I remember Tot said season 4 was gonna be sad a f*ck and that Yugo will have to pass some kind of "hard trial" (AGAIN) in this season because this kid will never have a good rest. Not even a breath. Stop. Give this little boy some holidays c'mon, the lord is always testing our little angel to the limit. (And by lord I mean Ankama I'm looking at you...)

So it's very likely that Yugo will start to suffer even more in the next episode. And of course, in the entire season :))))))) Let this boy have something, someone precious by his side more than an instant and stop take it from him in the next second, I beg you. (He just found his family... And... Qilby I guess. And Adamai just abandoned him already to investigate by his own way...)

Just seeing how the kings and queens of every nation were so disrespectful in front of him and just called his mother a monster and made her cry, well. (I want to riot! When Joris said they were "quite tense" he fell short.)

Okay, yes, I understand the eyes in the sky~ are pretty creepy and of course I don't trust her either, at least, like this is so suspicious for sure, no one was born yesterday even when she is trying to be so kind and helpful monitoring the entire planet (yeessss mom, way too much).

But, c'mon, this is a goddess as tall as... I don't know, as much as she wants, girl she is made of f*cking magic. If she wanted she could erase you from existence. She didn't have to give a f*ck about anyone and HERE WE ARE~

The best thing you can do is looking for a fight with her in the moment you meet her with no hesitasion? Do you want to die that much? Do you know about survival? Did you skip that class maybe? (I'm going for a tea BECAUSE-)

It was so necessary to (be a little racist dear rich people and) insult the giant blue mother of your hero in his f*cking face and the people who are at least trying to do your job (which any of you losers did well, like ever, btw. When Sadida kingdom was about to be destroyed by the chaos of Ogrest what did you do?? Eh, where were you???)

Jobs like protecting and saving your citizens from, nothing, being robbed and I don't know: imminent death??? I mean, really? Was that all you thought about in this situation? Being a d*ck was your best choice.

These same guys here were talking about stolen freedom?? What freedom? The brotherhood of Tofu had to save your asses for like 3 season. 3 ovas and dozens of comics. Yugo just met his mom and his sis and he already has the world of 12 hating them... Like wow, the rulers are all going to die in the hands of that kind of white demon/zombies of TLOU/soul suckers or whatever they are. And I really don't give a f*ck for any of them, ladies and gentlemen. Only the crowns are going to remain. (Down with the monarchy.)

Unpopular Opinion: I don't care about a spinoff of 9-1-1 because they should be working to get OG back to the place where it used to be.

I'm truly at a loss for words. WDYM episode 8 is the mid-season finale? This has never happened before. In season 6 episode 9 was the mid season finale and ok... it was out of sync with what happened in seasons 2 and 3 but what is going on that's affecting the timeline this much? It appears they're not paying attention to the things that are happening in the U.S. right now. IYKYK

Maybe if they had ended "Hotshots" at the end of episode 4 like they ended Gerrard's and Ortiz's storylines, then things might be better.

This delay and saving 10 episodes for the back half of the season is ridiculous. It seems like they haven't realized the longer they stay away, the more people will lose interest. This is not good and I'm sick of the lack of proper planning. There shouldn't be a new spinoff until they get OG where it needs to be.

Just saying.

This is what I meant during the summer months when I said TM (showrunner) fails to plan ahead. When someone fails to plan; they’re planning to fail. Every time they go on hiatus, something changes and now it appears something’s changed again.

#Get 9-1-1 OG back to where it used to be with pacing and timing because season 8 is starting to look more like season 7 which was a cluster f~ck.

Why is Nikolai being called Sobachka aka a doggy?

THEY'RE DOING IT???? AHHHH!!! I dislike how they're rushing through CK, but god, it's one of the greatest moments in the book! This makes me smile.

"To all of that", including "Yes, I can't do this without you." That's why I ship them. Jesper is so easygoing. He UNDERSTANDS Kaz. What they share is so special. Jesper wouldn't mind big words, but he'll do just fine without them. I can't stress enough how much he loves him & how it's mutual.

The fact that Jesper fucked up the entire thing in the book, and Kaz didn't say him a word until his patience reached it's absolute limit. Even the physical fight they had in Ck until Colm stopped them. How they brushed it off and continued with their lives, their plan, their relationship.

I just love them SO much. I wouldn't change these two for any other ship in this universe. If I was asked to choose just one ship, they'd be the one.

NINA. LMAOOO. Honestly, only she can do that. Which is a bit brutal, but also... She knows her worth and he allows her. But also, that woman is loyal and smart. They'll get there eventually.

I really like the scene where David explains to Alina how it all happened. What Darkling has now and how dangerous it is. As it turns out, I just dislike him near Darkling, but overall he seems to be an alright kind of guy.

Me: This is my fav character. Also me: Aww, poor baby suffering. He looks so good while at it.

To be fair, I do have a 'I love me some traumatized characters' tag, after all.

"The trick is not to love anything." Because Pekka Rollins once killed what Kaz loved the most. His brother. Yeeeah.

"You'll never find your son in time." I'm a bit disappointed. They wasted the masquerade, the pushed this iconic line from near the end of CK in the middle of the season. What are they doing?

That iconic line, though:

"I want you to remember."

I also find this as a very interesting choice. In the book Inej witnessed Kaz saying that. In here it's Nina and Jesper, which also gives them an understanding of what's going on and what Kaz Brekker really is. I can't say I can complain. It's a smart move. And they nailed this. Even though too early, they nailed this.

I know Kaz wouldn't appreciate a hug, so I'd like to sit next to him and be there for him. And this is the scene that made me want to cry. Oh, Kaz. I love him with all my heart. What a character.

That smile. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. ;_; Yeah, crying now. Also, the fact that Nina looks back at Jesper, asking if it's the right time and Jesper shakes his head. I'm not tired to say that Jesper knows him.

;______; I'm giving this episode 10/10 just for this entire scene. Losing it, besties.

I'm gonna need so many fics after this episode. Fics that address Jesper's feelings of hearing Kaz's story. I'm gonna need Kaz to call Jesper Jordie. I'm gonna need all of that.

Jesper: "I like the chaos. The gamble of Barrel life. Never knowing what comes next." Sooo... you like Kaz. :) Also, I remember people talking about this before (during the books), but isn't it suspicious that Jesper likes Wylan for this reason? Because it very much screams Kaz. VERY much. So again, if Kaz was more available... Kazper is canon, one way or another. So much to explore tbh. I'm full of inspiration again (and I haven't even finished my previous 3 wips :)))

Also, the way Jesper easily goes for a quickie with Wylan, which basically means he'd fuck Kaz if he could. Because all the traits show!Wylan has, it's all (and more) in Kaz already. And Jesper knew Kaz for years, so I think the conclusion is very logical.

I'm not giving this 10/10 bc of how they ruined Wesper. But. This was a very long, but a very good episode. So much important information. I even watched parts with Alina and Nikolai, which is VERY rare for me. I'm usually not interested in that part of the show at all.

This is so far my fav episode, but I'm really disappointed that there was no That Iconic Masquerade Line.

CJL LIVE BLOG SEASON 1 [EPISODE 2]

Hi. I had an exam on 28th and I had promised my mother that I won't write anything before that. So. Now. Come. Let'z begin :)

1.) So. Now is the time for their sweet re-union. Badshah & Deva. Deva fishes out a harmonica and starts playing 'their' melody which is also an instrumental of the titular song.

2.) Badshah, instantly, recognizes the tune and starts running towards its source, Deva as well comes down running towards him while playing it, with tears rolling down his eyes.

3.) Ok. So. Now. Badshah is doing nakhre. He wants to have a race to a tree at the hilltop. Deva mocks Badshah of his old age and inability to run at full speed. He warns him not to cheat and to start running only at the count of three. (Tho he himself breaks the rules in the next moment. Lol.)

4.) They are about to reach the hilltop and Deva realizes he is loosing, so, he takes a long-ass high jump and lands on the tree, altho the camera could not hide the actuality of the scene but theek hai itna toh chalta hai.

5.) Deva is hanging down a branch and is gloating of his victory but the branch breaks off and he falls down the hill to the-waterfall?-lake?-water body. Whatever.

6.) And, now, we get a glimpse of his trauma getting triggered due to him going underwater. We see the impact of the trauma has been huge on him too, by the line as well as the way, he says it, "Haan haan tu jeeta aur......main haar gaya."

7.) We, along with Badshah, get a glimpse of his tortured past. He(Badshah) tries to sooth and comfort him but Deva brushes it off by saying that this was the reward for trying to bring a smile on someone's face, he continues, the wounds have healed but the pain is still there.

8.) And, we are instantly taken to that certain someone who, he was talking about, moments ago. Mujhariya ji? Or? Bhojariya ji? They didn't keep track of that name. (¬_¬)

9.) Tara has. Oh. Hi Tara. So. Tara has returned home but she kept searching for Badshah, the whole day, as it is night time now. She has badgered (-Bho/Mu-)jhariya ji the whole day, he is exasperated and tells her to not disturb him as he has no knowledge of the person, who has bought Badshah.

10.) So. We hear someone shouting at the top of their lungs, asking for their 'accounts ki file' and we see Baba throw- Oh. Hi Baba. Long time no see. Hope you are fin-i think not. Did you too find something strange in Baba's behavior? Like. Wasn't he, a self-centered, stuck up 'Sehgal' all those years back? Yeh kab se Tara ki baat manne lage? Something's wrong with him, i think. Whatever.

11.) So. Tara hands him those yellow flowers from the gardens of their ex-house. Lol. Ex-house. And Baba calms down, considerably.

12.) We see Tara leaves Baba inside the room and goes to clean the now-broken expensive lamp of her chachi. Chachi warns her to tell off her Baba to be careful with the things of this house as it is their house(Chacha and Chachi's). Btw, what's with Chachi's over make-up and heavy saree? She didn't go anywhere? Did she? No? Then why the over dressing? Lol. Whatever.

13.) Oh. So. Chachi takes rent from these two. To give them space in 'their' house. To give shelter to their OWN big brother? Like? Blood related BIG BRO? Wow. Just wow. And, she orders Tara to give her additional five thousand along with the monthly rent, for the loss of that goddamn lamp. Chachi, be grateful that she has the grace to give that money, had i been at her place, i would have given you a tight slap. Now. Shut the f*ck up Chachi. You understand? STFU CHACHI.

Not-so-fun Fact : Why are all the Chacha's and Chachi's of the ITV universe doing the GREAT wrong deed / the GREAT injustice? First Arnav's chachaji and now these idiots (also chachas and chachis)? Like? Wtf is wrong with them? Whatever.

14.) Aha. See? I told you. Baba is ill, y'all.

15.) Tara pleads chachi to -understandably- show some mercy to her father but chachi backfires.

16.) Oh. So. I was right again. Chacha and chachi are going for a party thrown by some 'maaldaar investor'. Lol. What was with that shitty woofing at the end. Lol. Whatever.

17.) Hold on, y'all. Let me take a water break.

*returns back* Ok. Let's resume.

18.) Papa is ill. But brother is still the same. Asshole. You noticed how papa has softened towards Tara now? I actually feel sad for Tara. This poor little kid lost so much so soon. And, now she is the one taking care of her ill father and reckless brother. Because Rohan has to get paid to look after his ill papa for ONE FREAKING DAY. Humphf. Shit-hole of a brother.

Not-so-Fun Fact : They highlighted his gold gleaming ring and the watch on his left hand when he asked about his return gift for 'papa-sitting' which means Tara was the only one who gave those to him or at least she was the one to pay the bill. My poor little baby Tara.

LoOoOol. Again, that Sehgal Promise. Bro, the last time you gave your 'Sehgal Promise', you almost traumatized Tara. Just spare her with that shit-ass of a promise of yours and take care of your father, you jobless leech.

19.) Tara has been made part of the event today night, which is probably, being hosted by Deva and he can't wait to start on his revenge, the moment he was waiting for, for the last fifteen years.

20.) Lol. Deva is in love. Yeah. Kind of. The man has everything around him which keeps reminding him of Tara. He really loves her, actually. Had kind of fallen for her all those years back. It's just he has this misunderstanding that Tara had the heart to betray him so when he comes to know the truth he will actually end up taking revenge from those accused Sehgals for his and Tara's tortured past.

21.) Ok. So. Deva in black. His car in red. (Tara in red. Lol. I saw in the thumb nail.)

22.) Ok. So. Wow. The entry. Both of them together. In the chand's light. That? Was? So? Freaking? Beautiful? Like? Wtf?

P.S. : So. Yeah. As I said. I am loving this show. The ending scene was perfect. It was so goddamn beautiful. Wow. Everything was perfect. Deva in black, Tara in red. Btw it was kinda surprising that Tara's chacha-chachi were in black while she in red(You know how it goes in some shows. The whole family is given the same color combination.) But it is also fitting because both of them are the black shadows in Tara's life while Deva, also in black, was given a see-through shirt underneath the coat, so I guess it was to show that he won't be completely black, like, black in the surface but his love for Tara would also be very much visible, just like his own skin is. Whatever. I over-analyzed the thing which did not need any analyzing. Lol. Whatever. Ok. Bye. God bless you.

F*ck it I had a little skim, S5 is a season that wasn't overly 'monstery' compared to the early seasons but I settled on some specific eps to perhaps glance at (only if you want to though!!! I totally get the disenchantment and wound up listing more here than I meant to) (the 'for fun's' are obvs subjective but there's certain scenes that might trigger doodle ideas)

Ep 1 sorta settles some fallout from the S4 finale. Might not be interesting but lays out some context.

Ep 2 not 'monstery' per se but might tickle a particular itch if you possess it

Ep 5+7 for fun?

Ep 8 for fun and an importantish reveal

Ep 9 is fun

Ep 10 is one of the bigger episodes for S5's overarching story

Ep 11 was one I quite liked personally

Ep 14 was one I also quite liked

Ep 15+17 might brush lightly against a particular itch

Eps 18 onwards head off the "f*ck destiny" journey, but for specifics 19 is a personal fave and latter half of 21 introduces one of my fave dudes

Again, wound up with a longer list than I thought, but I also totally understand the meh-ness after the Heaven plot! Hopefully there's something on this list that works for you

Having finished season 1 of "Good Girls," let me say that:

It is a hilarious series with 3 disaster leads (affectionate), but for all of its slapstick humor, its heart is: working class women trying to stay afloat.

Retta, Hendricks and Whitman give amazing performances that complement each other. Their chemistry truly is the biggest strength of the show.

Joan on "Mad Men" was understandably guarded, so it's refreshingly different to see Hendricks let loose as Beth. The way her voice switches from sweet and girly to sharp and authoritative on the spot? 11/10.

Retta nails both the comedic and dramatic bits with ease.

Whitman is charming as emotionally immature yet completely lovable Annie.

Truth be told, the season drags a little towards the second half despite the fact that the series is fast paced in general. They could have gotten away with 8-9 episodes instead of 10.

Yes, the concept is not entirely believable or original, but who cares? Didn't see anyone criticizing "Breaking Bad" for its straight up cartoonish moments. Why do we have to be so harsh when it comes to soapy delights that do not take themselves seriously like this one or "Why Women Kill"? Prestige dramas are good and all, but please give us a break from the typical male antihero narrative.

My point is, it is not the most scathing or poignant take on #MeToo and feminism, but so what?

Watching Beth hit the guy that almost rapes her sister reminded me of that moment in "Kevin Can F*ck Himself" where Patty injures her brother to protect Allison.

They paraphrased "Thelma and Louise" during that very scene. <3

Allison Tolman, here you are again being a total gift. If only she had more screen time/were a regular. Let her extort the ladies all she wants, but get rid of Leslie.

Say whatever you want about Dean, but Matthew Lillard's scenes with Hendricks are [chef's kiss].

Really loved Annie's child. Ruby's was also a delight. Both family arcs were touching.

Ruby and Stan. What a loving relationship. It was inevitable that the lie would leave their marriage in shambles, but it still is upsetting when that happens.

For a moment there, I was afraid that they were going to make Nancy the 1D "bitchy" wife so that the audience would root for Gregg and Annie (I do like them, but I do not think they will work out). Suffice to say, I gave a sigh of relief when they had Annie sympathize with her and call Gregg out on his shit.

I do not get the hype about Rio. He was funny in the beginning, but his generic/1D bad guy shtick got repetitive and annoying pretty fast. He shows up, puts on that growly voice, recycles 3 facial expressions while threatening the ladies and flirting with Beth, leaves. It does not help matters that Hendricks outshines the actor in every scene they share. From the way people talked about him, I thought he'd be more of a male Villanelle (s1 Villanelle), but without APD. Mea culpa. Knowing that they were actually initiating a romance, not just sexual tension between them, does not surprise me in the least, but it does leave me unimpressed.

Kenji’s reaction to this.

The way he changes the address from oka-san to oka-sama. How he asked Shiro to take his mother’s side in this imagined family feud. Kenji now is the man I wish to marry. Where can I find such a husband! I love Shiro’s confusion upon seeing Kenji’s reaction.

Side note: Why the f*ck is Shiro not inviting Kenji to join his household? What is he waiting for? I know real people don’t follow BL logic and that KenjiShiro don’t think of their relationship to be of a settled happily-ever-after type. But still! I don’t think Kenji’s family would object or ask for the other way around.

3. Shiro being thrown off guard by propriety and informality.

Shiro babe, you can offer financial assistance to your parents but don’t give it in one go, unless they ask. Don’t make it obvious, filial-piety coat it. Tell them this is what little you can do to show your gratitude for having raised you. You can also send them money in installments: the money you gave them already is going into making it possible for them to save and afford this for themselves. You can also win lotteries. Strike that, that’s too Gu Hai. For those who didn’t get that: HaiLouyin, in the danmei novel Addicted, indirectly fulfils filial piety by arranging random lucky draws that gets Bai Hanqi, who refuses to accept money, a lot of consumer durables.

4. Shiro apologizing for having let his parents mistreat Kenji. Kenji’s maturity despite his sadness on the matter.

5. Kenji is probably one of the most femme characters: he reflects so much of traditional femininity.

Barbershop drama

Barbershop owner and wife pretending to be civil for the sake of their child.

This is such a protective thing that parents do.

2. Owner’s wife’s decision to divorce once her daughter gets into uni and to leave the barbershop.

I am not a big fan of people springing well-thought-out decisions on others. I also believe that people can change, and that can be for good. That marriage ended with owner’s infidelity; the band-aid had to come off someday.

3. The ikemen hairdresser’s straight forward attitude and the customers who seem to appreciate it.

4. His girlfriend

I am not very happy with her choosing to leave him. This kind of self-sacrificial letting go really doesn’t suit a BL character, does it? Aren’t you supposed to fight for your love? Also, if the ikemen is able to let her go so easily, maybe it’s not worth it. But then he kept her stuff untouched. Also, she looks so good, such a scholarly beauty.

5. I love how the ikemen love drama.

This is so anti-Great Indian Kitchen (2021).

GIK is a Malayalam drama movie that holds a mirror to sexism in praxis in Malayali household. Drain water appears prominently in GIK.

2. Shiro’s past - being weak/cheap uke! Aka simp. Kenji feeling jealous.

3. Kenji not being Shiro’s type.

Kenji’s care and attention winning Shiro’s heart. This is the greatest BL trope – that there is someone who treats so well you’ll love them regardless of everything else. Kindness wins!

4. Shiro having treated Kenji with sincerity from Day 1 as seen from the recollection of the first meal he prepared for Kenji.

KenjiShiro is the closest thing to an arranged marriage couple, not the western romance trope bullshit. The proper, south-Asian kind. Sometimes people marry people who are not their type but treat them with sincerity and affection befitting a spouse.

5. Shiro admitting that Kenji is his boyfriend.

6. More than that the simulation!

The cousin one got me crackling like nothing else. That’s the go-to lie that couples, including straight ones, tell their nosy ‘well-wishers’, especially landlords, where I live.

He toes the line between the BL’s classic bishonen Gilbert and someone suffering histrionic personality disorder. This could be intentional; I don’t know for sure since I haven’t read the manga. If not, then screenwriter, director, actor or all can be held responsible for it.

This is a BL. Characters like him are supposed to feel at home here and find the right partner too. This has been achieved. So, this is less of a criticism and more of a praise.

However, I will never watch episode 5 again (I probably will though) because it made me feel the most uneasy I've ever been in front of an episode, and it is cursed, ugly, offensive, horrifying and... ANYWAY!)

I think we forget to highlight how strong this scene is for Adrien.

I don't know if this will be entirely the case, but...If the reasoning behind Plagg taking the Miraculous away is because this way he can be free to have a relationship with Marinette, here's Adrien trading his freedom (and not only his freedom. His best friend, his confidante, his company in his golden cage… he's giving all that away) with having a relationship with the girl he likes. Poor boy!

And I know that probably Tikki and Plagg have put it in a different way, probably they have lied to them, but it still HURTS to see him having to make this choice! No 14 year old should...

The fact that Adrien and Félix are sentimonsters in my mind has helped me placing the Shanghai Special. I mean, I'm surely wrong, but I suspect that the Shanghai special is set right before the episode "Félix" in season 3.

Think about it.

Gabriel was wearing his wedding band. If the special had been set AFTER Félix, then when Gabriel disappeared with the ring, then ADRIEN, aka Chat Noir, would have vanished in thin air. But this doesn't happen, and you know why? Because his ring was safe at home on mama Agreste's finger. The one who died the second Papillon vanished in thin air was...poor unsuspecting Félix somewhere in London.

I can imagine the scene (and if some artist wants, hey can take the bunny and make a comic out of it!):

*Hawkmoth disappears*

*Somewhere in London, Amélie and Félix are having dinner.*

*Poor Amélie witnesses her beloved child being wrapped in a purple bubble and disappear in thin air.*

Amelie widens her eyes in shock. "That's it. What the f*ck has Gabriel done now? What happened to my son?"

*an hour later or so, Félix reappears in a storm of ladybugs.*

"That's it," says Amélie. "We're off to Paris next week. It's the anniversary of Emilie's disappearance so Gabriel can't complain that we go to visit. But this story must end. Evidently, Gabriel can't be trusted with something as precious as the ring that contains your amok.

*Félix is shocked beyond belief, not only for having just died and having been brought back to life, but also to find out in such a way that he's not even human*

Which leads to the situation in the Félix episode that we have seen. No wonder the poor kid was "behaving strangely"...

as for the grisha trilogy people. they merged book 2 and 3 in one season. which. uh. sure why not. they made some weird changes to how amplifiers work to speed shit up because there was no budget for the fire bird apparently. the whole thing with baghra's bones sure was confusing lore wise. ALSO THE OTHER LIVING SAINT????? SURE THAT MAKES SENSE. mal is being dumb? for reasons? we are in king of scars territory now which ???? how are we doing that AT THE SAME TIME AS WE DO THE ICE COURT HEIST

the end of episode 4/ episode 5 was the beginning of the end for me. involving the crows with the fucking sword was dumb. they could have had the crows doing fun shenanigans in ketterdam while the Alina plot buddies did their thing. not this mess

Predictions: A Pre-Review

As I now reach the end of S6 of The X-Files, I'm going to start something new: making predictions about how much I think I'll like the episodes, based on the title, thumbnail screenshot, and short description that my source gives for each episode. I'll be rating them out of ten, then coming back to this when I finish the season to see how much I overshot/undershot.

My reasoning for this is that I'm entering the period where both MSR ramps up, and also there are opinions that it starts to get '''less good''' around here, so I think it'll be fun to see how wrong/right I am with my guesses. I meant to start this for S6 after watching FTF, but I forgot, so...here we are!

I've just finished Field Trip, so I'll start from here as there will most likely be a cross-season two-three?-parter. It's all below if you want to...

S06E22 'Biogenesis' - From the summary and the fact that I've heard almost nothing about it, it could be anywhere on the scale. 6/10

S07E01 'The Sixth Extinction' - Thumbnail has Mulder and Scully on the ground look after some kind of explosion, so that scene might be fun. There's a beached spacecraft apparently? With symbols? Not sure what to make of this, 6/10

S07E02 'The Sixth Extinction II: Amor Fati' - CSM and Diana are involved :( I think I've seen a GIF of Scully with a sword from this episode, what's with that. Mulder is catatonic??? H/c potential...7/10

S07E03 'Hungry' - The guy with no hair in the thumbnail looks creepy as hell, this seems like another version of 'The Host', 3/10

S07E04 'Millenium' - I Am Aware Of The Kiss. But I Do Not See It. Uuuh loses points for romance but gains points for seeming to be about Y2K, 5/10

S07E05 'Rush' - Potentially summed up by the meme 'I'm fast as f*ck, boi'. Apparently very forgettable, but I sometimes enjoy those the most. 6/10

S07E06 'The Goldberg Variation' - I feel like I recognise the guy in the thumbnail. Something about the luckiest guy in the world. Could be fun, 6/10

S07E07 'Orison' - DONNIE PFASTER??? BACK AGAIN??? And specifically gunning for Mulder/Scully...this could as fun as Kitsunegari, 8/10

S07E08 'The Amazing Maleeni' - Thumbnail has our pair at a funfair, where I think a magician has been murdered. Could be a fun little silly one, 7/10

S07E09 'Signs & Wonders' - Murder snakes. Sceptical Scully in the thumbnail. Should be fun, 6/10

S07E10 'Sein Und Zeit' - I'm pretty sure that Mulder's mother kills herself in this one, I think I read that as a spoiler somewhere. Angst ahoy... 7/10

S07E11 'Closure' - OOOH I'm looking forward to this one, finding out what really happened to Samantha. I hope that they do this well or I will be extremely annoyed. Being conservative for potential to suck, 7/10

S07E12 'X-Cops' - I mean, it's got the meta of TV-show-in-TV-show, so we're already doing well. And 'a creature terrorising LA' also sounds like it'll be good fun, love me a good Creature. Could be a silly one, 8/10

S07E13 'First Person Shooter' - HELL YEAH I can't WAIT for this one OH my goodness we get Lone Gunmen! Mulder and Scully in armour! Fun video game stuff that sounds like it could be Jumanji-esque! You'd better not let me down, 9/10

S07E14 'Theef' - Witchcraft! It could be the cause, idk. Excellent height difference illustration in the thumbnail. Scully looks severely annoyed. Hopefully I won't be, 7/10

S07E15 'En Ami' - CSM has an offer...it probably is too good to be true, yeah. Don't trust him Mulder, 6/10

S07E16 'Chimera' - Mulder's on a bird hunt and at least one cop eats dinner. Quoth the raven...7/10

S07E17 'All Things' - Scully's questioning her romantic choices and looking extremely pissed off. Probably takes itself too seriously, 6/10

S07E18 'Brand X' - Potential for CSM involvement given the cigarette researcher...not much else to reccommend it at the moment. 6/10

S07E19 'Hollywood A.D.' - YESSS this is the first episode I ever saw in GIFs, which really got the show stuck in my memory, I have WAITED SO LONG and if it's not excellent then I will be heartbroken. Skinman you're a real one. 9/10

S07E20 'Fight Club' - Sounds vaguely similar to Syzygy, somehow. Mass destruction could be fun, though. 7/10

S07E21 'Je Souhaite' - I have Heard Things about this episode that lead me to believe it will be more heavy than the fun genie antics that the summary implies. Maybe something like The Rain King which I thought would be about fun wacky meteorology but then ended up being about love, how boring. 7/10

S07E22 will be in the next batch.

So, that's it. If you've seen this series before, then no spoilers please, but am I being a sweet summer child? Will this season be a world of hurt? Let me know or scream at me (again, no major spoilers please), and in either case, wait for the post-season review. Until then...

I was such a fierce hater of this ship, but now I'm just conflicted. Like I UNDERSTAND why they fell for each other (I understood it ever since I saw it) and on a deep emotional level it's indeed a beautiful love story, a beautiful connection. But God, there's something there still that just bugs me and makes me want to cry every time I see or hear about this ship because... it just hurts. I know we can't say that they "butchered the characters" because human beings are complex, feelings can shift, entire lives can change in one day... but I still feel like it was so unnecessary. And I feel like it would've been also unnecessary even if we got 10 episodes instead of 6 if we consider how the show ends anyway... All they did was make Five look like an a**hole and a home-wrecker after everything he did to save his siblings. They made Lila look like a b*tch and a traitor after we finally accepted and saw how much her and Diego loved each other in Season 3, how ready they were to have a family. They made Diego suffer and for what? This love story pisses me off. It makes sense in the way that yes, it was not guaranteed they will ever get back home and being with one person for such a long time, especially if you two share similarities in so much areas of life and personality... yes, it was inevitable. But it was such a bad timing. It was such an underthought move. They should've made Lila Five's love interest from the beginning if that was the plan. Five deserved to be loved and honestly I'm GLAD he got to be loved. But for the love of God... it wasn't satisfying for most of the fans because it only lead to SUFFERING for all of the parties involved: for Lila, for Five and for Diego. My number one favourite character was Diego ever since The Umbrella Academy started, and my number two was Five because Aidan's performance just carried the whole show. Seeing their characters ruined and hating each other and ceasing to exist without making up, was just bitter to my heart. This is just a show, I know, but it brought me so much comfort and joy through these years that I began to refer to it, to refer to its characters as my second family. It was disappointing, that my favourite characters ended up hurt for a stupid plot choice. Lila also deseved better. Aidan Gallagher and Ritu Arya deserved better. I know they were filming these scenes in secret for weeks, that they put so much soul into it and there was more depth to this relationship that wasn't shown and they mostly get hate for this ship because of that... But I feel like I still wouldn't be a fan of Fivela even if I saw more of the way their relationship developed (and this is not the actors fault, they were wonderful). It just doesn't feel right (TO ME AT LEAST), it brings too much hurt to a show and to these characters that deserved a happy ending. I don't care that art imitates life and life is s*itty and things aren't alway ending right. F*ck that. Everyone knows this show should've ended in a different way. It was rushed. And it made no sense. It didn't do justice to any of the characters.

Sorry for the long rant. I just have a million thoughts about this show and I cannot really get over it. I don't think I ever will, as stupid as it sounds. I don't care.
