Alya 10000% has a guilty pleasure of reading Rena Rouge shipping fics. Her and the other heroes have laughed at fics about them but she still slinks off to her room to read a new Rena Rouge x Carapace that just posted. She especially likes the obvious Rena X Carapace fics, and Rena X Ladybug ones. But she has a soft spot for the more out there rare pairs. Like Ryuko x Rena Rouge. Though she'd never tell.

But her biggest guilty pleasure is Reader x Ladybug.

Either way she doesn't read anything too steamy. But she does get pretty blushy during the hand-holding scenes no matter the fic.

Things only get worse when everyone has their identities revealed, and Mari revealed herself to Alya.

TLDR: Alya has a whole folder marked "Ladyblog Research" that is just her favorite Rena Rouge X BLANK fics. She is a frequent visitor of AO3

thinking about alya in rocketear saying she could never fall for someone she doesn't really know, and how i don't think i've ever seen anyone explore that in an alyabug/renabug context

thinking about alya insisting that it's just casual. that she won't fall for ladybug, and marinette's just willing to accept whatever she can get, because she doesn't think alya would fall for her civilian side when they're already so close and clearly alya's never thought about marinette like that. but marinette's head over heels, listening to alya gush about her hookups with ladybug, trying not to kiss alya silly right then and there because she's so cute when she gets excited

thinking about how alya would obviously end up falling for ladybug anyways, but she can't shake the part of her that's desperate to know who ladybug is. maybe it irritates her, that ladybug won't trust her with that. and she knows it's wrong to try and force ladybug to reveal herself, but she doesn't think she can just let it go. she doesn't know what to do. and marinette's still listening to alya go on and on about this and she's seconds away from bursting out with the truth and--

Speaking of Andre glacier, I once saw a fic where butterfly Lila and the heroes extensively had an unspoken truce where they can mess with Andre to their hearts content(aka Renabug, Caranoir, RenaNoir, ect) and she won't akumatize him.

As a fan of AroAce!Lila, she also has beef with the guy so hell yeah

One of the best Alyanette fics I've read. Heed the content warnings, but damn, so good.

So many complex dynamics between everyone, touching on social issues and differing approaches to crime and punishment, spotlighting Alya's journalism career, genuine Parisian and French flavor to the fic that was super interesting and immersive to me. And of course Alyanette, with a super cute setup, and Renabug as a bit of a slowburn enemies-to-lovers ship, instead.
