invention that he made in the series) But he can't feel it or connect with it.

Ehh I'm starting to obsess over Welcome home and I can't get this damn caterpillar dude out of my head.

Anyways I noticed that despite him being a humanoid caterpillar he has 8 limbs instead of 6 limbs.

Which means that he cannot be classified as a caterpillar but rather as an arachnid.

Anyways my headcanon is that he got adopted by caterpillars and never realized that he was an arachnid himself and now is just vibin as a caterpillar wannabe.

Or the better headcanon....

He was adopted by a caterpillar family but was too afraid to admit that he in reality was an arachnid because most people are scared off of spider, scorpions and other.

Poor frank when he finds out that all of the spying was for nothing....
