NFL Mock Draft 2017 Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett DE, If you are the type of person who looks through these mocks; you probably know that Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns match like pupu's and beer. I’m not here to make any crazy predictions, just looking to be as accurate as possible. San Francisco 49ers: Solomon Thomas DE, If one things for certain. I have no idea who the 49ers will pick even though its forever known that Myles Garrett has been projected to Cleveland. All I know is, it’s kind of funny to see how the 49ers are looking to build a “Seattle” style defense. Not that long ago these were the two best teams in the NFL and they went in the complete opposite directions. Chicago Bears: Jamal Adams S, The Bears are an even harder team to project. Just like the previous two teams they need a QB. However, no QB is worth the risk this high. I think Adams will be the pick, based on ability. Jacksonville Jaguars: OJ Howard TE, This pick seems like a flashy move that the Jaguars would do. Howard is a freak and the Jags just traded Julius Thomas. Howard can be what Thomas was suppose to be and more. Maybe they finally realized that they made a mistake picking Blake Bortles over Khalil Mack and need to surround Bortles with as much talent as possible in order to justify the pick. Besides, they just blocked off a potential pick for the team picking behind them who is in the same division. Tenesse Titans from (Rams): Marshon Lattimore CB, Lattimore has the highest ceiling of any corner in this draft. The Titans need a lot of help in the secondary and this pick would certainly help this young team grow. New York Jets: Mitchell Trubisky QB, There you have it, the first QB off the board. I think its time a team takes a QB as it’s starting to get easier for teams that need QBs to potentially start looking to move up. Maybe someone trades up for Trubisky but right now the Jets would be a good spot. TRADE* Cincinnati Bengals (from Chargers):  Leonard Fournette RB, The Bengals leapfrog the Panthers in order to get the top RB since Adrian Peterson. There is noway that Fournette would get past the Panthers, so the Bengals moving up is a great way to move on from Jeremy Hill. They were already looking at guys like Joe Mixon so why not give up a little to get a once in a generation talent. Carolina Panthers: Christian McCaffrey RB, Just because Fournette is off the board doesn’t mean that the Panthers won’t draft a RB. McCaffrey is a projected top 10 pick so it makes sense he goes here. Los Angelas Chargers (from Bengals):Jonathan Allen DE: Allen is a top three player in this class if not for some injury concerns. His slide down stops as the Chargers should be eager to turn in their draft card. A D-line with Bosa, Allen, and Ingram would give QBs all kind of problems. Buffalo Bills: Reuben Foster LB, The Bills need to improve on defense and Foster may be the hardest hitting linebacker in this draft. He has had some off field concerns but I don’t think that will stop the Bills from taking him. Pearing him up with former teammate Reggie Ragland looks like it would be a great duo. New Orleans Saints: Malik Hooker FS, The Saints have been looking for a ball hawking safety since the day they signed Jarius Byrd. We all know that didn’t work out, so now the Saints can try their luck once again. Hooker seems like he would be long gone but some injury issues (how ironic) have teams hesitating. Cleveland Browns (from Philadelphia): Mike Williams WR, The Browns are a team many are projecting to move up for Trubisky. However, I don’t see them moving up and giving up their precious picks. Williams will be a great asset for this team to draft, as 6’5” receivers that can run smooth routes don’t grow on trees. Arizona Cardinals: Patrick Mahomes II QB, The Cardinals have been linked to quarterbacks ever since Carson Palmers age started showing. Mahomes comes from a spread system so he can learn behind Palmer if he remains the starter. If not he’ll be ready to go in and air it out for Bruce Arians stretch the field style offense. Philadelphia Eagles (from Vikings): John Ross WR, The Eagles were linked to Brandin Cooks this offseason. I could see them picking Cooks 2.0 in Ross who may be even faster than Cooks. The Eagles are pretty set on defense so they can look to add another WR. Plus Torrey Smith and Alshon Jeffery could be both gone next year so why not take a talented WR here. Indianapolis Colts: Haason Reddick LB, Reddick has climbed mock drafts ever since the senior bowl. I think the Colts could use a Dontae Hightower type LB as Reddick can play the run, cover TEs, and rush the passer. Baltimore Ravens: Derek Barnett DE, Many think the Ravens will take a WR which they may do so. I chose to go a different route and trust the Ozzie way of going BPA. Barnett fits the bill and could be a nice rotational piece on a team with two aging pass rushers in Suggs and Dumerville. Washington Redskins: TJ Watt, I think the Watt last name will play a factor in TJ Watts name getting called earlier than expected. Albeit, I don’t think he will be the same player as his brother, he still is a good player. Anyways, the last names Pouncey, and Long helped get their brothers drafted earlier than most anticipated. Tennesse Titans: Corey Davis WR, The Titans select Davis with their second first round pick. That fills their two biggest needs with a lot more picks to go. It must be nice to be a Titans fan as their rebuild has been quicker than expected. This also has to do with Marcus Mariotas development as he has adapted quicker than experts were projecting. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Dalvin Cook RB, The Bucs are giving up on Doug Martin, and Dalvin Cook will be there to replace him. Cook and former teammate Jameis Winston will reunite to improve the Bucs already impressive offense. Denver Broncos: Malik McDowell DT, the Broncos could go either o-line or d-line here. I think they’ll go with McDowell as he could be the proper replacement for Malik Jackson who’s pressure from the interior made the Denver defense what it was two years ago when they won the SB. Detroit Lions: Taco Charlton DE, The Lions are another hard team to predict but I believe they’ll lean towards the home grown product. Charlton and Ziggy Ansah would make it hard for QB’s to throw it over two 6’6” ends. Miami Dolphins: Jarrad Davis ILB, Davis makes a lot of sense here for the Fins as they need a coverage backer who can also stop the run. Davis can do both and would be a great addition next to Kiko Alonso. New York Giants: Ryan Ramczyk OT, The Giants are a really good team, but they need help protecting Eli Manning. I was debating putting a defensive prospect here because I feel the Giants are extremely thin on defense and last year was the perfect storm of everyone staying healthy. That cannot be expected as injuries occur almost at will. Not saying I hope players get hurt, but you have to understand the Giants are a few key injuries away on defense from going from playoffs to 7-9. However I think Giants fans are still delusional that their teams defense could regress, so heres an offensive lineman to keep Eli healthy to score 30 points a game. Oakland Raiders: Zach Cunningham OLB, The Raiders are a few pieces away from being contenders. I believe the improvement needs to come on the defensive side of the football, because they can’t rely on Derek Carr to win shootouts. They won a few swing games (meaning the game could have gone either way) like against the Ravens, Saints, and Bucs. Anyways I was thinking of mocking a RB but now that Beast Mode is back for one more year they can look to address another need with this pick. Houston Texans: Deshaun Watson QB, Houston we have a problem. Anyone with an NFL IQ of 2 knows that the Texans are a QB away from contention. However, since they had to trade a second rounder to get rid of the horrendous $72M Awfweiler, this pick almost certainly needs to be Best Quarterback Available. Watson might actually be what the Texans need as he has come up clutch in many late game situations throughout his college career. Seattle Seahawks: Forrest Lamp OG, Alright anyone with an NFL IQ of -2 should know that the Hawks need to P-R-O-T-E-C-T Russell Wilson. If they don’t take an offensive lineman with this pick, they must be trying to get Russell Wilson killed before they have to pay him another 100M contract. Kansas City Chiefs: DeShone Kizer QB, This pick is similar to what the Cowboys did last year. Taking a Quarterback who has great prototypical stature and plugging them in and building a scheme to fit their needs. Kizer was a potential #1 pick before the college football year began. He needs a team that is nearly complete as he can be pedestrian and still win games i.e. Alex Smith. Dallas Cowboys: Kevin King CB, Speaking of the Cowboys I think they have a lot more holes than casuals assume. They lost two starting lineman in Ronald Leary and Doug Free (retirement) and pretty much their entire secondary. They could go a number of different ways but taking care of the secondary is a good start. Green Bay Packer: Marlon Humphrey CB, The Packers are in need of reinforcements and should go with BPA. To be quite frank they had a run that relied heavily on Aaron Rodgers, and while he may do that again next season its time to get some playmakers on defense. Pittsburg Steelers: Tre’Davious White CB, Another contender, another cornerback. The Steelers came up short last season and if they anticipate a return to the AFC title game with the Patriots (yeah they’ll be there again) they need to slow down Tom Brady’s passing attack. Atlanta Falcons: Takkarist McKinley OLB, The poor Falcons. Any team to lose a Super Bowl like that deserves a falling prospect due to injury. McKinley would be a nice edition across Vic Beasley, and if he isn’t healthy for the beginning of the season at least Dwight Freeny will not have the mid season wear and tear. Win-win in my opinion… oh wait nvm. New Orleans Saints (from Patriots): Charles Harris DE, With the second of their two first round picks. I expect the Saints to address the pass rushing hole that has been left open since Junior Gallete stormed out of town. It’s time for one last ride with the Payton and Brees duo. They’ll need to do everything possible in order to get back into the playoffs.

NFL MOCK DRAFT!!!
NFL Mock Draft Round 1 2016 4/28/16 1: Los Angelas Rams: Jared Goff QB Cal The Rams sold the farm so that means they’re taking a QB. I for one do not like the concept of trading up (especially from 15) but this is a QB driven league and the Rams don’t have one. Plus with the move to LA don’t be surprised to see flashy moves like this in order to sell tickets. Jared Goff seems to be the guy pegged in here. The California native and Berkley QB won’t have to move far, so lets see how he handles the pressure of being the savior of this franchise.
Philadelphia Eagles: Carson Wentz QB NDSU Well, this one was quite the head scratcher.. I have no idea what GM Howie Roseman is doing after the disaster Chip Kelly left. Shouldn't he know that Chip depleted this team of talent, and that he should keep as many picks as he can? To sum up the Eagles offseason. They traded Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso to the Dolphins, and DeMarco Murray was sent to Tennessee. Keep in mind that last year they spent a boatload for Maxwell and Murray, and also sent LeSean McCoy to Buffalo for Kiko Alonso. Not to mention that they paid Sam Bradford $22M and backup Chase Daniel a minimum of $12M. Doesn’t sound like the best situation to trade picks for a QB who played DIII and won’t even play for 2-3 years. But, what do I know? Wentz could prove me wrong and turnout to be great. Only time will tell.
San Diego Chargers: Jalen Ramsey DB FSU Regarded as one of the most talented players in this class. Ramsey resembles a lot of the same traits All-Pro Tyrann Mathieu has. The Chargers also lost veteran Eric Weddle this offseason. So his replacement will need to be found. Ramsey would be an immediate starter as a hybrid CB/S player.
Dallas Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliot RB OSU Zeke Elliot may be the best player in this draft. He is head and shoulders above almost everyone else. Some even say he could be the next Adrian Peterson. Now, that might be a stretch, but the myth of the Cowboys O-line being so good that “anyone” can run behind them and lead them to the playoffs. Yeah, so much for that one. I can’t see Jerry passing on Elliot when the only other logical pick (Ramsey) is off the board.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Myles Jack LB UCLA Myles Jack is one of the trickiest players in this years draft due to injury. Fellow LB Jaylon Smith’s knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl have pretty much knocked him out of the first round. Jack suffered his knee injury in the beginning of the season and because of that teams feel that he will be ready for the season. The Jaguars are desperate for talent, and Jack is just the type of LB former Seahawks DC Gus Bradley likes. Jack can cover the flat, run with guys in the slot, and blitz the QB when needed. This will be Bradley's last chance in Jax. I thought about mocking a pass rusher, but with the signing of Malik Jackson and the return of Dante Fowler I thought Jack would be the better pick.
Baltimore Ravens: Laremy Tunsil OT Ole Miss The Ravens are licking their chops at what has transpired after the Rams, and Eagles trades. What seemed impossible a few weeks ago is now a reality. Tunsil has been the projected #1 pick for most of draft season. After losing Kelechi Osemele to free agency the Ravens have a need at LT. Since Eugene Monroe can’t be trusted to stay healthy this is a no brainer for the Ravens.
San Francisco 49ers: DeForrest Buckner DE/DT Oregon With Chip Kelly now in SF we may see more Oregon players in the Bay area as well. Kelly doesn’t have personnel control, but Trent Balake chose Buckners former teammate Arik Armstead last year. He was giddy with Armsteads potential so I don’t see why he would pass on Buckner when his ceiling may be higher. Those two will cause a lot of havoc rushing from the inside on passing downs. Plus with the top two QB’s off the board, I can’t see the 9ers reaching for one when they can have a difference maker like Buckner.
Cleveland Browns: Joey Bosa DE OSU Joey Bosa wouldn’t fill the biggest need for Cleveland but he is the best player available and the Browns could use some help rushing the passer. Paul Kruger is at the back end of his career, and former first rounder Barkavious Mingo is trending towards being a bust. Bosa has fallen off a bit after being looked at as the best player in this class a year ago. He still is talented and could help out a Browns team that is desperate for talent.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Shaq Lawson DE Clemson Tampa Bay could go in a number of directions with this pick. I think they could even end up trading down if the price is right. Anyways, Shaq Lawson would be the best pick for this team. He, and newly signed DE Robert Ayers would give Tampa a nice set of edge rushers, and don’t forget that Gerald McCoy is still there in the middle.
New York Giants: Vernon Hargreaves CB UF The Giants made some noise this offseason by opening up the check book. They have filled a lot of holes, but they still need another corner to go along with the newly signed Janoris Jenkins. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie could be a stop-gap piece to let Hargreaves adjust as well.
Chicago Bears: Ronnie Stanley OT Norte Dame At the beginning of the offseason it seemed like the Bears were going to take a defensive player with the first pick. However, after a nice free agency period the team can afford to go best player available. It just so happens Stanley also fits as a need with the release of Jermon Bushrod.
New Orleans Saints: Noah Spence DE EKU Noah Spence is one of the more interesting stories of this class. He was a super talent back at Ohio State before being kicked out for off the field issues (failed drug test’s). Spence has met with the Saints multiple times and it seems like the two have hit it off. The Saints need help on defense, and Spence would upgrade the pass rush big time.
Miami Dolphins: Darron Lee LB OSU We are starting to see more players like Darron Lee and UCLA’s Myles Jack. Players who are talented enough to play RB but are choosing to play LB because teams are looking for athletic coverage LB’s. Nothing wrong with that, but this is how the game is evolving. Players like Lee use to be mid round picks, but now they’re one of the most coveted positions around the league. Expect this trend to continue in the future.
Oakland Raiders: Sheldon Rankins DT Louisville The Oakland Raiders are trending in the right direction for the first time in forever. They don’t have many weaknesses, and have a group of solid young core players. Rankins would give the Raiders the push up the middle that they need to go along with Bruce Irvin and Khalil Mack.
Tennesse Titans: Jack Conklin OT MSU The Titans were projected to take Tunsil all offseason before the trade. Tackle is still a need for this team and Conklin should be the pick if available. The Titans need to keep Marcus Mariota up right, and this is the moves they will have to make.
TRADE* Denver Broncos: Paxton Lynch QB Memphis This seems like the perfect spot for John Elway to make a move if Lynch is still on the board. Lynch is a notch below the other two QB’s right now. But he may have the most upside since he has everything you look for in a QB. Lynch also fits the type of QB Elway looks for so look for them to make a move for Lynch if he falls.
Atlanta Falcons: Leonard Floyd LB UGA The Falcons go with the former Bulldog here. Floyd has massive upside and would fit perfectly across from last years first rounder Vic Beasley. The Falcons once again finished at the bottom of total defense, so anyone here would be a good pick.
Indianapolis Colts: Reggie Ragland LB Alabama After losing LB Jarrell Freeman to free agency, the Colts will need to find a new signal caller for the defense. Ragland, was the leader of that Bama Defense and he can help out immediately. The Colts can’t afford to mess up this pick, with the roster being talent deprived.
Bufalo Bills: Kevin Dodd DE Clemson With the release of Mario Williams, the Bills will need to find another pass rusher alongside Jerry Hughes. Dodd spent a lot of time in the shadows of Shaq Lawson, and Vic Beasley but he is still a great prospect, and the Bills need help up front.
New York Jets: Andrew Billings NT Baylor With Damon Harris signing with Big Blue, Big Green will need to find a replacement. Andrew Billings may be the best NT in the draft. The Jets don’t have many needs outside of QB and since none are worth taking here, they can fill a bigger need now (no pun intended).
Washington Redskins: A’Shawn Robinson DT Alabama Boy did the Redskins hit the jackpot with the Josh Norman signing. The team doesn’t have many needs but adding a versatile D-lineman will only help this team. Plus Potroast Knighton signed with the Pats this offseason so they could use Robinson in his role.
Houston Texans: Jarran Reed DT Alabama The Texans have been looked at as a QB away from being a playoff contender. With the signing of Brock Osweiler the team can look to upgrade other parts of the team. Reed could slide in next to J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney. The Texans have one of the best defenses, and Reed will only help them improve.
Minnesota Vikings: Laquon Treadwell WR Ole Miss The Vikings are in need of a WR opposite Stefon Diggs. Mike Wallace was released, Cordarelle Patterson is Devin Hester 2.0, and both Charles Johnson and Jarius Wright are unproven. Treadwell has dropped due to his forty time, but he is the best receiver in this class and was once looked at as a top-10 pick.
Cincinnati Bengals: Corey Coleman WR Baylor The Bengals lost both Marvin Jones, and Mohamed Sanu to free agency so finding another young WR in the draft will be crucial. The Bengals don’t have many other needs, so they can take a guy like Coleman.
Pittsburg Steelers: William Jackson III CB Houston Will Jackson has sky rocketed up boards. his 4.3 speed is elite, and he has enough size at 6-0 189 lbs to run with bigger receivers. The Steelers are heavy favorites heading into next year if everyone can stay healthy. A player like Jackson will be needed if they expect to make a playoff run.
Seattle Seahawks: Ryan Kelly C Alabama The Seahawks O-line struggled without Max Unger. They need a new center to anchor that line. It’s clear the Jimmy Graham trade hasn’t worked out to this point. So upgrades along the o-line are needed.
Green Bay Packers: Braxton Miller WR OSU On the surface, this may not seem like a logical pick for the Packers. Especially when they have needs at LB and D-line. However, Miller has electrifying speed, and agility. He reminds me of Randall Cobb when he first came into the league, and look how well thats worked out so far. Not to mention that the Packers did struggle at times on offense with Jordy Nelson hurt, and Cobb missing some time. Another weapon for Rodgers could be the difference maker this team needs to get back to the Super Bowl.
Kansas City Chiefs: Mackenzie Alexander CB Clemson After taking defensive rookie of the year Marcus Peters a year ago, the Chiefs hope to find the same luck this year around. With the loss of pro bowler Sean Smith, the Chiefs need to find his replacement. Alexander is a physical cover corner and thats just what Peter’s was last year.
Arizona Cardinals: Robert Nkemdiche DT/DE Ole Miss It seems pretty apparent that players love coach Bruce Arians. He is known as a players coach, and he has no problem with drafting character guys. Nkemdiche was once looked at as a top-5 talent but some off the field trouble has him slipping. I think the Cards pull the trigger and take the talented, but risky defensive tackle.
Carolina Panthers: Sua Cravens LB/S USC Last year we saw the Panthers take a hybrid safety and linebacker in Shaq Thompshon. However, with the loss of Roman Harper at SS, the Panthers can look to have Craverns fill that role. He would be an upgrade over the veteran as he can also cover TE’s and WR’s. Something Harper couldn’t do well.
TRADE* Detroit Lions: Taylor Decker OL OSU The Lions are picking here because of the trade with Denver. Taylor Decker is an interesting prospect. Some project him as a tackle, while others project him at guard. Either way, the Lions are looking to make upgrades across the line. Matthew Stafford is running out of chances in Detroit. So protecting the former #1 pick will be crucial for this team. They can’t afford to have another season like last year when you’re paying your QB $20 Mil a year.
