At The Newt, Somerset, a Miscanthus sinensis cultivar (eulalia, Chinese silver grass) creates waves of texture. The clump-forming, deciduous perennial grass is wonderful in the winter and needs to be cut back in early spring before the new shoots start to grow.

"Whatcha doin' there?" I asked, leaning over Minho's shoulder

It looked like some sort of letter. A scroll of dark paper, words written neatly in black ink.

The writing didn't match Minho's though.

He jumped when I spoke, scrambling to cover up whatever the paper was.

Maybe this is that smut scroll Thomas told me about?

"uh- uh- nothing- just- a thing-" He stuttered, giving me a panicked and awkward smile.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and looked into his eyes, "Listen Minho. This is completely natural. And I understand if-"

I guessed I was wrong when his face contorted into disgust.

"No! Maria! This is not the smut scroll-" His eyes flickered back and forth, hand gestures going everywhere.

"Ok! Ok! Sorry!" I laughed, "So what is it shank?"

"Well- I- uh-" He began to stumble over his words again, "Here."

Minho uncovered the paper and handed it to me.

I found a paragraph of sentences in a nice manuscript.

Maria

Maria is nice.

Maria is beautiful.

Maria is my best friend.

Maria is lovely.

Maria is wonderful.

Maria makes me laugh.

I like Maria.

"Minho?- Did you?" I look up to meet his eyes

"Learn some calligraphy for you? Yea," He rubbed the back of his neck, "It's really stupid I know, I'm a shuck-faced slinthead. But you said you liked calligraphy, so I just thought- Never mind. It's klunk."

He began to take the paper from me, obviously embarrassed, and the red on his cheeks only growing.

"No! No!," I tugged back, "Minho I love it!"

His head snapped up, features shocked, "Really?"

"Of course! It's so sweet of you! I'm so flattered!"

"Well..." He rubbed the back of his neck, ego puffing a bit, "Yea"

I patted his adorable smiling face, "I'm taking this with me"

So uhm yea.

I literally wrote this in 15 minutes.

It's completely unedited so sorry for any mistakes :)

You’ve Been Hurting For a Long Time

Some days, when he sees someone on the street that looks just a little too like Graves, that makes his blood run cold. He’s quick to apparate home then, trembling hands trying desperately to open the front door until he remembers that the door is locked, and he’ll pull out his wand and wordlessly unlock it, slamming the door shut behind him. He stumbles into the flat, breathing so fast he feels light-headed. That he might pass out right then and there.

And the panicked feeling of; “This is it. He’s going to die. He’s going to die. He’s going to—”

Newt rides it out on the floor of his empty London flat, with only Pickett as company who chirps at him with concern, unable to do much to help him.

It’s a testament to how lonely he really is that he doesn’t even notice it until he’s alone again. New York had been an adventure he’d not forget any time soon. He’d spent a little under two weeks in the city, and yet it had made a larger impact on him than any place he’d ever been. And he had been all over the world.

As the boat had made its way to London Newt spent his time taking care of the creatures in his case. He’d kept himself busy as the journey had dragged on.

Theseus greets him at the docks. He welcomes him home with a tight hug and a pat on the back. He takes him home and they eat dinner together. He wants Newt to be his best man at his and Leta’s wedding. He tells him he’s proud of him and wishes him good luck on the book. Then he leaves for the night.

And suddenly Newt is alone again.

Seattle native Ted Vigil returns to The Newton Theatre for his annual tribute to John Denver in a family fun Christmas Special.

“I do it as a tribute, not as a first person (impersonator),” said Vigil. “I met a sound engineer and a pilot that knew him. They said I should seriously do a tribute show, with my voice and my look. I really switched gears. Some of his music has a rock feel, some of his music has a pop feel. I went to Aspen and I met some of the people he worked with. I met his mother and I met his brother. I really got a feel for his inspiration and what he was about."

Ted has performed at John Denver’s own “Windstar Foundation” in Aspen, Colorado with the late Steve Wiesberg, John Denver’s lead guitar player from 2010 to 2014. Wiesberg  said “Apparently the audience thinks they all look and sound like John. I don’t see it. I see it with Ted. A very strong physical resemblance… Uncanny!”  

The most heard comments after a Ted Vigil show are “I can’t believe how much he looks and sounds like John Denver! It really took us back!” A long-time Denver fan commented they were “completely blown away by Ted Vigil. From the moment he set foot on the stage, I was mesmerized by his voice and his incredible resemblance to the late and great John Denver.”

A good chunk of my blog is NSFW so whatever happens happens. This blog was definitely multipurpose for me including using references which were in fact NSFW. Now I’m frustrated cause it’s going to be hard finding what I’m looking for. 

ANYWAY

You can find me on Wattpad under InfiniteTeal and TheNewTeal. I am also on Ao3 for my fan fictions. I also have an Inkitt account as well.

If you want, you can follow me on my personal social media, but I don’t post a lot of anime, fandom content, or NSFW content on either accounts. I’m considering following artists or making another twitter so I can keep up with what’s going on in a few fandoms but I don’t know yet. If you would like to follow me on my personal accounts you can ask and I'll be happy to give it to you.  I also might make a separate Twitter just for all my anime and nsfw content since all of my favorite artists are moving as well, but more on that when I actually make the Twitter.

There have been a few platforms circulating around that may be an alternative to Tumblr. I can’t really say much about any of them yet since I don’t know that much, and I’m not even sure if I would move or not.

Currently reading: Uhm ... Sherlock Holmes? Don't judge me for my hyperfixations. :D I don't have much time to read, though, so I'm only at "The Man with the Twisted Lip".

Currently listening to: Johannes Brahms, Piano Trio No. 3 in C Minor ... Can't listen to anything with lyrics if I want to do anything else at the same time because I'm terrible at multi tasking. :D

Last series: Good Omens. :D Saw a lot of people talking about it, but it didn't really stick with me tbh, though it was all right.

Last movie: ... Grease. Yep.

Sweet/spicy/savoury: I don't know, all of them? It depends on the time of day. I love spicy food, but I would never have it for breakfast. However, I was told I'm the only person who likes sweet pancakes for dinner (this can't be true, there has to be another), so maybe I should go with sweet. :)

Currently working on: A term paper and some organisational stuff for work (it's Saturday! :,( ). And the next chapter for my Fantastic Beasts fic which should be uploaded today... hopefully.
