The Characters

Putting down the basic information's about the most important characters here. Everything from their full name, their ages and birthdays, sexual -identification and -orientation, family dynamics and relationships, to the titles and powers they have.

My rewrite will start on Earth in 2004, since that's when the first season aired.

One year on Magix is just as long as one year on Earth and Stella teleported herself there around the end of July but Alfea's school year doesn't start until about the 11th of September.

I'll list everyone's age at the time of September 1st 2004.

The Winx girls are around 18 years old in the beginning, as the three schools of Magix City are colleges. The boys are about to start their second year in Red Fountain and the Trix get in their third year in Cloud Tower.

Bloom Pietra

18 - brought to Gardenia on August 24th 1986, which she celebrates as her birthday actually born on December 10th 1985 nonbinary, bisexual (she/they) she was named Sera, daughter of Queen Marion, Priestess of the Hearth and King Consort, Sir Oritel - both from Domino. Younger sister of Princess Daphne who was the Nymph of Domino, but died at age 25, when Domino was cursed. Daphne saved Bloom's life by bringing her to Earth, where she grew up under the care of Vanessa and Mike Pietra in Gardenia, Italy. They are amazingly supportive and loving parents. she was best friends with Selina, until she got into a relationship with Andy - Selina then confessed having romantic feelings for her, but Bloom couldn't return those. Andy and Bloom's relationship lasted for almost two years and ultimately ended in a big fight, resulting in her leaving their band (she played the drums). Bloom has fire magic and is the Keeper of the Dragon Flame, she will be a Fairy

Shining Princess Stella Luna-Ray of Solaria

19 - August 18th 1985 cis, pansexual (she/her) she is very close with her father, the Radius Cyrus, who is the King of Solaria. Rather distant with her mother, Lady Luna from Callisto. The two of them are about to be divorced. Her best friends are Sky and Nova. she was in a relationship with Amaryl, but they fought a lot and ultimately decided that it's not worth it. At the beginning of the story she's already in a relationship with Brandon - they've started dating half a year before. She knows about Brandon and Sky switching places, since she has always known Sky. Stella is the Fairy of Sunlight

Flora de Alyssa Rose

19 - March 1st 1985 cis, panromantic and demisexual (she/her) daughter of Alyssa and Lord Rhodos, both from Linphea. Very close with her mother, but broke off the contact with her father, after her parents got divorced. She is the older sister of Miele, they are very close. Their mother got together with Sage, who is very close with both girls and has two daughters herself - Rue and Clove. she is really close with her family members, but never had close friends, since she always focused on studying. She went to Cloud Tower in hopes of becoming a Witch, but during meditation her Wings became visible and she had to switch over to Alfea. Flora is the Fairy of Plants

Musa Mai-Lin Song

18 - May 30th 1986 androgyne, bisexual with preference for women (she/they) child of Ho-Boe and Mai-Lin from Melody. Mai-Lin died when Musa was 12 and Ho-Boe moved with them to Magix City after that. Since then he was very distant and forbid Musa to pursue a career in music. Musa however, was able to keep contact with their grandparents in Melody. they were always distracted with school, or helping out their dad in the shop. But they were in a relationship with Darcy, at least until she became closer with her coven sisters. Musa is the Fairy of Sound

Tecna "Tec" Cryos

18 - Dezember 16th 1985 agender, sapioromantic and asexual (they/them) child of Magnethia and Electronio Cryos - both from Zenith. Older sibling of Neo Cryos. They are very distant with each other. was always very focused on studying and never made any close friends. Tec is the Fairy of Technomagic

Crown Princess Aisha Waters of Niobe, from Andros

18 - June 15th 1986 cis, lesbian (she/her) daughter of King Teredor and Queen Niobe of Andros. Younger sister of Princess Politea, who was the Nymph of Andros, but unfortunately died when Domino was cursed. Since then Aisha's parents were very strict and overprotective. she grew up very secluded, as her parents were scared over losing their second daughter. Growing up in the castle she had one friend - Anne, who also was her first crush. Through her Aisha found her hobby in dancing and sneaking out of the castle. Aisha however, hasn't seen Anne in years - since her parents caught them sneaking out of the castle. she will go to Alfea under a fake name - Layla Aisha is the Fairy of Morphix

Ísey "Icy" Skadis

20 - Dezember 5th 1983 cis, lesbian (she/her) both of her parents died when Ísheim was destroyed. Her older sister Sefira had to take care of her ever since. They were taken in by a woman in Eraklyon, who was very kind to them and taught both of them basic magic. when she grew up in Eraklyon she never thought of making friends as important, rather being focused on learning to practice magic. Only when she came to Cloud Tower, met Darcy and Stormy and the three of them became a coven, she saw a point in becoming friends with someone. Icy is the Witch of Frost

Darclila "Darcy" of Griffin Aster

19 - October 5th 1984 cis, bisexual (she/her) daughter of Griffin from Callisto, younger sister of Darko. They don't know their father and their mother doesn't talk about him. she had some friends growing up, but only got closer with Musa, who she also was in a relationship with. They however broke it off when Darcy preferred spending time with her coven sisters over Musa. About one year later Darcy got in a relationship with Riven and they are still together. Darcy is the Witch of Illusions

Storm "Stormy" Donna-Wind

20 - April 5th 1984 doesn't care about labels but would put herself as nonbinary, aromantic and asexual (she/they) daughter of Lady Donna and Lord Bruce, both from Serenia and divorced. Stormy and her mother are estranged and she doesn't have a lot of contact with her dad. was homeschooled and didn't care about gaining friends, until she met Icy and Darcy. 19 - October 15th 1984 cis, bisexual with preference for women (he/him) grew up in the orphanage of Magix City. His mother, the Dark Witch Mandragora, is form Zenith. His father is from Melody, but he doesn't know him. he has some friends in Magix City but he's not too close with anyone, besides his girlfriend Darcy. Riven has void magic, which means the magic of others doesn't work on him at all, he will be a Paladin

Brandon Masonz

19 - September 23rd 1984 cis, bisexual (he/him) son of Sir Mason and Esme, both from Eraklyon and happily married. Older brother of the twins Jacky and Rayna, as well as baby-sister Fran. Very close with his sisters. He and his family consider Sky as his younger brother. As Brandon started being the Prince's squire from a young age, he grew up in the castle and quickly became Sky's best friend. They need to pose as each other, in order to keep Sky save from assassinations. Thus Brandon is an excellent fighter with swords. He got into a relationship with Stella about half a year ago. Brandon has metal magic, he will be a Paladin

Crown Prince Skylan "Sky" Erendorz Jörd

19 - March 20th 1985 cis, straight-romantic and asexual (he/him) son of Emperor Erendor and the Empress Consort, Nymph Samara - both from Eraklyon. Both are very commanding and distant. Younger half brother of Prince Thoren, who he is close with. But he's closer even with Brandon's family, since Thoren prefers to spend the least time possible in the castle. as long as Sky can remember Brandon ha always been his best friend. But so are Stella and Diaspro. Sky has gravity magic, he will be a Paladin

Helia: 20 - September 2nd 1983 Krystal: 17 - March 19th 1987 Helia is transgender ftm, straight-romantic and demisexual (he/him) Krystal is cis, pansexual (she/her) children of Queen Rachel from Linphea and different fathers. Helia doesn't know his, but Krystal's dad is Codatorta. They are the grandkids of Saladin and very tight-knit with him. However, Rachel had to give up her family in order to become the Nymph of Linphea. Helia and Krystal live in Magix City with Saladin and Codatorta. Helia was always more focused on his art than being interested in finding friends. He was always very popular anyway, just didn't care about it enough. Krystal on the other hand traveled a lot to royal balls, even though she couldn't be too close to her mom anyway. She became close friends with Princess Galatea of Melody and soon started to spent a lot of time with her. Helia has blood magic, he will be a Wizard Krystal is the Fairy of Sand

21 - January 30th 1983 cis, aromantic and asexual (he/him) son of Duke Ophir from Andros and Uma, the Nymph of Serenia. Twin brother of Anemone "Anne". He is very close with his mother and sister, but doesn't get to see his father a lot. he's been homeschooled and after that focused on mastering Arcane Magic, thus never caring about making friends. He had some acquaintances, just no one he's keeping in touch with. Nabu has thermal magic, he will be a Wizard

Roxy: 17 - September 22nd 1986 Selina: 18 - Dezember 21st 1985 they were both Terrestrial Fairies, thus born genderless - Roxy doesn't care about genders or labeling themselves, they just say - none, aromantic and asexual (they/them) Selina associates as female, lesbian (she/her) they grew up under the care of Eldora and Klaus Morgan. A very tight-knit and loving family. Roxy has always had one best friend - Macy. Selina saw Bloom as her best friend, until she realized she was having a crush on them, when they began dating Andy. When she confessed they got into a fight after which Selina started rather hanging out with Roxy and Macy. She is quite close with her mother. she was homeschooled and spent a lot of time at Jörd's main palace, where she became friends with Sky. At royal events she spends most of her time with Stella. When she got into Alfea, she focused on her studies, but also became friends with one of her room mates - Anne. They dated for a bit until they came to the conclusion they'd be better friends. But the gist is that she’s a secret squib in a pureblood family. Her father and brother hate her, her mother abandoned the family in shame, and her only ally in the house is her older sister.

She’s just a sweet baby, but she’s also a massive people pleaser and desperately wants everyone’s approval.

Trixie started carrying a fake wand at her older sister's suggestion. She tells people the core is veela hair, which is known to be particularly temperamental, in the hopes that they'll leave her be.

Her pride and joy is her two-year-old albino pygmy puff, Angus.

Trixie wants nothing more than to get married. She's spent her whole life dreaming of a handsome pureblood wizard who would whisk her away from her father's house and keep her safe forever. She wouldn't even mind if he didn't really love her... just liking her would be enough.

When she was a little girl, Trixie suffered with the speech impediment rhotacism. This is something she largely outgrew (thanks to a combination of ridicule from her father and brother, and elocution lessons at boarding school), but when she’s particularly upset, sometimes her ‘r’s will still come out as ‘w’s.

Although she loves her job at the Magical Menagerie, Trixie finds the commute to Diagon Alley five days a week absolutely exhausting. Getting to work is simple enough, as the family house elves can help her floo from home to the Leaky Cauldron, but the train home at night takes more than four hours.

She considers herself to be entirely talentless, but Trixie speaks fluent French, is a competent horsewoman, and learnt to play piano while she was at school.

Skin: Pale yet warm grey. She has a moderate amount of freckles across her cheeks.

Tattoos/Scars: Yes, though she's lost count of how many. The usual amount of scars one gets from an active and happy childhood. No tattoos though.

Family

Parents: Beatrix was and is very close with her mother. She wasn't exactly fond of the idea of her daughter leaving the village but relented when she was satisfied with Beatrix's training.

It was her idea to send her to Eorzea. Beatrix briefly wanted to join Lente's Tears. She hoped to meet General Fran.

As for her father, she probably ran into him at some point in her wanderings. He would probably be proud of her. Though also a little exasperated.

Sibling(s): None. She was one of the rare only children in her village. She had plenty of nonbiological siblings and cousins. She got along pretty well with her fellow kits.

Grandparents: Yes. Her grandmother was one of the people was one of the people who taught her to fight. Her mother saw no problem with this. Truly.

In-Laws/Others: Her mother's hunting partner, Nora. She was like a second mother to her.

Abilities: If one were to ask Beatrix would say she mainly excels in hitting things hard, fast, and until they stop working. Which is to say she's well-trained in fighting with both an axe and her fists. This is only partly true as she's decently good, though untrained, at Aether manipulation. She has the potential to become a conjurer [White Mage].

She is also able to read maps and use a compass. Knows both basic field medicine and wound treatment.

Hobbies: Light reading. As she struggles with focus when it comes to the written word, she sticks to short stories and reading in short bursts. Beatrix enjoys traveling and trying new foods as she does so. She's also a rather good cook.

My first edition of Tristan had the nickname Trix, fc of Laura Harrier, and was a lot more jittery, stiff and serious, and likeIy to hide behind Viktor. Tis isn't -- confrontational but xe is Tired and not looking to run. Xe's an Adult and xe isn't going to go looking for xyr past but xe is not going to not face it if it comes xe's way. Xe has a mixture of Mature and just Done approach [but there is a deep latent teasing that Theo can draw out ... at the cost of poor Viktor.] That said, xe is also not that social [though xe isnt against a fun time].

BIOGRAPHY:

Beatrice Abbott was born as the second child of a loving family. From the very moment she opened her eyes there was noting but warmth. The Abbotts had been among the list of sacred twenty-eight once, but Bea was just another proof that their family had made the choice, taken a step away from the rigidness of society; or at least those within it. As such, even during her early years the values or kindness and sticking up for the right thing were made clear to her. It was a wonderful childhood, one in which the person she’d come to admire most wasn’t her parents but her older sister Rosmerta. Ros was a joy to be around and soon after they became three, graced with a younger brother, Anthony.

The trio, despite the years between them, got along well and had their fun moments. Beatrice became very protective of them and her family, knowing that no matter what she always wanted them safe and sound, happy and cared for. The Abbotts were spared their children from the forced classes the previous pureblood generations still had to go through, but Bea still fell in love with the idea of dancing and requested flying lessons long before their Hogwarts letters arrived.

Seeing Ros leave was a hard day, but it only meant that her day of leaving had come all the closer for it. And when that day came, the letter arrived, Beatrice couldn’t have been prouder and happier. She was ready for what she considered to be the journey of a lifetime. The hat wasted no time, calling out Gryffindor the moment it touched the head. It was a new home, a second home in which she found the joys of mischief and other things, making friends along the way.

Outside the walls the war was brewing, a slow simmer that kept growing further and further. By the time the tensions could be seen even within the castle Anthony had joined them, although within a different house. Bea was proud and the Abbott siblings reunited at last. It was also during that time she found her love for quidditch, joined the Gryffindor quidditch team as a chaser. Hogwarts was her home, despite how much she loved the home her parents provided. A home, away from home.

During fifth year, Beatrice was approached by Edgar Bones. And while at first, she played hard to get, claiming quidditch took too much time that answer didn’t fly for all too long and she accepted to go out with him. Not once did she regret the choice as Edgar made her feel things she’d never felt before. And then he graduated. For two whole years it was a mess of letters, but she was determined. In the absence of Edgar, she instead focused on her grades, worked hard to leave with excellent results and a chance to go wherever life would take her.

When graduation drew near, the witch had made up her mind. Despite everything that may have been pointing towards picking up quidditch, her true passion lay within the mysteries of another thing altogether. Beatrice had discovered her passion not just within sports, but her wish to know and her burning refusal to give up, stubborn as she was. A relative overheard her thoughts, the conversation with her parents and being an unspeakable themself recommended the Department of Mysteries to her.

It was as thought a whole other world opened. The Department of Mysteries was everything Bea had wanted, despite a lack of chance to discuss things outside of work and with others than those who shared the same Department. If anyone were to ask, she would simply tell them she’s trying to understand the joys in life. This couldn’t have been further from the truth as the witch worked within the Space and Death Chamber, fluttering between research and the need to understand the machinations of the universe.

The time after Hogwarts did not just come with the work at the ministry, no. She also came to see her sister happy and in a relationship that she had no doubt would eventually blossom into something beautiful; more so than it already had. Her and Edgar were going strong, equally. If she had to imagine her life with anyone, it would have been him. And then it all changed. Ros and Alastor split, her sister left behind with seemingly no reason. Both her need to protect as well as her own fears kicked in. Perhaps unfounded, but to see two people so strong come to such a harsh end out of nowhere? It left her worrying. It left her terrified that Edgar, despite how much she trusted him could do the same.

The day she approached him to talk, not her usual confident mess but instead a person she usually couldn’t be found looking like, the witch began to talk. Her words were a mess, the message equally confusing as she tried to explain to him that splitting would be rough. Whatever her words may have been, the fear having her fumble, the sudden agreement from Edgar shocked her to her core, left her speechless. There she was, trying to tell him about her being scared that he would leave her, only for him to leave her moments after in agreement to her words? Just what had she said to make it seem as though this was something she wanted? Things were over, just like that. Perhaps it was the ease in which he had agree that made her fears surface. That day she simply walked out.

For a while she kept her distance, only returning once she was sure that whatever emotions she still felt, whatever feelings she still held were pushed down far, far below. Only seeing Edgar would sometimes make the construct built wobble. Her entire focus was on her family and on work now, on her friends, both those from Hogwarts and after.

The years went by. The war raging on becoming bigger and bigger. No longer the low simmer it once had been, the fight is on. Now all she seeks is to join the Order of the Phoenix, wanting to be part of the fight and to bring whatever it was she had to the table. This was her new purpose; to help and fight and show those simple-minded fools what they were doing to the world.

This AU was developed over the course of approximately a year or two of KNY roleplays, originally beginning with simple headcanons before spiralling completely out of control.

This AU's lore is deep and complicated, as much care was put into it. It's not a complete fix-it, more of "somebody lives" than anything.

The AU also contains several non-canon relationships, mostly between canon characters, with the occasional well developed OC.

Yes, there's OCs. Don't worry, none of them are main characters. They're more of support characters, accessories to the canon characters.

Anyway, as this is an AU, it will not be canon compliant in any fashion. From personalities to lore to biology, it's gone off the deep end of fanon.

BACKSTORY:

His Guardian, Scokex, sent him to ALNST as a “punishment” for not being able to sing like his brother -> made to shame, humiliate and eventually kill him

At “home” Scorkex would make Brandon watch ALNST and sing the songs that are being performed, and every time he failed (which was all the time) she’d lock him in The Closet.

On his first day at ANAKT, he met Cindy and Trix, who also don't like singing, and they became close friends

Unlike Cindy, who sees ALNST as something to love, Brandon sees ALNST as something to fear

Despite not being good at singing and not liking it, Brandon still works hard to be as good as his brother and live to see another day

Unfortunately, his best wasn't good enough and he was constantly abused by the teachers.

At first it was easy to deal with, but as the years went on he fell deeper and deeper into the hopelessness due to his lack of singing ability

Eventually it all became too much for him

Scorkex was furious with Brandon’s method of "escaping", so he paid Keeron to find "doctors" and turn him into a half-human half-alien zombie

Made it so he can sing and put him into ALNST Season 40

Before Hogwarts

✦ Born mere minutes after midnight of a foggy night in May 1955 ✦ While her parents were hoping for a son to take over as the proper heir of the Black name, Bellatrix was still welcomed with open arms ✦ Grew up admiring her father while assuring that her mother's wishes were made clear for her education ✦ Was a kid with mischief and curiosity in her eyes, a burning desire to explore the world and understand every inch of it ✦ Bellatrix was overjoyed to have little sisters to take care of, determined to prove that three little girls could easily be as impressive as the desired heir that Druella and Cygnus lacked even after three children ✦ When not in dance lessons or tutored by her private tutor or governess busy running across the fields around the manor and the gardens ✦ Always saw herself drawn to the dark and dangerous yet knows when to stop before curiosity gets the best of her ✦ Bellatrix sees herself as the one watching over both her sisters, wanting them to prosper into something more than what people think capable ✦ She noticed early on that she had a fascination for history and the way of the world. Every little detail mattered and felt like the solution to a puzzle yet unknown to her ✦ When her letter for Hogwarts arrived, Bellatrix told herself that Slytherin would be her path with no exceptions. During Hogwarts

✦ When the sorting hat was placed on Bellatrix head it was actually rather torn, questioning if Bellatrix might find a home within Gryffindor or Slytherin as she had a mind that would find comfort within either houses. It was Bellatrix who denied the notion of Gryffindor as nothing but Slytherin would do. A choice she didn't regret. ✦ Bellatrix fit right in with the others, easily becoming part of the crowd and taking charge when needed. It was all too easy when the name carried so much weight ✦ Once third year came around she joined the Quidditch team and became the Captain by sixth year, showing off her natural leading capability ✦ When rumors of a wizard determined to take charge and ensure blood purity began to spread, Bellatrix was one of the first to join up and although she isn't parading that around, the ones who know are very much aware of her alliance and intentions ✦ When Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor it almost felt like a punch to the gut, being reminded of her very own sorting that almost landed her in the house her family would have only frowned upon. ✦ Narcissa's sorting into Ravenclaw filled her both with confusion and pride, seeing only the benefits within her sister proving to be such a wonderfully smart being. Bellatrix loves both her sisters so she'll be the one to support and protect when needed. ✦ When the time to pick a major came it wasn't hard for the witch to settle on History of Magic, seeing nothing but usefulness within the one thing others only saw dry and boring nothingness within ✦ It was around that time when her parents reached out to make it clear that a perfect match was needed, their sights set on the Lestranges. Bellatrix doesn't mind and when the choice will be made, she'll be ready for it.

Future Plans

Bellatrix is aware of what's expected of her. While incapable of carrying on the Black family name it has been made clear that finding a good match to continue the bloodline at the very least on into is of the utmost importance. Yet the witch desires to have fun and live a little before settling down entirely. If life and time allows for it she desires to work in the Genealogy Department within the french Ministry of Magic or remain with the British Ministry of Magic as a curator and historian within the Department of Magical Artifacts.

✦ Bellatrix has taken to baking, secretly for the most part. The house elves of the manor know not to say anything because Bellatrix can get quite harsh. When not at home she can be found baking in the school kitchens of Hogwarts. Only close friends know and she's sure to make Lucius try her baked and cooked goods. ✦ Loves dark blue roses and white lilies the most out of all the flowers despite their controversial meaning ✦ Despite her strong belief in blood purity and the value within it, she doesn't find an issue with the occasional or casual relationship between purebloods and others as long as those of purer blood are aware that it can be nothing more than a game to be played and dropped at a moments notice ✦ Bellatrix' middle name 'Eris' comes from the ancient greek goddess of chaos and discord. No one had any idea just how much that would shape the path in her life. ✦ At times she finds herself torn about her sister's and cousin's houses, not entirely sure what to make of it even though in case of Sirius the step back and away from the familial bond was a lot harsher.
