This cider is so called because it’s made from 5 different types of cider apples; namely Yarlington Mill, Michelin, Dabinett, Kingston Black and Foxwhelp. It starts out by being super fresh + juicy and I kinda think to myself ‘oh is that it?’ I know, I’m so impatient! However, I soon realise there’s a hell of lot more to it. A notable spiciness dances over my tongue followed by a slight sourness mid-palate, but it ain’t over yet - there’s a big... no MASSIVE hit of superb smokiness which fills my whole mouth towards the end and this lingers for what seems like forever! #NowDrinking #KentishPip #BrutSE #Cider [6.8%] from #Canterbury, #Kent - Made from Bramley, Discovery and the relatively new Zari apple. Unsurprisingly, the blend gives a really crisp, clean, zingy, acid led cider which isn’t unusual for Kentish Pip as this wine like appearance and taste is rather their signature. There’s young green apples skins and a zesty lemon flavour in the mouth with something tropical loitering behind.
