My fave fanfics to write are MHA (bc superhero society, yes pls), HQ (bc I love sports & the characters are awesome), Resident Evil (bc I'm a major gamer & love that series.)

Not sure I'll post more than this bc after I completed my first book, with my own created characters I felt empty. Idk. Never found the true inspiration to write after that. Just little stories for myself. Over 20 years ago now, lol. I'm ancient.

Posting this so I can read other writers interpretations of my fave characters without being blocked. So many pages say if urs is blank they'll block u. Maybe I'm too old to be here, but I just enjoy good writing. Don't even care what characters they are. I read everything I can. It's my escape.

If I post any stories they will be MHA, HQ or Resident Evil & it will be fluffy or angst.

✨Review✨ Heaven by Mieko Kawakami ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you have been thinking about reading this book, this is your sign to go pick it up! #chefskiss . SOPOILERS . Yesterday I finished reading this little piece of gold. Heaven is the story of two teenagers being bullied at school and forming a platonic friendship. The book has this Gorgeous dialogues between these two characters whose social ineptitude make for interesting, deep and unfiltered conversations about life, society and purpose. My favorite character was the protagonist’s stepmother, they have all these wholesome interactions and she seems to love her stepson so much. I just loved all scenes where the two of them were together. Mieko Kawakami has a talent for creating characters that seem real, they all give the impression of having a backstory even if it’s not written in the paper as such, you just feel how much she cared about all of them and every detail. I also (And here comes a little spoiler) particularly enjoyed a conversation he has with one of his bullies about the reason behind all the abuse and it is enlightening how this character has completely separated morality from human behavior and seems to find it unnatural and nonsensical to even think about the relation of the two. As opposed to Kojima’s character who sees her own bulling as part of an almost religious experience of enlightenment. . This book was at times adorable and at other times heartbreaking, but it had my heart from beginning to end. Would highly recommend. . 📘 Shadow Rose 📚 Daughters of Moon and Sun 🖋️ Elsie Quail ➡️ Synopsis 🌞🌞🌞🌙 Firstly, I fell completely in love with this cover. It is just absolutely gorgeous! The premise of the story was also rather compelling and I do love a well-spun fantasy world. The world setting itself is really quite wonderful, especially the contrast between the human world vs. the Afterlife. The details of magic and different creatures to the compellingly dark dungeons where the Lady of Darkness was being kept prisoner kept me riveted. I also love a good quest for which these 3 friends set off to right a wrong. Unfortunately, I wasn't too keen on these characters. Maybe, it was my expectations... I somehow wanted Maeva to be just like Mia from The Nevernight Chronicles. Okay, not exactly but bad ass because, at the start of the book, that's what she kind of sounds like. However, she wasn't, exactly... She and her friends cried quite a lot in the book. I don't know why I mind so much when my tears are pretty much on tap but it bothered me. Her interaction with her bff & love interest was also really awkward which is in one way understandable BUT I kind of found the first time they actually got it together so very truly awkward or just really weird (in terms of setting than sexual content). But then again, it could just be me. This book is obviously not for children and these characters are also not children but yet, they also stamped their feet a number of times! I honestly can't remember the last time I stamped my feet because I'm upset, can you? Overall, lovely setting, really promising story arc but I was just unable to empathise with these characters. Thanks to the author for gifting me with an eARC copy of the book.
