Okay I do agree we talk about our gossip girl 2021 crossovers a lot but ALSO I just saw this picture and

Gavin and Haz on a ranch (perhaps even just an entirely separate au thing where he’s playing nearby or is just spending a summer on a ranch for reasons and Haz lives there) and the menace that Gavin would be seeing him

okay to be fair it's not like we could ever talk about them too much i love them all so so much

but also yes yes yes absolutely!!!! hear me out two versions

version a: Haz's family has a ranch in Texas, Haz takes Gavin there on a school break, Gavin has to deal with Haz being ridiculously attractive and competent and making a lot of "save a horse, ride me" jokes

version b: either Haz just lives in Texas or went back to the family ranch for a school break, the band is doing a concert in Austin (Gavin said that was too "country" for them but a headlining show is a headlining show) and sometimes Haz's family rents out the guest house on the ranch and the band booked it. New York boy Gavin thinks he's going to hate everything other than performing, doesn't expect to see a super hot boy his age practicing for a rodeo, and he definitely doesn't expect to find out that that boy is their host for the entire trip
