You can use our Claiming Form to claim a prompt. You can view the prompts in our Prompt Gallery.

Claims are on a first-come, first-served basis. Each prompt can only be claimed once for Fic and once for Artwork. You can only claim one prompt at a time. If you wish to claim another prompt, please submit your first piece beforehand.

Hello hello everyone prompt claiming has officially opened!!

All 63 of the prompts can be viewed below, it will be updated as claims are made so what is available is visible in real time (or as close to as us mods can make it).

From now through 7/30 (just under 2 months) prompt claiming is open!

Each prompt can be claimed up to 3 times. This is done to encourage multiple mediums of work to be created for the same prompt but is not required.

You will receive an email confirmation of your claimed prompt from hpacearofest within 24 hours, first come first serve up to 3 claims.

If you have any questions, mods can be contacted via the email where you received the claim confirmation as well as through here on tumblr and in the discord server for the fest.

nagumo had one hand on the wheel, fingers tapping lazily against it, while the other, warm and ever-present, rested on your thigh. casual, like it belonged there. like it always did. just the weight of his hand, warm and unmoving, like it had landed there absentmindedly. you had glanced at him at first, expecting him to move it, but nagumo had simply grinned, eyes still on the road, and left it right where it was.

minutes passed.

his fingers, previously still, began to shift ever so slightly. a slow, lazy drag of his thumb along the fabric covering your skin. nothing overt. nothing that could be called out without sounding ridiculous.

“nagumo.”

“mm?” his tone was light, almost distracted, but that damn grin was still there.

". . . both hands on the wheel.”

“i told you, i don’t need both hands,” the guy mused, tapping the steering wheel with two fingers. “i’m a professional.”

“professional menace, maybe.”

nagumo chuckled, and that was when his fingers dipped lower between your thighs.

he chuckled, tilting his head in that lazy, almost careless way. “i'm driving and keeping you in check. you get fidgety, you know?”

“maybe because your hand is in places it shouldn’t be,” you shot back.

“mm. . disagree.” his thumb absentmindedly traced a small circle against your leg. “i think it’s exactly where it should be.”

you rolled your eyes, but you didn’t move his hand. not that you ever did. not that he’d let you.

What is religions place in moral and ethics arguments in your opinion? I saw one of your posts and i was curious :))

It was smth about how you can't really be reliant on religion as a defense on its own because you'll never really be able to properly hold a discussion. Any argument wherein one party's only defense is "god says it's wrong" or "the bible says it's wrong" is a copout and already kind of doomed to fail from the start. And how it's also frustrating to go up against someone who uses that as their only counterargument (i.e. my dad) because there's really no way to argue against it without offending them. It can't be the end all be all argument because God is only real to the people who believe in him, and this stance will ultimately be worthless on people with any differing belief. I spent an Hour talking with my dad about capital punishment and it was because his only reason for why the death penalty is morally okay is because the government authorized it and God says that we should respect the authority.

You can't really use God in a moral argument until you can definitively prove to the opposing party that God exists and is fully omnipotent and omniscient and omnipresent. You will not be able to tell an atheist woman that abortion is bad because God says so, that would not work and would only antagonize her further. Something something what is god to a nonbeliever. Religion isn't like fully exempt from arguments or whatever, it has its own place in them, especially with how influential it is in every culture, but if man is born with free will then let him think without the constraints of a theoretical god's law
